Thanks from me, too, Ginafae !
I had written to Kaelyn to reserve a spot in case someone dropped out or couldn't play.
He got generous, or I got lucky.
Or both.
Either way, I'll take it. And also just in time for the fun. And also with another "chica con machisma" ...

Aside from Xaris...
Of the main group With the sound plan made, am I to presume you'll all be using ranged weapons (from within 30ft of yon targets but off into the foliage?)
Or are those such as Artanis and Aelistae waiting with swords drawn for such enemies to flee passed / into their trap.
Since I've perceived it as an active simultaneous decisive strike I'm thinking ranged weapons to begin with, but when I can do without guess work the better for all.
SO pending those answers, or tonight when I wake, I'll likely update for everyone.

Sounds good to me.... : )
That plan actually sounds pretty good to me. Sounds like it could work to dispatch as quickly as possible, while assuring none get out and run for help.

Shooting
Is it possible to shoot from where she is? As an Archer she would be moving through the goblin territory with with an arrow notched in her bow.

...
Aelistae's intention was to go ranged yes. If any gobbos wander near her, though, she'll probably switch to melee (seeing as she can drop her bow and draw her sword as a free action).

Failed will save
DA, I think I failed my will save vs. your suggestion. When I started writing this last post I didn't have a flashback scene in mind, but I got about halfway through and realized that was where I was heading.
Imitation is a form flattery, or something like that, right?
Kaelyn, it looks like my subconscious is giving DarkAutumn a CD point this round.

I have to make note...
That the sheet I have for Dylan shows him having only a suit of armor, a +1 rapier, a violin wand of CLW and a spell component pouch, no equipment no coin, most notably No ranged weapon... hmm

UPDATE!
Well after working all night and being beat, I think a little into 4 pages of writing AND a shiny new (or refurbished) map is pretty good. So enjoy and leave thoughts comments or concerns here while I take my well earned sleep.

About that Character Sheet
Let's see, I have about 80 Gold left. Correctly no ranged weapon. About anything else, that's pretty much right.
Also- a violin wand of CLW? XD that sounds great.
EDIT: I figured that I should also mention that thanks to the level up, my HP now rests at 35 total (I love my Constitution)

Just a question about the last round
After smiting the one goblin, the other two backed out of immediate melee range, correct? What I'm really asking is how whether there is anything close enough to AoO me for spellcasting?

Bah..humbug...
Aelistae will probably cast silence to hush the sound of the war drum, but it might be a little too late. What we want to avoid is lingering too long at the camp, so if we don't manage to kill off the orcs in the next few rounds, we might want to consider retreating.
I'm not so worried about killing off the goblins, since they are pushovers. ...After all even Dylan killed one.

Hey!
I might take offense to that if I didn't know how true it was XD. Yeah, the goblins are not the greatest worry here, unless they swarm me.

spellcasting
With your 5' back and theirs in kind, you are now free from immediate AoO's for spellcasting. Even in melee you can opt for a defensive cast which with a successful concentration check prevents Aoo's as well.
