Topic: Winds and Sand Q&A
Subject: completely understandable

I knew that it would be hard for Uthgar to get into the group. plz dont take any of this as complaining.

Subject: yeah about that...

I have been trying to figure out how this whole group thing is going to work given the current situation. As far as I know, Half-orc-supreme has not caught the affections of any one's hearts, so its not as if his well being is the first thing on your minds.

we also have the fact that he is pretty introverted and seclusive. If you read his character sheet, he is a half-orc of few words. Even if he was not cold, communication would be awkward at best...

but this is all assuming that you guys try to speak to him during this small voyage. In all honesty, with so many slaves that you don't want disappearing into the slums, I would assume that little would be noted about the half-orc.

I am almost thinking about just making Uthgar spirit himself away... and then make fate (AKA DM) bring us back together. Uthgar has reasons for being in the area, though Streetlight and myself may need to iron out the wrinkles. I will give you guys until the weekend to come up with your own group decision. If not, I will decide for myself whether Uthgar will be meandering off or not.

as Uthgar is a slave, he would vote not bringing him in... then again, he would just sod off if the party decided to go through with it. I also know that as a character, he has no say in it, so this is entirely OOC.

BTW, he really does not care what you guys do with 'the others'.

PS: are we not 2nd level newbs?

Subject: Shady and silent

The two had acknowledged their battle prowess, but the sudden reminder brought a plethora of feelings: anger, regret, shame. Feelings that urged him to crack open a head in order to cope. However, this being was not the one to unleash said urges upon. So instead, the Half-orc let out a low, threatening growl and then turned to walk off with the rest of the crowd. Friend making? no, probably not. But it was better then allowing his true passions out. With his back turned to the dwarf, the half-orc only half consciously covered his mark with the remainder of his clothing.

The half-orc ruffled through the remains of the gaurds. he was looking to see if he could replace the swords he had now with these new ones that had scabbards that fit them. He also looked to see if any of the corpses had a bow and quiver of arrows. Once he looted the necessities off of these victims, he looks to his new found comrades with his one eye. He was silent, giving a simple nod of the head as a sort of gesture of acknowledgement. He awaited for the unveiling of the plan of escape.

The half-orc glares with his one good eye as he takes his sword out of the cadaver he landed on. He then unsheathes his other sword and makes a great growling sound from his throat. Taking an offensive posture, he crouches down and brings one sword before his face while the other is pointed to the ground at his side. With a low grumble, the half-orc makes for an intimidating site: crouched on a fresh and ferocious kill as well as being in an alien posture.

in all honesty, I would say Galen and Owen have the majority on this vote, as they do the most interaction. So if Galen likes it, then it is up to Owen... I could simply change her origins a bit so she is no longer an extremely divine thingy...

Subject: He attacks ffrom the skies

The half-orc runs to the east wall where the slaves were being dropped. Again he estimated a 10 ft. drop, but what was more was the group of armed men facing off against the shorter folk.

The half-orc gives one of his rare smiles as he looks with his one good eye ate the oppertunity that has presented itself before him. Like a raptor diving for the rabbit, he would fall from the sky and attack surprise these creatures.

Sheathing one of his swords, Uthgar took the other and readied it to plunge it into one of the targets below. He decided that one behind the initial ranks would do, so that there was no chance of accidentally landing on the Dwarf or Halfling instead. With that, the half-orc let gravity take its course, the point of his sword pointing stright down towards the head of his victim.

Does anyone even care that Aquarious is around? I am almost thinking of scraping her concept and pretending as if she never existed... and because we are taking so long, I might just convert my character sheet into Pathfinder now and become a pure fighter or cavalier... what say you alll.... Owen in particular.

sorry, edited that bit out. Finding it hard to visualize everything myself, can we have a "current status" page on the character page so we have something to quickly refer to as to where we are?

"Damn simpletons..." the half-orc mutters under his breath to no one in particular. Had everyone stayed quiet, everything would have went smoothly. Now someone died, and it was all thanks to an incompetent child. The two long swords he had taken off of the dead guards would work for CQC, but right now range was being used... Cover would need to be found, and soon. A volley of arrows could easily take them out at this point.
The half-orc looked down the building, wondering if it would be wise to jump down himself and prepare to fight or wait his turn. He scans the immediate are not only for how high up they are, but if there is anything that would be able to break his fall.

papers are starting to build up right now and I have only been able to do a couple replies. I am a little confused where Uthgar is at the moment, could you give me an idea where he is and perhaps some suggestions on what he could fancy to do at this point? If not, I will make a post, but it will be only on reaction to a stupid child screaming.

I shrug at the question, but give a verbal response.

"There will be those who do not want to see peace between our two races; and there is a good possibility that an attack may occur. If you come, there is the risk of injury or death." I do not want to leave on a bad note, so i decide also to add some more to this. "But there are also those who will defend you as well, and it will not just be me and my human companions here. It may be hard, but please, try to put some faith on us and Master Irthos of the kobold clan! I know we are strangers to you, we were not born or raised in this settlement; but please note that we are indeed risking our own lives for your sake!"

I hope that reminding them that we too are risking much will convert them to our cause. Aquarious, who is in my pocket at this time speaks to me.

Your words ring with much wisdom young one. She states with a tone of compassion. I wonder if these humble folk will heed them though... I shake my head at the note. If no one follows, then we may not be able to do as Irthos requested. But this did not bother me so much. The lapis lazuli noted this as well and made an inquiry on the subject of Irthos. Is it perhaps that you do not truly believe the kobold? I geve the emotion that I did not, followed by my own sentiments on politicians, kobolds, and religion. I suppose you have points there... She thought to me. The small discussion was over for now. We needed to focus on these people.

Is there any thing I can use for a weapon? Uthgar as it stands is essentially naked and weaponless, and without spells or the like, he cannot do much right now.

Aaron still had his cold glare fixed on the woman. She gave her answer. There was a pause for a minute; he knew that the suspense was building in these three. Arron did this purposefully, he wanted to make a lasting impression; he also enjoyed watching others squirm. But at long last, he quickly flipped his firearms into his holsters and strode past them.

The hitman stopped when he was a few strides past them. He pulled out a card from his pocket and flicked it over his shoulder.
"You have proven your worth both in dedication and intelligence. You should feel privileged. If you ever need a job done, here is my contact information. If you don't want it, destroy it. If someone else contacts me through this card, I will hunt you down." He was about to ready to leave when he decided to leave on a different note. "I may have underestimated you, and perhaps I over looked my own abilities..."
It was the closest thing the man had ever given to an apology; but he did not see much wrong in giving it to these three. The pain was unbearable now, and he started to feel his conscious fade. He wondered, was this death creeping up on him? Would his patron finally taking from him what he took from so many other miserable creatures?
Aaron fell to his knees with a sickening crack, all his wieght went into that landing. And then he fell face forward and did a perfect face plant on the tile floor. Everything went black.

Aaron's eyes were cold as he glared at the woman. It surprised him how arrogant (or ignorant) she was. He did not change the fix of his gaze as he responded to her stupid question.
"Six minutes." A moment later he decided to add a bit more on the rules to the game. "Your peons have nothing to do with this outrage. They may leave now if they wish; however, if they intervene and try to aid you in any way, their lives will be in peril as well."
Now their fate was in their own hands. Aaron wondered with a feeling shadowing glee as to what the outcome would be... it even made him forget the pain surging throughout his body.

Her retort was unsatisfactory. Who gave a damn about the cops? There was a reason they are termed as 'PIGS': fat useless pieces of meat that are made to be nothing more then slaughter. He shook his head.
"Answer or perish."

So now that a loose alliance has been set, the half-orc decides it is time to see how strong it actually is. He grunts to the dwarf that conscripted him.
"Do you have a weapon I can use? I wont be much help if a fray breaks out..."
