No sharp objects for Kith.  No belts.  No shoelaces.  Etc, etc.

There's lots of baby mommas in the world. How many people get to be godmommas for real?

Heh.  When the DM admits that he is both setting you up for a trap and railroading you into said trap.

Aw, who am I kidding?  You're not being railroaded.  You guys leave now, I bet they let you go.  Too bad about Kith, sure, but good luck and thanks for the fish, amirite?

And the silver screens have already confirmed that it takes more than the birth of a baby.  The little abominations are an affront to creation, and tend to die easily.  So even if our widdwe rogue gets to carry "A" baby, who says that Davena is right and it's "THE" baby?  Shucks, even if it is, there are probably YEARS to go before the death god can fullly manfest.  Plenty of time to die in normal adventures before then.  Who needs this crap?  Leave now!

Maybe the evil DM is setting a trap.  I mean, of course the evil DM is setting a trap, hello, this entire ADVENTURE is a trap.  Shuh.

Maybe the evil DM is recognizing that he took the only effective means of opening locks away from the party through no fault of their own, so he's trying to work with them.

Nah, it's the trap thing.  They should turn around right now, and absolutely not investigate the cells/torture area/whatever the heck this thing ahead of them is!  I'm certain that allowing that priest to run free will have ZERO negative implications on their health and success.

The party gives chase to the fleeing priest, Ch'dau leading the way with blooklust pumping in his ears.  You hurry down the more narrow hallway until the group comes to an iron gate blocking the way.

The greenish glow seems slightly brighter beyond the gate.  The hallway beyond the gate opens up into a larger chamber with filthy, blackened straw scattered here and there on the ground.  A broken, stained wooden table stands just inside the room; it may be wise to not dwell on what caused the stains.

Further in, you can make out a series of smaller iron gates on both sides of the chamber.  Most of the smaller gates stand open, though one or two are closed. If you listen closely, you can make out the sound of weeping from further in, and you are certain that you hear a cry of pain at least once.

Upon further inspection, an interesting fact leaps out at you - the iron gate that blocks your path appears to be slighly adjar.  It would appear that in his haste to flee, the priest neglected to secure the latching mechanism properly.

Technically, the hand taking didn't happen until a Greyhound bus ride nearly a week later.  The rainstorm was just me being awkward and missing the huge flashing "LET'S MAKE OUT" signals.

Thing is, I can TOTALLY identify with poor Cedric.  I was the nerdy teenager.  A pretty girl could ask what time it was, and I'd be tongue tied.

My wife and I got caught in a pop up rainstorm, took shelter from it in an empty building, all alone.  After she had been heavily flirting with my obtose self for a couple of days (at least).

I stood there and made idle chitchat.

She eventually had to physically take my hand and clamp it in her own for me to get the idea, .

Bingo, good catch!  The header link needs a more absolute path.  I can fix that easily.

There are also some janky issues with the header/sidebar stuff in the various article pages.  Hrm, that needs more attention.

Twelve?  Good googly moogly!  I thought my batch was big... you'd probaby need my big brewing pot (44 quarts) to do that one safely.

This recipe has evolved over the years a bit as I toss this or that to see how it goes.  It's actually really good if you add a bottle of stout or similar dark beer to it.

Yep, daddy blog.  Wait till I put some other sewing thing up again.  Maybe I'll finish Gideon's quilt at some point.

Chili is easy peasy.  Brown ground beer/onions, add canned stuff, add a few seasonings.  Let me know how it goes!

Heh, you probably will want to scale my recipe down a bit, though, unless you do it for a party or whatnot.

Today's post shares my actual, honest to goodness, award winning chili recipe.  If you like chili, you will enjoy this.
