Topic: Loaded Dice: Strip #6 Subject: heh
You missed it. They DO play in Audalis. However, the references have been subtle - no mention yet of the word "Audalis".
Strip #2: Amy wants to play a Chindari ranger. The Chindari are a nomadic human race in western Antaron.
Strip #6: Ray's character is a Drannese knight. The empire of Drannon is one of the "five kingdoms" of Antaron.
Strip #6: Amy references the Chindari again, and includes some of their language and terms in her background.
Strip #6: Rich's character is a cleric of Solanis, the Audalis deity of light and life.
Strip #6: Brad's character is a Sylvari bladesinger. While bladesingers are not necessarily unique to Audalis, the fact that he refers to his character as a "sylvari", rather than an "elf", is a giveaway.

I believe that was the party's rationale for not including a rogue, and going instead with extra muscle.
Of course, all that muscle won't help if Steve does decided to pull out one of his "hideous traps"...

New strip is up! Was a lot of fun to get going, the autopost script gave me lip this time around, but it's working now.
Here you go: the first look at the "in game" characters.

And here, I thought that http://www.rdinn.net/view_topic.php?topicid=1937 accomplished that.
Plus, I renamed the category.
What else do you want?

If'n you like 'em, post in 'em!
For instance, almost nobody has posted about us adding another comic strip on Monday. Not that we're putting up another Loaded Dice update (which we will) - we're bringing in a new strip.

Lighting trains? Scythes?
FYI, since the strip is based at least somewhat off of a gaming group I participated in, the system is houseruled 2nd edition.
In my day, we didn't use fancy "critical threat" tables! Nossir! We rolled natural twenties, the DM invented some crazy crap on the fly, AND WE LIKED IT!

Topic: advertising and affiliates Subject: we have active ads!
We have active ads, as you can surely see. If you see an ad that looks interesting, please give 'em a click and support our advertisers.
Understand, we do NOT want any sort of click fraud - these ads pay per day, anyway, not per click - but I'm sure they would appreciate it if you give them some love.

Topic: advertising and affiliates Subject: advertising and affiliates
As I'm sure you have noticed, I have made some changes to our affliates buttons above. Namely, I've relocated them lower on the pages (since the other affiliates do this, as well) and replaced the bar with one that takes paid advertising.
Of course, seeing as how we're new to the network, we won't make anything off of it right now, but I'm hoping that will change. My idea for the time being is to take the pennies we make off of advertising and reinvest them in our own ads to drive more traffic here.
I am also seriously looking at our Google ads, since they seem to be less topical of late - and they make almost nothing for us.
