I may be out of contact for a week and a bit then.

Blammm bursts out the craziness of work, guns drawn in anticipation.

"Who wants some?" He asks menacingly, but suddenly realizes only his companions are around. "Hey! I thought we were gonna have ourselves a little public relations spotlight her?! Where they at?!"

The players kept their eyes lowered at the ground, none wanting to speak. Blammm looked around... no DM. "Where's Al?"

Eol spoke up hestitately, "He...um... he... fell asleep and didn't bring in the baddies."

"What?!?" Blammm cried out. "But I wanted to shoot off my guns." he whined. "Man... what am I suppose to do with these now. (indicating the rifles in his hands)"

Just kidding! But I do have a clarifying question: Brom are you inviting the rest of the crew on for breakfast, or not? I'm currently waiting for your lead.

As far as I know, the crew has been invited to breakfast (Trish won't come, of course, so we'll have to bring her back a "Mama Bag")...

Also, FYI... I've been capital BUSY recently and haven't had a great deal of time to devote to posting myself... hoping to load up on a pot or two of folgers this evening and getting the ones I've started finished up and tacked on to the thread. See y'all over ta Jim an' Sam's place.

I'm back from a huge conference in Atlanta and should be home for at least a week. While we do have V's party this weekend, I'm eager to get moving next week.

If Bromern doesn't work up a post before I do, I"ll assume that the Cap'n relays the invite to the ship, and Blamm and Willow will meet up with Kora to head over together.

From the shadows a eerie scratching sound tickles the player's ears. At first it is ignored, maybe purposefully, until first one, then another, and another of the intrepid gamers finally turn to peer into the blackness. It is then that the creature lunges! A writhing torrent of scales and fangs, its huge mouth agape, displaying a struggling Bromern Sal caught within its maw.

"I'll..." The beast lashes its head to the side in a vain attempt to cause the struggling player to slip into its gullet.

"Be..." Unsuccessful with its last attempt, the creature throws itself into a a death roll just like the crocs of the Land Down Under, but Bromern's not an easy kill as he forces his way head and shoulders from the mouth.

"Right..." Realizing that its meal is about to escape, the giant reptillian monster bobs its head and rises up to a vertical angle, hoping gravity will wraps its greedy hands about Sal's body. Grimacing, Bromern lodges a knee against the roof of the creature's mouth and twists to as to keep it wide while he grabs one of the beast's horns so that he can gain some leverage.

"There!" Finally! The brave soul manages to drop from the angry maw and stumble back towards the party; who, peering around the slime-covered player with awe-filled eyes spot a collar around the creature's neck with a dangling tag like that of a dog's tag. Upon this tag are two words displayed prominently as though they were the creature's name:

REAL LIFE
Turning to the others Bromern sighs and peers down at his ruined outfit. "Smokes, but that nearly got me!"

Well done, Blamm and Bromern! It has been a long week for the House of Alacrity, but there is a week of sanity ahead of us. I hope to post soon, and I know Alacrity is planning some writing time for this afternoon.

*lashes her whip at killer dust bunnies* Back under the bed, you fiends! I've had enough housework!

It's been a week or better in the works but I managed to get a post tacked up... ... With any luck, I may manage a more detailed post re:breakfast time in the next day or so but, just in case the calls and stuff swamp me again, I tacked on some "Dash will" notes in my OOC...

For the record, I don't "skitter"

I may glide, dance, stride, drift, and for the right audience, shimmy, but "skitter" wasn't covered in Companion training.

OOC: Not sure that we've been in a dangerous situation as a group before now...I need to figure out how Willow reacts.

Would Willow have time to go to the Roc and back to get her med supplies? Or should I just ask Jim and Sam where they keep theirs?

We're waiting on Kora and Asher, right?

We are waiting on Blamm and Lysh. Specifically Kora becuase she has information vital to the plot and I can't move forward until she reveals it.

1) Where is Lysk? I haven't seen her around lately.

2) I will be away from Friday to Monday on holidays with no internet access.

Real life is beating the heck out of many of our players. Lysk is very busy right now and she asked me to do a post for her. I have been bogged down with my new job too. Robert is busy and Bromern is quite busy as well. Heck, let's face it, we are all quite busy.

I am determine to play this game though so a week of delays won't stop it. Post when you can and keep watching the thread. I won't quit unless I start losing players.
