Kas only put her sword between the the man and Aelistra. She did not point it at you. It was just to block any attempt to strike.

Magical items can be adressed in game, but the bantering about who get's what who wants to bet what towards the items is to be done here.

Apart from that... Linnix might grab one of the short swords in the party supplies since she never got a real chance to see how wielding one would be.

I don't think Linnix would directly ask for any of the identified magic items, since she feels others would likely use it rather than her (and have more reason to).

and only a couple bolts are magical, and Ginafae mentioend before in the Q/a I beleive to let you have them (as she's the only other character who can use a hand crossbow)

I see no reason why not to allow Linnix to claim them.

The man, JAred black swears convincingly that they had no camp, they merely went from place to place as work or time allowed. As is indicative of his lack of camping gear, or even means to start a fire, it seems he's telling the truth.

AS to where his comrades would have run, he figures Adam (the one with linnix's sword) probably ran home to his parent's homestead, thinking that with Jared captured he'd be free to live out his life on the farm, as tough a job as that is with the current monster infestation.

As for Elliot, the caster on horseback, he was always a shifty one, and he really has no idea where he'd be off too.

Well if no one else is going to claim it, Aelistae would like the ring of protection.

On another note, I'll post a reply to Loriel tomorrow (alongside some other stuff).

Loriel did not say she would not ask for anythign only that it could wait until morning when we could perhaps get together and decide who gets what. After all of all that has been found Loriel has nothing from any loot take except money. She gave the spear and the shield to others, Linnix had the sword even though she lost it.

Loriel's thoughts on the matter of who should get what are to protect our front line fighters as best as possible given them the best of the weapons and shield and armor and such. That would be for Xaris, Artanis and probably Kas as well. Next protect our magic users Elesia, and Aelistae. Loriel wears light armor and is a bow specialist she she could use the RoP 1 or the Bracer of Armor 1. but she would arm the magic users before her with these items since they are restricted from wearing armor. Most likely she would not find the cloak useful in her line of work as it is too incumbering.

With an auction system it's a fairly simple process. If you'd like it you bid for it.

That said, I think we can all agree that Artanis should get the shield (unless she doesn't want it). I also think that Xaris should take the spear. Given that it steals HP to do more damage, it's the perfect weapon for a barbarian.

As for the rest of the loot, I'm really not going to get in someone's way if they're desperate for an item. But if no one is then Aelistae will bid on the ring.
