Odyson's words carry wisdom

Just as Odyson said above the measure of a good father is being able to give up something he loves for the betterment of his family.

Though I will miss the Castle and all the horrors left waiting within I would have missed the GM even more. Glad your sticking around my friend.

What is important

I am disappointed about the loss of the game. But please don't take that as a statement on your reasons - instead I mean only to say that I have greatly enjoyed Escape from Castle Rautenburg. It is a compliment - you have given me enjoyment - and at a time in my life when I badly needed it because of real life issues on my end. Thank you for being a big part of the Inn.

And now go do what you have to do. Best wishes to you and your entire family.

Wow............

Just looking at the dates of old posts and it's hard to believe it has been nearly three years.

I was reading some of Doc's interaction with Brutal an remembered how I playing Doc very differently than my other characters. I'll need to try push that roughness a little. It was easy when I played off of Ye Olde. Doc can be blunt, not cruel just blunt.

Yeah

that makes sense. Will would had been 4 and we had a diagnosis for few months and no help at all except waiting lists. His meltdowns were three to four a day and lasted hours. We call that time the Summer of Rage.

Funny to look back at it now. He is currently very verbal, learning to interact twitch people and self regulate his emotions. It won't happen overnight but we are moving forward.

Anyway - sorry this has nothing to do with WWII, just happy to think of the progress he had made.

Sigh............

It warms me to hear Will is doing well. Taking the small victories can get us through the day. I wish you and Van continual small victories.

moving along

I have characters from everyone. A couple I need some details but mostly we are ready. I have posted Hammer's character and Astrid's character with photos now. Grugg's is partial but will be completed

I will also being going over all the characters. Luke is short on skills. Doc were never completed or at least never written down.

I am contemplating giving the characters one special item each that is supernatural or designed to fight against supernatural. A single mag of silver bullets, a reliquary, a vial of holy water from the Jordan River etc etc. Not sure if this would be good or set off the game.

My vote...

Let them find the items along the way... do not give them away all free and willy-nilly like.

gaps

I'll try to fill in any gaps I have in my sheet, somewhere this weekend. Also, do you need a new visual on the front page? The castle is in ruins, so we probably need something new up there. I'll see what I can do.
