Hello, hey, and welcome!

I won't bother saying what everyone already seems to have said, so I guess I'll say something unrelated like... er... VORPAL CABBAGE!

People:
Billie: young woman, came to give the group some free clothes. Is seamstress in Cleft.
Derrick: Billie's father, owns the Falling Fool Tavern.
Butterfingers: apparently might have stolen the group's stuff. Lives at Number Ten, apparently.
Dom: Dominic Richardson, Priest of the Order of the Trouser. Bit of a git. "Interested" in Karia.
Weedy Boy: hangs around in the tavern.
Old Hag: has a crystal ball. Hangs around in the tavern.

Places (Cleft):
Falling Fool Tavern: owned by Derrick. He has offered the party board for the night.
Billie's Clothes: owned by Billie.
Smithy: a smithy. Huh.
Number Ten: two-floor house near the smithy, Butterfingers' abode. Apparently there's a tripwire-activated crossbow on the stairs.

Would anyone be interested in a reboot or remake? I know that I am

Chapter One: Shake off the Dust... Arise
Oh Lord, When? How?: What has happened, where are our heroes and why are they here?
Our heroes are in a valley village named Cleft.
Slip Sliding Away: Apparently our heroes have been robbed, by a certain "Butterfingers". They now have his address, though.
In the High Fidelity: Our heroes have no stuff... and need an income.
Filthy Gorgeous: Dom seems to be taking an... interest... to Karia.

Go ahead have received one character so far.

Looking for around three or four people, but I'll happily start a game with only two people ^^

Subject: Sort of

Someone else chooses everything to do with what would conventionally be called the character's "archetype".

However, note that even though this is a dungeon crawl, combat will be one of the least of the characters' worries...

Anyone interested should send me this filled-in character sheet, and we'll see how this is gonna work out.

Name: (well yeah)
Appearance: (doesn't need to be complicated)
Inventory: (clothes, maybe a few bits of jewellery or whatnot interesting things means more fodder for nice backstory)

So I'm starting up a game.

The setting is in the works, but it's a simple fantasy/medievalesque world. Humans only.

Handily, the protagonists have standard "Hollywood" amnesia: incapable of remembering a thing, save their simple motor and linguistic functions.

Of course, to spice up what sounds quite simple and boring?
Each player prepares a character down to their likes, dislikes, eye colour, whatever... EXCEPT the backstory and memories.

The background and skillset of the character? Are written by another player, so the character's player doesn't know the backstory and past of their character.
(I don't think I explained that clearly enough, I'll probably clarify this at a later date)

Apart from that, this will be a very, VERY rules-light (meaning none to speak of) dungeon romp.

Anyone interested?

I tend to do mainly freeform, with a little bit of structure basically, it's not all die rolls and calculation and precision. :p

Being young enough to have experienced them all at the same time... yeah, the newer trilogy was shinier, but the older trilogy's plot made much more sense. and had that kind of kitschy element (Yoda puppet) that made Alexander Nevsky an amazingly brilliant film.

If you've seen it, you will know what I'm on about. Polystyrene ice anyone? ^^

Hi all!

Been a while since I've GMed a game, but would quite like to get one started.

Since we don't appear to have a glut of active potential players, I guess I'll ask you all what we should play.

I've got notes for:
- "Footprints": epic fantasy stuff
- "Wanderlust":fun fantasy stuff
- "Echoes of War": different epic fantasy stuff
- "Thrice and Once": epic modern stuff
- "Lightyears Along": fun sci-fi stuff

... though I guess I could come up with something different.
Anyone interested in any of it?

Life seems to do those ups and downs, backs and forths, and very strange occurrences.

It also does very normal and banal occurrences.
Lack of internet access has meant that I've been unable to continue at the Inn, and that I haven't even had enough access to say that I've been away.

So this is a quick note to apologise for disappearing, and to say that I'm (sorta) back.

Hello again all!

Because in the list of five forums, the second one was once "surveys" before it became "webcomics", and it hasn't been updated up on the bar, seeing as the "surveys" are now a subforum of "General".

I recall seeing that and forgetting to mention it ^^

Welcome back, by teh wayz!
