However... since your tongue is what got the brundt of the Gere-Gerbil combo... you loose your tongue. Which is interesting because it is hard to facelick the newcomers (and unfortunate regulars). You revert to having Grugg lick them for you, which is bad because he doesn't use listerine and ends up scaring off all the newcomers.

I wish I had a week to spend in the Smithsonian.

For inexplicable reasons the Smithsonian closes down and locks up for a week straight while you're using the restroom facility. You are consequently locked in for that week.

I wish I had telepathy.

Do you know how simply awesome it would be to be locked up in the Smithsonian for a week? Are the guards gone? Can I touch things? Ohh! Meri wants to touch! *jumps up and down* Meri wants to touch!

I think I might just faint if I got to put on Ol' Honest Abe's hat...

How about I make you Telekentic? That always seemed a better power anyway. If you are telepathic you might just learn what everyone really thinks about you... (well everyone else, I you). Telekentic means you can throw pies in their faces. Maybe the two should go together come to think of it. Although it would be a dead give away when you walked down the street half a bakery floating in your wake.

The genie attempts to grant your wish but then fritzes out and explodes. Another genie bring you a consolatory cup of coffee from starbucks explaining that your wish is ungrantable because a Meri that could concentrate would be boring and the higher ups won't let you be boring.

I wish There was more people to throw my telekinetic pies at.

But because there are so many people Resorces are used up and the planet starts to die, All the most important people get to go up in a rocket to find a new home but not you, you die in a freak hurricane.

But as it was leaving orbit I hit the rocket with a pie causing it to crash. Welcome back to earth third rock from the sun.

I wish I had x-ray vision. Real see the bones not just under the clothes X-Ray vision.

Now the only job you are really qualifed for is airport security. Which means you spend all day debating if grandma has a gun or a hip replacement, dealing with the smelly socks of worn out travelers, listening to the 'lovely' airport announcements and possibly getting blown up by a terrorist.

Granted every inn mate gets a happy new year, but because there must be balance the members of Mystic Realms all get really crappy new years.

The shadows do indeed run things, and it is terrible because they block all the light and the plants cannot grow. No plants means no corn and without corn there is no food. We all die, but the shadows go on.

I wish I had more time to study up on all the obscure nerd-dome categories.
