Catering woes
I feel for you Jo and I were the autocrates of a feast for 125 people, of 4 removes with 16 period dishes a church kitchen and volunteer help that was not in evidence for most of the prep and cooking.
I also cooked for 80 kids at a camp when the cook kitchen trailer failed to make to site on time over a wood fire with four concrete bricks with a flat piece a metal over it.
Such fun. I had when younger.

Heya
Wow, I didn't think the game would get moving again. Good news though.

Just read the update. Anyone have any ideas on how to deal with the rats? Summon a really hungry cat maybe?
Seriously though, I don't think Aelistae has anything that would be of use.
On second thoughts, maybe we could try and make a bigger fire via Talus' blasts (using oil or something)?

Hmm...
I'm afraid there's not much I can do at this point... and I don't have any oil right now either ^^;
Hmm... I do have a vague idea in mind right now, not that I expect it to do anything, but trying things is better than just staying still and letting the rats do all the damage they want
I'll probably post tomorrow; it's bed time for me right now... if not tomorrow, then hopefully on or before the weekend.

Truth that may lead to insight.
When I write the modules and scenarios, I do so with the consideration of 2 main things.
1, I scale the scenario based on the total group size fragmenting or seperating is fine, I often encourage it to allow more focus on the growth of the characters It adds some realism to the world, but doesn't change the world.. Meaning whether 1 man or an army enters the dragon's cave doesn't change the fact that there's a dragon living in said cave. It's all a matter of how prepared the group may.. or as life would have it, may not be for any given situation.
2. Any challenges I put into the game CAN be overcome, I take detailed looks at the complete resources that the players have at their disposal... however it is up to you the players to determine who or what resources are utilized best for any given challenge.

I have a big meeting
with some corporate hot shots at work today... And it's right smack dab in the middle, which means I need to catch a nap before, and after... leaving little time to update for brianna or jozan and his brother.
I'll try to post if not today than tonight on my break, if not defiantely tomorrow.

What about trying the pied piper trick? ie Dylan 'fascinating' the rats with his sexy voice?
Of course it's not something Aelistae can really suggest in character.

*Mischievous Eyebrow Wiggle*
Sexy voice eh? That certainly might cause complications in-character. I'll check out the rules behind becoming the centre of attention for a swarm of ravenous, mindless rodents, but it sounds like a sound idea so far.

Of course a million rats might try to hump Dylan's leg instead...
Seriously, though, I will try to get a post up today. I'm really busy at the moment, and I didn't factor in the possibility of the game getting back on its feet.

Posted finally. Not that exciting a post given that Aelistae is just swinging her sword. But it's better than nothing.

Yep...
I got my post in too... not much really, but it's a start... and hopefully Linnix will be able to do more next round...
At the very least, her little light should be able to be seen by the others to help pinpoint her location... or so I hope ^^
