what kind of abilities? If thou speaks of the domain powers, they follow the Turn Undead 5/day listing in the Special abilities section, which doth exist beneath the Feats section. (studying Shakespeare's Hamlet recently). Thy domains are listed where is does begin the section on my magic, and domain spells are listed beside the level, separated from thy regular spells.

Edit: and note, the background, being sparse on details, shall be improved upon within the near future, time allowing.

I had fully expected to be done today. I've decided to be a deity-less cleric in favor of revering the strength of the land (not so much druid as worshipper). I once did not like non-deity clerics so I just want to make sure that it is fine here. I'll keep working and I may still get finished.

I could say Granted: You're fired, but that has been used already and it doesn't really apply.

Granted, but the overnight Thunderstorm keeps waking you up and there is a three car pile-up on *Insert Major Road on route to Work* around Noon when there wasn't one around 8.

I wish I could use magic.

I'm just glad that we didn't get anymore arguments over some of these answers. Especially over religion, arguments about religious beliefs can get pretty fiery. Take a look at most of the big wars in history XD anyway, I have no major questions right now ..................................
.................................................................................................................................................................................................................... oh, to say something about NB's shadow question, it depends on which shadow, one's darker, wilder side or one's personal light-blot following them? g'night anyway (where ever you are, it's 10:52pm here, so read this first thing in the morning and tell your neighbor good night, because I am sleeping ^.^

Anyway, thanks Fan for clarifying 'Humane organic meat' and I hope that doesn't restart the argument with just those three words. Also, from what I know, 'Vegetarian' only means not eating meat, while the more extreme form is called 'Vegan' (say Vee-gan) who do not eat anything that came from an animal. I can understand and accept Vegetarians, however, to me Vegans are seriously lacking a lot of nutrients (realizes that nutrients were a part of the big arguement) Wow, I've double jinxed the peace and quite.

oh, and MLSD, those are YOUR dreams that you are asking about.

Topic: (least) Favorite Character Death
Subject: Does it count if the char was barely saved? Then used in a black summoning ritual?

d20 Modern campaign, my Charismatic Hero Cieala had just entered into the forest at the edge of town, known to be infested with something wierd. So armed with her sword cane and her 'Wild Talent' of Far Hand she ventured off without her brother (played by my brother), the Strong Hero (I forget what he was doing at the time). Any way, two Mothfolk warriors suddenly attack out of the trees. Cieala whipped her sword out of her umbrella as the first swooped past her. Miss. The thing hit her and did some amount of damage. these things are not very hard, even a charismatic hero could take one on fairly easily. Now at 8 Hp, the other also gets to attack before her, and it does, guess what? maximum damage: 8

It was pretty crappy, I had never actually semi-roleplayed worth a crap before this campaign. Next morning (because we ended the game on that note) Cie's brother comes into the forest to look for me. He finds me about to be sacraficed in some mothfolk ritual. He bursts in there (the subtle art of a little brother's strong hero) and starts swinging his weapon at everything. Shortly he is not doing to well, but thankfully during all this I wake up. I use my Far Hand Wild Talent to pick up my sword, laying a little ways away on the forest floor. My first instinct is to use my telekinetically controlled sword slice the rope that I am hanging from. Bad Idea, there is a bonfire down there, so instead I slice up the bonds on my feet. Meanwhile dear brother is barely fending off his attackers. eventually I manage to swing my self enough to get a grip on the tree and escape the remainder of my bonds. In an attempt to get down I end up dropping off the tree to the forest floor. by the time I get my weapon ready, dear brother has just slain the last of the mothfolk. Next thing to happen is a black ooze..... oozes out of the fissure created by the summoning. It is a Satanic Ichor for those who need to know. it immediately possesses me and entralls my brother. We make it though eventually with the help of our NPC friend and a little thing called electricity (note that the Satanic Ichor has some sort of Damage Reduction I think).

Then there's the time I got a black dragon angry.... A big one..... but that's another story.

What is organic meat, and how is it animal friendly?
I mean if it is like tofu, then I understand, but if it is actualy meat then the part I don't understand how animal friendly the meat can really be you know? ^-^ so anyway, that's all I have to say.... it's been a while since I've actually posted.

Why is nearly every article in the DM's Corner and Player's Guild for AD&D? Hasn't anyone thought to update them for 3.5E? or even add an article? How long ago was AD&D? I first got the books at 3.5 so I'm not sure (though I've been playing d20 Modern before that, so I knew what to expect)

sorry, needed to rhyme but anyway, yes that was 'for the thread' and less so related to D&D. really interesting answers we have coming here hey? I wonder if there are grizzlies in Alberta? I have to go hunt one down and pose him the question. Unless he's got a RDI account.... the possibilities.
btw
If anyone will check the recruitment forum, I'm sure you'll find something by me... I'm looking for a little D&D action (not that it hasn't been fun chatting) but I'd like to join a game (note 'a', not many, I don't have the patience for that many more ^.^

Ok, I was really just looking for other's opinions on that. The improvised instrument was a good idea ^-^ which makes me think about improvised weapons, which makes the think about that one time...... too bad you can't say no if you don't have a reason.

my friend's Half-Orc Barbarian really put a new light into the intro to improvised weapons: "Sometimes objects not crafted to weapons nonetheless see use in combat"

I wonder if they had grappled enemy skeletons in mind, that one certainly saw use in combat. Moving along.

here's a thought for the thread:
Why were humans 'chosen' as the superior race?

that's because no one likes bards, they're a jack of all trades. they can cast only mediocre magic, they have a relatively low Base attack Bonus, they get most skills that other classes would be better at and their Bardic music only somewhat makes up for the lacking in other areas

Subject: My Life is a Question

the problem with these types of posts is that there is so much of it, you can never tell if your question has been asked/answered already.

This question (well two now that I've thought about it) is pertaining to D&D, yes I know I have no other life, AND SO YOUNG TOO!!!

anyway, can Bards use their music ability without their instument? if no, then don't vocal bards have an advantage there?

AND, I don't think it really specifies, but I live by the rule that you need at least one free hand to cast spells.......
