CCW

I believe the CHL is what they call a Concealed Weapon License in Texas. Sounds like he has taken his range shooting test and passed with flying colors.

Congrats Tann!

So beware, Tann will soon be armed, I'm would be scared myself if I wasn't carrying

My apologies for intruding upon your game thread once again.

Archangel is correct

CHL does indeed stand for Concealed Handgun License and during my refresher course the instructor ran me through the firing sequence for the CHL and scored me without telling me till it was over. It helped my score for sure as it was just I and the instructor and I was quite relaxed.

The course is normally 10 hours long but after the written test as I have already completed the firing range portion I’ll get to leave a few hours early. Also no need to fear I am very familiar with handguns and such and would never shoot anyone without a good reason say like the armor is sold or does not fit . Now THAT could be in my mind a good reason.

okay, I get the how

Not sure I understand why you are applying for said license. Is this an employment thing or a requirement of some sort?

Armour - I figure the armour would have to be somewhat flexible to size as who wants to buy custom outfits for each person you are equipping. So I would say the armour will fit Wolf but would be snug. Keep in mind the limitations I have given (-2 AGL while wearing) and that they have already absorbed so much damage at your hands as well. Armour does not last forever (2-4 rounds tops)

Didn't see the remainder of the post for some reason.

I was reading it and preparing my post on my phone. Must've missed the last portion where heads explode.

Point: Unless Wyatt thinks they can unload the armor, he won't condone taking it. No use bringing additional trouble to the ship.

Heads popping usually equals very bad things. I like where Cathy is going with the thought concerning the radio though. I'll try to have an addition to my post to round it out soon.

Popping heads...

The Mercs....

I'm working on a post about what Asher saw as the ASREV flew up past him (has nothing to do with the little birdie PM I got from a certain Canadian GM). So don't go too far yet on what Dillon said before his eyes popped.

Disabled

Well seeing as I am no longer strong enough thanks to the metal shoulders to throw a dart with my main arm the right. Or much less a punch or anything physical to defend myself. Getting a concealed permit was the only way I knew to defend myself and my Mother.

I never plan to draw it and there are many places I cannot wear it. But like I said about the armor I'd rather have some way to defend myself as needed then get held up or in one of the many shootings you hear about nowadays and become a victim.

It's pretty simple I guess I am disabled, I am overweight, and I can no longer defend myself physically.

ahh I see

Okay. I was curious and did not mean to pry - sorry if I did. Just we have such a different mindset from time to time that I have to ask to fully understand.

It's all good

Roger you are one of my closet friends on the Inn and in RL so I never consider your questions an invasion of my privacy.

It's the way life is for me and after a life saving brain surgery and metal shoulders I'm still alive and at least now for the most part I know what my future holds. I have a steady income that I'll never lose. I have better health care then I ever did before this. I'm finally at peace with what I have endured the last 10+ years as I know what I need to do to be happy. The Inn and the people on it I call friend will always be a big part of that

I'm not the same angry Tann I was for 3-4 years on the Inn that caused so many people to think me a troublemaker .
I'm just me, like me or not, I don't force anybody to be my friend. However those that do take the time to get to know me, and understand the hardship that I have been through. To become my friend will find me as faithful and loyal as a dog raised from a puppy and treated the best.

I've wanted a CHP for some time.

But... I live in the West, so I can just carry the holstered weapon on my hip, and have.

I've added to my post. Roger, let me know if I need to change anything. I'll use some plot points if I have to, and Influence/Leadership...whatever skill you deem correct.

Rode Hard and Put Up Wet.....

A life filled with Froth-n-Slosh only preserves (pickles) you, it doesn't keep you pretty.

You wish you look this good when you hit 62.

BTW, Tann, I sent a PM with my first half of the Hielong post.
Add Wolf part and send it back and I'll finish it and post tomorrow.
