I like the lead in. Works well. When Gator is "rejected", Tess might think she has the job but then would still have to audition and compete with John.

Great post Celeste, Tess really don't like us 'lliance folk. Wonder if John's role in the whole sorry affair will redeem him... it sure won't be his attitude towards browncoats 'cos that ain't too shiny.

Seroiusly, good post an thank you for punching Gator, with any luck he'll be too busy nursing his wounded pride to kick up a fuss when Tess is picked over him.

...John might have picked the wrong ship to fly on with a 'less-than-shiny' attitude toward Browncoats... ... Oughta be an interesting flight.

I think that the alliance vs Browncoat can make for interesting character development and story. Consider that John Ryan did medical evac so basically nevered fired a shot vs Tesss in hard combat. Two completely different world views that might be at odds but might learn from each other as well. The important part (for the plot points) is the balance of conflict and resolution you play. Anyone can play conflict, heard to roleplay accepting that your world view isn;t the only one that is right.

Hoping to move this along by Sunday. So please, post them if you got them!

...my comment was meant to infer the same thing. Should be interesting for character development and RP purposes. Hell, the whole beginnings of Wyatt and Sam were centered around who was on who's side and who did what to whom... Look how they turned out.

'llaince vs Browncoats could/will make for interesting character development, that is providing John doesn't develop a bad case o' being dead.

I hope to post something more myself, bringing John up from the engine bay to the cockpit, but that may be late Saturday.

Honestly I'm waiting on Brom to post how Ryan gets to the engine when he is here for a pilot test?

I'm kinda waiting on Bromern to post as well, mine is mostly written so I'll just be able to slap it up late(ish) tomorrow.

thta everyone standing around waiting for someone else to post is a lot like doing nothing.

As when I post you can assume certain actions will be met by other players. So you put that down in brackets and move along. I promise I will sort it out in my post if I need to.

For Example:

"Hi Captain. This is John. He is gonna help me rewire the electrical system for free"

(assuming Wyatt says yes)

John and I head down to the engine room....


If Bromern post that he draws and shoots John in the head, then it is up to me to sort out the details.

So less waiting and more posting please or I will post on Sunday and I will assume what is being done by your characters.
