Haha

Max laughed alittle.

"Damn, I feel like a little kid now."

Travis

Travis chuckled, which came out as a muffled snort. He had always appreciated the idiocy of the drunken.

pass out time

Seth rolled over and looked at everybody. Either they were swaying, or the room was moving. He couldn't tell. As he looked, he realized the corners of his vision were going black. He knew what was coming.

His eyes closed completely, and he passed out without a sound.

Weight of the World

Travis sighed to himself. He couldn't help but blame himself for the groups perdiciment. After all, it was his problems and his lust for revenge that was driving the group into almost certain death.

Thirteen Lycan executives to kill. Each one them hiding some peice of a bigger puzzle. Each one of them one rung closer to the "Director". Each one of them surrounded by defenses almost unimaginable. They would be tested to their limits.

Still, Travis was strangley happy. He was an oddity now, just like everyone else. No longer was he a cliche human, driven by simple cliche revenge. He was a turnlent time bomb, a mix of two bloods that have insintctivley poisened each other for all enterinty. He was an unstable chemical cocktail, ready to explode at the slightest provocation.

He fed of the blood of others, and he was a great white tiger. He could become invisible at will, and take the shape of others, but I drained him of so much energy.

He had no doubt that the fight ahead of them was bound to be nye impossible. It was hardly realistic to think that everyone would escape from these thirteen mission alive.

He was happy because of it. Yet he was tormented because of it. He could not handle his emotions. His love for Rose, his hate for Maxamillion Cauldwell, his lust for the truth, his need to shun it away. Even his own nature confused him.

He stood up and stretched out, eyeing the passed out Seth and the dazzling Rose and roared, as loudly as he could. He knew a battle was coming, and he wanted to tell them he was sorry...they caught his drift.

now I'm not passed out

The passed out Seth was woken by the roar of tiger-Travis. He jumped up, and stared at the tiger. "We get it. Could you keep it quieter? I'm pretty sure every Lycan in a ten mile radius just heard you. Speaking of, where is your son?"

Travis

Travis morped back into human form. It felt odd. All his bones changed shape and size and position. His back cracked relaxingly too.

"He's in his room. I think something bothering him, and I worried about him. I...I...don't trust him. Even though he is my son, I can't seem to trust him like one."

Me either

"Look man, I don't trust him either. I'll go check on him, alright?" Seth grabbed the ivory handled handgun, put it in his shoulder holster, and began to move towards the door.

Travis

Travis roared like a Tiger, but he wasnt one. He jumped in front of Seth and held him back.

"Calm down. Your drunk and tired. He dosnt know who you are, and one of you could gte hurt. I know you dont trust him, but betraying the trust he might have for us by showing that will do us no good."

fine

Seth looked at Travis. He stared in his eye, thinking his idea was stupid. But, whatever. He dropped the clip down onto the ground, ejecting it from his gun.

Damn Fool

Travis glared at Seth. He knew what he was thinking. The alchohol coursing through Seths body was making him irrational. Travis would have no difficulty beating Seth into submission if he had to, but he wouldnt. Seth was a good man, he was just a little drunk.

"What now?" he asked. He noticed Max and Rose wearing expressions that asked that same question.

Seth looked up. "Someone needs to at least make sure he's here. I don't want him to find out everyhting about us and then run off."

I will

"I'll go to him now... check up on him. I need to talk with him anyway."

Travis bounded from the room. He had regained his original appearence. He left Seth with a bottle of whiskey, and mountain of guns on the wall, and a tired overused computer.

sorry, been swamped

The half drunk Seth passed back out. The gun was still in his hand, and it fell to the ground when he snored and rolled.

He was lost in dreams of the upcoming battle.

No rest for the wicked

Travis had lied. He did not go to his sons room. He left HQ and moved along the street, sniffing the air methodically whenever he passed someone. The people were so downtrodden from the war. Travis was surprised they we even still managing to make a living. Many of them were Mercs for hire, some were drawn into prostitution for not only pleasure, but blood.

In these turbulent times, the city had become dangerous. The news reported more street fights, more battles and more murders each day. Not a moment went by when the citizens were'nt terrified of what lay ahead.

A soft rain set in, pattering down onto the cracked and chipped asphalt below with a soft thud. Thunder rolled softly in the sky, and the street lights began to turn on. Travis passed the subway where he met with Rose and Max again. He stopped at the entrance and loked down into the openeing. The train still sat on the tracks, its front ripped off and its handbrake ruined. Several police officers swarmed around the scene, pretending to investigate. The police were good for nothing now, no-one did anything anymore. Every institution was corrupt and everyone was working for their own gain.

The tower gleamed ominuously in the dark, its many lights scattered across all three hundred floors. At the top sat a single bright light, taking up the entire top portion of the tower. Travis moved toward the building with uncertanty, he did not know if he would be recognized. He pulled aside a guard and thrust his teeth into the mans jugular, putting on his clothes, he continued toward the building, disguised as one of them.

The rain had become heavier, more forceful. Travis clutched the guards M-16 tightly, he hoped he wouldnt need it. The front of the building look so alien, but it was still so familiar. He read the large words printed on the sign just ouside the main facade. Large floodlights ominously cast light onto the building frontal lower floors.

The guard at the door glanced at him as he walked past, they expected nothing. He was relieved to be out of the rain, and as he stood in the all to familiar lobby where he had once sipped coffee with co-workers, he could not help but think aboutn what might happen if he were to be caught. He moved toward one of the golden elevators and pressed the button for the top floor.

The elevator dingged, and the secratry looked up at him. She looked suspicious at first, no-one beside staff was permitted on the top floor. She was put at ease when she saw the guard standing at the elevator, smiling back at her.

When the door slid open, Travis reviewed his plan. He was only here for recon, that was it. He needed to learn to be sneaky anyway. The elevator jolted up and Travis read the ever present logo above him several times.

"Cauldwell Enterprises"

wakey wakey

Seth turned in his sleep.

Dreams haunted him at every turn, dreams of flame, and bullets, and of a burning sensation over his whole body.

Just when it all became too much, Max would appear in the hell.

He couldn't understand it. She was so young, and he already had the mindset of an elderly man. He had seen so much, he was so damaged, it could never work. There was no hope. He was a fighter and a guns dealer. She was a scientist. He wasn't what she was looking for.
