Subject: Step 10

Having used your Honda Transteleportal Device to get to store so fast, discover that the price of an electric toothbrush is far to extravagant for your annual needs. Purchase Regular Toothbrush, Kite, Weather Watcher's Handguide, and a History of B. Franklin's greatest achievements. Lastly for this epic step, glance at the rubber glove rack on the way out, wondering why it seems like you have forgotten something.

Subject: Miran

Miran almost didn't even realize that Percifeer's actions were entirely intentional until it dawned on him that she picked up the quill in an abnormal fashion. He grinned and glanced at Llammoth aside him, enjoying the last of her swiped chocolatey treat. He paused in stride, having not noticed before. Why had he not done so when the opportunity was there? Percy scampered past him and he proceeded to follow, with a slightly injured pride in his ignorance of an opportunity passed.

In such manner sulked he until upon the bridge across the Thunder River he heard Pio ask for verification of something he was trying to remember.

"Isn't that the name of the place Goddfrey said Dory said she was going to?"

"Looks like it to me." Percifeer replied before Miran had the chance.

"That I can second," he says, though even less necessary than his sister's statement. Though as for that, he didn't want anyone forgetting that he had a knack for memory, so speak he did.

Joshua > Kraken > 5ft step to A10 up behind the lil' Freak > Attack Freekin with Trident

Joshua saw the little gnome fly into a furious bloodlust after Azure SKye. She had already shot at him and her pet was trying to trip him. Assuming the pet fails in this attempt against the barbaric creature, Joshua holds his Trident firm in his hand and steps in after the gnome. He takes aim and thrusts his trident at the back of his former team Illithid mate. Of course team Illithid is comprised of different people altogether now.

Through use of the context clues that I have been taught to pick out since Gr. 8 combined with building upon gerneral understandings, I have come only steps closer to discovering what a certain term is used to indicate.

OOC: Tag Everyone

I think I kind of know, but I would like to ask to make certain everything is clear, what does "Tag -Char or Group involved-" mean anyway?

Subject: I suppose I've met the requirement of 'active' if to lesser degrees than others

Miran half listens as he inspects Goddfrey's work on the cake. It was really something to behold. He dragged his attention away from that long enough to look all around the man's workshop; his kitchen. The two furnaces were a sign that business was good, if one managed to ignore the cake set out on the table. The wizard reprimands himself for not visiting Goddfrey more often, after all it's not that he could claim that he couldn't find out.

He turned his attention to the conversation at the mention of the Freeman's Way. At first he was tempted to say, "I've heard of that place," but then he stops to consider the statement. He may have heard it mentioned somewher though the chance that he's heard anything anywhere is much higher than the chance that he chose to log it into his memory. He decided to keep quiet until Goddfrey's clients hailed him, -another sign that our brother has done well for himself,- he thought. He took a loaf of bread and inhaled it deeply, taking in a stronger dose of the smell that constantly permeates a baker's home.

Not to belittle the man's achievements or work, Miran had to think to himself how the life of a baker suited Goddfrey. It is often said that any given individual has portions of two individual gift, brain, or brawn. It all too often proved to be true with the sight of frail scholars and slow-minded brutes. To add to that, Goddfrey's kind-hearted nature forbade him from the life led by one who took advantage of such a gift of brawn. In the end the simplicity of a baker suited him. -I bet it doesn't hurt his resolve that he has a large supply of breads and pastries on hand when he is feeling up to taking a lunch break.-

Then I shall be the two hundred thirtieth person to post last, but under arguable interperetation, win.

Lysk after all is no longer the one to have posted last, so she looses the title of having had posted last for she has no longer been the last one to post, even if she was the first one to claim and loose the title of the first to have done so.

In otherwords, I believe, being the first one to post last after cdn lost the title of last to post, I win.

Round 4-5 Joshua> Draws Trident and straps shield

"Regretably we've been paired against each other, Freak," Joshua says as tamely as possibe knowing the usual nature of the title 'freak'. He draws his Trident off his back and straps the large steel shield into a ready position.

"Funny how it works out hey? I do believe this pooch had been dining on our bodies just after the last match, and now I must team up with her to kill you. No hard feelings." He sticks the tines of his weapon into the ground until it is time to get started.

(If anything noteworthy occures between now and the next 30 seconds, I'll add to here, otherwise I'm ready)

Subject: *drool* errm.... nice cake!

Miran greets the girl with a slight bow as if to make up for the hostility shown by his sister from another bloodline. When the good baker appeared out of the back of his store concealed under a layer of flour, complete with a bit of chocolate icing, Miran smiled and waved boyishly.

"Your cakes must be decadent, if you can't even wait to put them on the shelf before consuming them. It is good to see you brother, you don't stop by as much anymore. There has been trouble with the orphanage, as I'm sure you've heard. Our question is simple, have you heard anything more?" Llammoth said. The Baker's mouth plunged and swung on its hinges at this news, "What do you mean, the Orphanage is in trouble? I haven't heard anything. Been busy baking bread and running the shop. Keira here helps me out though."

He invited them into the back where the culprit that bestowed his chin with the icing smudge lay on the worktable across from the furnace doors. "So, what is wrong?" he asked upon closing the door.

Miran took it upon himself to answer from what Pio told him. "Well, the story goes thus, the 'Honourable' Councillor Velch has misplaced a pretty emerald statue of his and feels the need to place the blame on our home, holding our father responsible for the apparant theft." He places a clear mocking emphasis on the Councillor's title, cementing his feelings for the man.

Miran left his ale at half-empty after he had about as much as he could stomach, leaving it close enough that whoever else wanted to finish it could do so.

As he watched the map unfold he considered memorizing it, but settled for remembering the chosen course.
After that he readied himself for adventure out into the streets. First they were to talk to the Innkeep, so he could afford to wait for a while. He gathered his cloak around himself while Percy scrubbed the table free of her chalk-drawings.

Miran inclined to follow Percy after her work was done in freeing the less than clean table of chalk with her lesser than clean rag. He tried to listen even if he paid little attention to the exchange compared to reviewing the illusions he had prepared for the day.

or at least deific identities. I don't think Pelor is a member of the Forgotten Realms Pantheon. I don't know if I'm just being a fool and you're aware of this etc. I just thought I'd make some comment or another about it. (Llolth either, but she's one of those deities that kind of float in the background of our mind).

Not knowing what Domains you have, (or even if Favoured Souls get domains) I can't think of any other deity for your needs at the moment.

I've recently read the Trilogy, 'His Dark Materials' otherwise known as the series in which 'The Golden Compass' begins. As a quick note, I did not start reading it just because of the controversy surrounding it. In the end it was a great time.

I'm also just finished 'Beka Cookper: Terrier' by Tamora Pierce, which tells the story of a girl in a fictional-mythical-medieval setting (so I don't know how to exactly classify it) via journal entries. Rebeckah is a Guardswoman-in-training. Pretty nice read.

Currently half-way or so through the sequel to Inkheart, Inkspell. Pretty good too so far.

Unfortunately, he doesn't realize, and neither do you, that like Blanche's late husband Allan in the play A Streetcar Named Desire, he's still Gay. Not even just really happy either. The knowledge breaks you eventually (as it did Blanche, some side-effects may vary from symptoms shown) and things play out from there in a new mass-popular hit, scribed by his ex-(husband I'm assuming) who profits from your tragedy.

Now with all that having been written out, what could I possibly wish for...?

Joshua's spirit hangs above his body for but a few seconds prior to blasting away his final resting place, or that is what they taught him. Not to say he paid much attention to that anyway. He wonders for a second if thing will work differently for he is ensured ressurrection before the next battle.

Subject: MIR-ann

Miran took himself a seat at the table for six. He nodded to Pio as the copper-skinned man set the beer on the table before him. When he returned, Miran was taking in his drink in fairly small portions, by start constrast with Llammoth who was just raising her mug for a long dive.

Miran wanted to speak, but was hesitant, what does one say to 'family' after an extended period away? Especially to those who remained within the same city?

Pio took a pull of his mug, remaining silent after, prefering that some one else talk. MIran turned slightly to him, thinking back to when the man left, he himself nearly twelve at the time. Soon enough Pio recognised the need to start the conversation, directing himself at Miran and tried to pick up where he had left off.

“As you know, Father has found himself in some serious trouble with some folks higher. Specifically, Councilor Velch is missing an emerald statue of some kind and he has accused our father as masterminding the theft. The good councilor is looking to get his statue back and has threatened to claim the orphanage as his own should his property not be returned to him within the week.”

Pio paused, taking another pull from his mug as his ears were assailed by Miran's outrage, "This is inconceivable, this counciler has dealth a mortal insult to his elder! Why had I been present, I would have struck the man down where he stood." His voice already returning to normal levels by the end of his challenge, knowing full well, as do his companions, that no such thing would have happened.

Pio continued, “We figured we’d stop in here first to see if folks around here have heard anything regarding the matter… that, and to finish making our plans.” Smiling at Miran, “So, you’re just in time.”

The knight was about to start working out the plan with the group, but decided against it. “Maybe we should talk a bit about us first though… catch up a bit. How about it, Miran? What have you been up to over the last few years?” Miran appeared about to answer but Llammoth had chosen to return focus to their task. “Pio… This is not the time for social ambiguity."

Miran glanced at Llammoth and sent a quick smile, "I've been in and around the city mostly, though our sister is right, we should be addressing as many possible angles to this dillemma as quickly as we can. Whatever lead we find may be gone by the time we are finished catching-up."

Topic: So who was your first?
Subject: Just a few days before I went into Gr. 11

If you don't count the small handfull of never used d20 Modern characters (and in some cases, used but left after so long, such as Cieala, irritant of Black Dragons at 4th level, budding Telepath)

My friend who introduced me to a slowly growing love, d20 Modern, came over one night with a massive pack of new books, telling me: This is the Daddy of d20 Modern, this is the latest version of Dungeon and Dragons. My immediate reaction was: That still exists?!? (having seen older books from my other friend's mother's gaming days)

Up until that fateful day, I had always thought thad D&D had left us, but was still used in computer games and such. Here before me was proof that you could still play a kick-ass game on paper. But yet have I to introduce my first Characters under this game.

The friend who brought 3.5e into my life (I know a lot of peeps don't like it, but I was started with it) had a story that he had been working on. My brother and I played two characters that were needed to act out the next part.

Ca-pace, an High Elven cleric of the Twin Deities of Healing and Medicine was my character. She refused to weild weapons or armor, but we were in a town known as Mill, recently stuffed and overfilled with zombies. I immediately became very fond of my Turn Undead abilities. My bro played the brother who had adopted her, Garn, a Dwarven Prince (don't worry, the Elf-Dwarf friendship is NOWHERE near as cliche as it sounds, the cleric was found by dwarves when she got lost, and in turn introduced a religion for her goddesses into their society. It was great for a while, but she was still not my first creation, she was my friend's creation.

If you thought you were going to get away with reading about an Elven cleric, you were sorely mistaken, for I don't let anyone go without knowing the whole story, throwing in any other insignificant details.

The next day, when another of my friend's came over, and two of my brother's friends. We left the story campaign aside in the presence of more players, most of which didn't know the Story. When I came home from Gr. 11 Registration, my friend had created a Half-Orc Barbarian by the name of Keiji (who later tore a crocodile in half through DM's discretion over a really nice Grapple check, with two others of us floating unconscious in the water) My younger brother had made a Half-Elf Sorceress by the name of Kendra, who was looking for 'shiney rocks' in the grass at Keiji's orders when I arrived. I was immediately inspired to create yet another female character (I like to stick out of the norm sometimes, even if I always do it the same way) Miranda, human (the first yet) Monk.

The campaign continues on still today, both my friend Keiji (who had the first taste of this here too) got books later, my brothers friends also both took up initiative to get books too. I have taken over the campaign (albeit VERY slowly considering we don't often get much done during 'sessions' and I forget to think up plots and dungeons before hand. In spite of a burning urge to keep talking about Keiji's wonderfully hilarious antics (the fact that he didn't swim, he leapt off the sewer platform all the way to the above mentioned crocodile) but I should let you go. After all, there is a quote out their about the length of a report defending itself against the possibility of being actually read.
