Rose was headed back, having caught one of the poor mutts who roamed the street. Strangely, she had seemed full after a mouthful.

Rose walked with ehr head down, unsure of what was going on. Strange facts echoed through her head, screaming at her: 1.She was in love with a human. 2.She had killed for the first time in around 300 years. 3.She ahd been starving, and suddenly full. 4.Her brother was actually on her mind.

She shook her head and hurried back to HQ, opening Travis' room.

"Back!" Rose said, smiling widely and back to her happy mood. On teh way back, she had brushed out her hair and had a fresh rose pinned above her right ear.

Max smiled at her.

"Welcome back."

"Good luck trying to keep me down too long. We need more cash flow coming in here, and I found a good way to do it. I'll clue everyone in later on." He picked up his shotgun cane and hobbled back to his office, where he sat down and opened up the laptop.

Travis stirred in the bed, rolling over on one side to ge a better look at Rose. She was stunning now, a fresh Red Flower, combed hair, and a crystal complexion.

Rose blinked.

"That, my friends, is a strange man." She shook her head, smiling.

"Then again, this is coming from the vampire who wants peace."

"A vampire who wants peace, a crazy weapons supplyer, a tom-boy with a nasty right hook and one suicidal man...quite a group..."

"Ah well, never tried to say I was normal."

Rose flashed another smile only she could manage without looking foolish or fake.

Travis was itching to move, but he knew the doctors and nurses would beat him with a frying pan if he got up. The large gash in his left side from the hunk of rocket shrapnel had only just been removed, and it still hurt to jerk his arm to far.

"Ugh, I hate this bloody bed. Freakin tubes and wires sticking out of me!"

Rose smirked alittle, looking mischevious.

"I heal naturally, alot faster than any hospital could do for you."

"No need to rub it in..."

Travis grabbed a bottle of water next to his bed and rdrained it in one go.

"Hey, I've got perfectly good reason to be crazy!" Seth grinned, walking with a clank as the shotgun barrel hit the ground. "Hey Travis. I brought you a present. Here's your old gun. I polished it up a little bit, replaced the chain with a pure tempered silver chain, and I'm hoping I can try to fit a collapsible stock on. That's all if you don't mind. Oh, one more thing, the butt now has a recoil control pad to help improve accuracy, and the firing pin is new to prevent jams. Hope you like it. Free of charge." He then turned to Rose. "Just let me know if you guys ever need anything. You saved my life. You'll get free stuff for a while."

"For a while?"

Travis caught the new gun in his hand and smiled. His old friend had a new face. He revved the chainsaw and the burses came screming into the room. Once they found out it was only Travis playing with a firearm in a hosipital bed, they slapped him on the head and left.

Rose blinked, looking confused. She frowned.

"Okay, you win this round Travis. All I know about guns is they go bang when I pull the trigger." She rubbed her head and looked at Seth.

"Can I get a stupid person rerun of that?"

"Hahaha. I made his gun amazing. And for you, if you ever want a second pistol, I can attempt to procure you an almost identical pistol to the one you have." Seth took a seat in a nearby chair. "So Travis, how long do you think you'll be out of commission?"

"As long as he needs to be. You're not breaking my stitches." Max said, crossing ehr arms.

She ahd a death glare directed at Seth that would wilt flowers.
