I had it in my minds eye that Max going to explore the side passage and not venture down the hall. But this is good. Doesn't seem to be any mist down there.

It is almost like all the traps have been sprung.

I assumed that Maximus would want to move to the point in the hall where he could see everything to the end, to make sure that nothing was lurking in the dark. I figure as highly seasoned adventurers, I can make assumptions on the side of caution. Chances are you won't go into a situation without looking up, checking the corners etc etc etc.

It would seem pretty crappy if we just hang back and watch Maximus face whatever alone. That said, I think I need to see his reaction to know what Arien needs to do.

Though you may want to check for any continuity errors or personality defects. The way I play Kadrin may vary only slightly to vastly different from how Ayrn (Scott?) played him. It's going to take a bit to get back into the swing of PBP role playing. It's been a bit more than a year since the last time I did this.

Scott played him as a pretty typical, gruff dwarven soldier. Kadrin is a general, so I'd guess he's something of a tactician... aside from that? I say you're golden.

I am writing this Post from a friend's house, because our internet service has been disabled (we share with a neighbor and there are electrical problems in their apartment that has knocked out our internet access and the electric in their apartment).

Not sure when I will be able to Post again, but until the other Players post and Alacrity updates the decisions, hopefully service will be restored before I need to Post again sometime next week ???

Cloak of Bravery to fend against nudity - That's funny. If you ever read or played ToH the original, it is full of "nude" teleport traps. Funny the first time but after awhile the players get tired of running around looking for their equipment.

I looked but did not find any description of such a cloak? Ody did you just make it up?

It is a cleric spell Albert.

I never looked there as Ody is not high enough to cast 4th lvl spells
