I'll do my best; this is really the first true campaign I'm participating in on RDInn, since I don't call an arena much of a campaign, at least in the way of character storylines.
I'll try not to alter Linnix's character too much, but Zonk didn't leave all that much for me to go on, so I do have to improvise some aspects.

But be gentle, I haven't posted to any games in over a year now, so I'm a tad on the side of rusty, as well as being a bit awkward, as usual, when taking over a character. There will be a few slight changes to the character, 1st of all being her name. But all that info will come with my postings...shld have my first post in today.

with your darkvision you can see the sloped ground goes 60 feet or more beyond the scoe of your vision. The cavern looks natural, from years of erosion and windwear, coupled with sorratic workings from tools and other man-made methods. you can see that abou 30ft in the cavern there are two small alcoves leading off each side, but cannot see their contents.

I've been wondering this for a while... but if I increase Linnix's int at level 8 (to 12, modifier of +1 then), does Linnix get a bonus language?
And, even though I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this, does Linnix gain a skill point for the prior character levels because of the change of modifier? I'm pretty sure it's no, but just wondering.
Umm... I think that's it. It might be right in the book, and I just didn't find it... I hope I didn't just miss it *sweatdrop*

I'm not actually sure about the language thing.

I am sure about the skills though. Raising it to 12 won't retroactively give you more skill points. You'll just gain a single bonus skill point at level 8, and then another at level 9 etc.

It's what makes making a high-level PC/NPC/Villain so fiddly (especially if it's a mage or bard who would have stat bumps).

for all intents and puropses, whether it's my house rule or an actual one... acheiving a higher intelligence mod wil garner yo a new language, however it must be one that another pc or npc can teach you, or you have ready access to.. Ie you find along the adventure the complete elven to common dictionary lol.


By all means feel free to rp wanting to learn new languages or asking here (or checking character sheets) what languages might be available for tutlage.

Can I get a marching order or ideas for one please?

Bartholomew will be staying outside, watching the steeds... so all I need are the Pc's.. Elesia will enter if asked, or she can stay with the horses as well. (alot of steeds for one man should anything hapen)

How wide is the tunnel? Is it enough to march 2 abreast or do we have to go single file?
