Topic: Limerick game!
Subject: Limerick game!

I expected there to already be one!

Well, though you all probably know how they work, here's a quick recap on rules.

Rhyming is:
A
A
B
B
A

One person posts two lines, and the next finishes the limerick. In true Irish tradition, the more foul language, the better the limerick. (yeah, I did just invent that.)
Crappy example:

One day there was a bard at the bar,
His music was as lovely as the stars,

But one day it was crap,
because his lute string had snapped,
and thus from the tavern was he barred!

The lie is that you're in the Junior Honour Society (whatever that is), isn't it?

1) I speak English, French, Spanish and Russian.
2) I'm 25 years old.
3) I have more RP ideas than time or players.

Forum, as I've never done tabletop, and you can roleplay better in a story-like environment. Tabletop leads to metagaming, metagaming leads to less-roleplaying, and less roleplaying leads to... er...

Spanish or Portuguese?

... long time since this came up. I had to look up the original, then the original-original. Good choice in picking the Apocalyptica version instead, better feel to it.

Woot!

You miss the beats while singing, from time to time [/grumpyoldman] but that's fully understandable. Playing and singing is damn hard.

Anyways, me likes.

"I'll send word to the others, don't worry. Good luck, and goodspeed," the councillor replied, before setting off at a run.
DHarem groaned, "So where is Khan's tower? He didn't say exactly wh-"
"West side of town, though it's quite hard to spot, as it's a bloody huge tower," Bon interjected.
"Are you learning sarcasm now?" DHarem grinned, as he pulled himself to his feet, first with difficulty and then with the same ease and grace as normal.
"So?" he asked.

No offence meant, but could I recommend using Google Chrome? It's got a built-in spell-check

Aye...

Aye... I did indeed originally plan on making Footprints into a comic. I did six pages, but only this one, the first, is properly finished.

After a brief rummage, Bon passed the vial to Varis, who poured it down DHarem's throat. Colour almost immediately seemed to return to his cheeks, though it would take a short while for the full effect.

"So what now?" Bon asked.

Topic: Gameworld Idea
Subject: Hm

I think I've come to a conclusion that Nature is a sort of sentient force in this world, a sort of Gaia. Whereas the gods might just (theoretically) strike down a former devotee who "turned" on them, Gaia would wait... who knows, that apple you just ate could have been poisoned.
It isn't? ... did you remember to check the pear?

I'd suppose that a "Fallen" Wanderer would be worse punished than a "Fallen" Ranger or Druid, as they're less permanently "bound".

Topic: Gameworld Idea
Subject: Hm

Interesting thought, but in the Core game, what about Rangers as seen by Druids? Paladins by Clerics? Bards by just about everyone?

I don't really see any particular restrictions on the Ranger, myself... but I could be blind ^^

Topic: Gameworld Idea
Subject: Classes

So we have the base classes, almost as they are (with a few backstory changes), and some new ones:

- Battlemage, a Sorceror/Fighter mix. Probably overpowered.
- Crusader, a Paladin/Fighter mix. All the smiting ^^
- Wanderer, a Barbarian/Ranger, without that annoying Rage.

Prestige Classes. I'm looking for input on these, and more OF them! (of course) Particularly campaign-themed ones, as they can be twisted to this gameworld.
