"Alright Ma'am, don't worry. I'll not go to lengths to ruin my own medical treatment as well!" Seth was usually good natured, even though he had moments of pure insanity. He retired back to his office, and inspected the 1911 that had served him so well the day before. He cleaned the gun thoroughly and set it aside, sitting back and closing his eyes for a moment.

Rose resisted the urge to laugh.

However fun Max could be and however nice she was, she could be evil when needed. Rose hugged her friend.

Rose hugged her back.

"No one is stressing themselves." She said firmly.

"Give me a few days of rest and I'll be fine." Travis continued to eye his new toy. "Besides, I need to be in fighting shape to keep you two from ending up like this. By the way, where are the rest of my guns...my Sniper and my Shotgun...I sent that damned sentry out a few hours ago to pick them up...he hasnt come back yet?"

"Nope." Rose said, leaning against a wall.

"I'd go, but Max would have a cow."

"Well if that the case, then go...Max having a cow would be pretty funny to see!" Travis laughed at his own joke.

"Trust me, there's nothing funny about it."

Something about how seriosu Rose looked and sounded was even funnier though.

Travis leaned over a found a radio on a table not far from him. He turned it on to hear his favorite song playing.

"Bach..." he said to himself. He nestled into his bed comfortably.

Rose sighed alittle and slid down the wall into a sitting position.

"How was your meal...or should I not pry?"

"No. It's not up for conversation."

Rose's voice was cold. She couldn't get what had happened out of her mind.

"Im sorry then."

Travis leaned over again and turned off the radio. He sat up in the bed, stretching the gash in his back and sending a rocket of pain around his lower body.

"Rose...I have a question. When I went on that last mission, I was confronted with a Lycan I'd never seen before. He was...a wolf...and he was a s big as me, maybe bigger. I was wondering if you knew who he was, I vaugly remember his face from somewhere, but I can't put my finger on it. Or maybe I'm just going insane."

"I don't know. I'm sorry, but I'm trying to figure somethign out myself."

Rose lifted her head.

"If I told you something, would you keep it from everyone else?"

"They couldnt even even beat it out of me, whats on your mind?"

"I killed my first victim. I haven't done that since I was TRULY 6. Then, I was still starving. But when I moved on i was suddenly full."

Rose looked confused and vulnerable, something that rarely happened.
