Characters in Roger's games often have bad days...

...we love it.

hurm

Without a bad day or two, it is just a bunch of friends flying around in a spaceship.

Rob returns

Rob and I are working on a new character. May need to break out the blueprint of Rocinante and find some sleep quarters.

or I can kill off a character.

LOL

Oh, I reckon Fu Sheng would be perfectly happy with a hammock or a mat in the cargo bay if it came right down to it.

No need to resort to violence...

Space

If I recall fireflys have two double cabbins and three single for the crew with and additional four at the aft of the ship for passengers. Space for eight without needing to double up.

correct

There is a number of ways to arrange residents in a firefly. I know we had it mapped out once but that might have been lost in the rdinn crash of long ago.

Well seeing as Wolf's

Pretty shot up I guess I can give up my stateroom to the new pilot. Seeing as I'll be spending quite a few months in sick bay and after I can crash within the engine room as well..
This is of course if we need the room if not I'll stay where I am at.

If I recall...

... Sam would have had the first, single bunk aft of the cockpit. Makes sense that Tess would take that one (Buddha only knows what Sam might've left in there... ).

Wyatt had the first double bunk and Willow had the second, I believe... Wolf was in the last single bunk... Asher was in the other single... Which left Bowman in the guest quarters...with plenty of room there for another bunky. I thinks...

I'm the map I'm the map

Accirding to the book there are five crew rooms, two double three single. Then there are four passenger dorms, two doubles two singles. So there is plenty of room for all. I seem to remember that Willow had one of the passenger doubles as she wanted to be near infirmary.

Rob character is coming as a passenger at the start if next campaign. Game will begin after some time has passed so you can use your advancement points and spend any money on upgrades.

Plenty of Room............

Well I'm about to post.......and if it don't work.......well there may be plenty of room and a need for a new gun slinger!

Go big or go home!

This is as close as I've been able to get to a Big Hairy Audacious Movie Moment.

Saved you the Trouble

As Ody did not specify the type of grenade he is using here are the two most common starting with the one most likely that he is using.

Concussion
The concussion grenade is an anti-personnel device that is designed to damage its target with explosive power alone. Compared to fragmentation grenades, the explosive filler is usually of a greater weight and volume. The case is far thinner and is designed to fragment as little as possible. The overpressure produced by this grenade when used in enclosed areas is greater than that produced by the fragmentation grenade. Therefore, it is especially effective in enclosed areas.

The US MK3A2 concussion grenade is filled with TNT and has a body made of tarred cardboard. It came with a "spoon" on the top—a spring-loaded arming device that was activated by pulling a ring on a cotter pin that held the spoon to the grenade's side. Once the pin was removed, the thrower had to keep the spoon in place by holding it against the grenade. Once the spoon was released, the spring flipped it away from the grenade and a timed fuse chemical reaction started that would usually set the grenade off within four seconds. .

The term concussion is often erroneously applied to stun grenades. This is not descriptive of the effects caused by the grenade. The term concussion is used because the grenade relies on its explosive power to create casualties.

Fragmentation
The fragmentation grenade (commonly known as a frag) is an anti-personnel weapon that is designed to disperse shrapnel upon exploding. The body is made of hard plastic or steel. Flechettes, notched wire, ball bearings or the case itself provide the fragments. When the word grenade is used without specification, and context does not suggest otherwise, it is generally assumed to refer to a fragmentation grenade.

These grenades were sometimes classed as defensive grenades because the effective casualty radius of some matched or exceeded the distance they could be thrown, thus necessitating them being thrown from behind cover. The Mills bomb or F1 grenade are examples of defensive grenades where the 30–45 m casualty radius[5] matched or exceeded the 30 m that a grenade could reasonably be thrown.

Modern fragmentation grenades such as the United States M67 grenade have a wounding radius of 15 m (half that of older style grenades, which can still be encountered) and can be thrown about 40 m. Fragments may travel more than 200 m.[6]

To mimic Alacrity sentiment

Bwahaha

Ody did specify that it was a fragmentation grenade.

"He knew the feel of the Fragmentation Grenade."

And as the core rulebook specifies that frag grenades are mental (unless Ash specifically purchased plastic ones) you are looking at the everybody filled with little holes and bits of metal scenario... that is if the grenade is let off and everybody isn't crushed by falling debris.

Have fun

Mythbusters

I need to know a few things and relate them into game terms.

How long from flip to boom?

How does the grenade work? Flip the top cause x to move to y and then z.

And the Mythbusters question - can you disarm a grenade with a high powered rifle by destroying the trigger mechanism?

I will call the boys and see if we can get Kari to dress like Lara Croft for the episode.
