So as grugg put it, I can't really give much input, so I'm in for whatever yall decide. I know Merideth voiced Amber's opinion on candy bars but Mac did stuff some candy and energy bars in each pack (along with some water and sports drinks). We've just been too busy with getting armed, Zombies, and Axe wielding maniacs turned zombies to really get the chance to slightly stave off hunger.
so anyone got the munchies?

He's not a fool either, actually when the bottle doesn't rule his mind, he quite sharp. He will have much information to impart to you and your companions on road about leafhaven and legends of the area." With more pleading in his eyes, but still asking for nothing, " You should make your preparations, get some horses, and go meet him, you won't be sorry you did, I promise you! At any rate have a safe journey."

If she checks the situation carefully.
the axe cut through some bone considering any major blood vessels to the heart are behind the ribs. So he needs to be wrapped up TIGHT (possibly using more pads lol, guauze, and maybe even some duct tape) after being stitched up.

first of all we are keeping the same inits throughout the fight (I assume that was a init roll)
the Arrowhawks are 50 high and 20 feet apart in their flight circle (think buzzards or vultures).
all 3 in the air and same distance away so AH chosen randomly: AH2 hit by 4 magic missles for (4 3 3 4 +4 Your total roll is 18 dam.
AH2 will fly in close enough to Xavier to try and bite him.
( 15 and a mod of +12 Your total roll is 27 ). successful hit for 1d8+3 damage -5 for DR. ( 4 dam)
on xavier's init he retaliates with a shuriken.
natural 20 (house rule: natural 20 on attacks= Critical and max dam. no need to roll threat.) 10 damage (hit vital blood vessel. will bleed out in 6 rnds losing 6 hp a rnd.) AH2 withdraws.
AH3 flies in within 20 feet of Seluumiel and uses its electric tail ray. (ranged touch attack... 9 and a mod of +12. Your total roll is 21. AH3 successful hit on Seluumiel for 2d8 electrical energy dam ( 7 dam).
AH4 Flies in close enough to Tenacity to bite her.
18 and a mod of +12. total roll is 30. HIT- dam is:
5 and a mod of +3. Your total roll is 8 (dam 8hp)
Camille will fire two more scorching rays at whatever AH Seluumiel attacks first (AH2). (Has 10 Res. to fire.)17 and a mod of +6 Your total roll is 23 .
hit for (dam 19 - 10= 9)
7 and a mod of +6 Your total roll is 13. miss
AH2 has been hit 3 times, one of which causes it to bleed out and it hits the ground and dies.

Subject: Tell everybody I'm on my way......
Dan was walking behind Iris, using her head as a focus point for the purpose of staving off his vertigo. The trip wasn't easy, with a little motor mouth too stubborn to stay behind and watch over the lab, running his mouth every minute on the minute. Why he chose him to bother, Dan would never know. Thrasher seemed to shadow him where ever he went. They weren't brothers or any relation for that matter.
"Where are we?....Where are we?....", Thrasher rattled on.
"Shut up. I'm concentrating on what's ahead of me!", snapped Dan.
"Where are we? Where are....whoops!"
Dan spun around just in time to see the little twerp almost take a 10 to 15 yard fall from the somewhat broad branch the group was on, but the young boy straightened out in time to catch himself. As Dan helped the boy up, he face showing his derision, Thrash smiled up at Dan saying,"I think I know where we are."
Unfortunately Dan's quick movements made him forget, only to be reminded once again, where exactly he was. The leaves and branches began to swirl about him and he stumbles backwards and lands on his rump on the branch. In fear he quickly lays down and hugs the branch for all it's worth saying to the troublesome little git,"Yeah, we are entirely too high up in this tree, and if you don't stop fooling around, someone is going down."
Visions of defeating Thrasher's little silly putty friend started to swim through his head. The boy would black out seeing as ditto was his only pokemon and he wind up at a pokecenter back home.
No, violence at this point and for this reason would only prove himself a bully. That's not what he wants.
He began to use Thrasher as a focus point, keeping his eyes locked on the boy's eyes as Dan slowly began to get to his feet.
"Listen, Thrasher, try to be a little more careful. I'm not very good with heights and don't expect me to pull your fat out of the fire again.", Dan said wearily as he slowly turned around to find his previous focus, looking ahead and not down, not ever down, and the group continued on to the town. The trip seemed to take forever, cause Dan really didn't want to be here, in Tree Top, and the anticipation of waiting to get somewhere solid seemed to stretch the journey out even longer.
An old annoyance started up again,"Where are we?....Where are we?...."

Subject: You sure do ask a lot of questions lol
This adventure is one in a series of three adventures. you all will level at the end will a 1000 exp. toward your next level (all encounters of this adventure before the BIG BOSS will level you up. the boss will give you 1000 more exp).
Incentive for speedy (but good!) posts and finishing the adventure.
So i guess the answer to your other questions is, the 4 books you started with are the only books that are going to be used for THIS adventure.
I may make one or two new books available to the players in the next adventure in the series but I pick the books. The books should have something for everybody to work with.
I will be getting some items out of the Arms and Equipment Guide and Magic item Compendium to put into caches and treasures in this adventure.
I haven't read your post yet, but I'll pm you if i ever have any problems with your posts, or I'll just role play around them.

Mac is still unconscious in the back of the store, wrapped up thanks to Amber. So basically that means I never made it back to the front, never checked on Emily, or asked about Murph. I was asked to Edit my post to reflect Mac's unconsciousness, and seeing how most if not all of that post was contingent on Mac being conscious, I went on a deleted it.

On pgs. 217-219 of the PhB II, is a list of equipment by level which states that the majority of PCs get a +2 weapon at tenth level. So, sorry for the issues raised, but PLEASE check the book to see what you are allowed.
Also look above the price cap has been raised to 25% so you players can buy level appropriate gear.
but PLEASE ONLY SELECT GEAR FROM THE LISTED BOOKS ONLY.

I read the following statement at least 4 or more times before I finally began to understand what was being said:
"I had left the axe lodged in Mac for a reason - to minimize blood loss. I figured that it could be removed by one of the others when there was time to treat the wound. At first, I considered editing Tiamat's post, since it technically was a breach of the player/GM contract - you guys post intentions, I post results. However, I would have allowed Mac to pull the axe out himself while moving to the back of the store, anyway, so I'm going to let the post stand, as is. Mac is now unconscious until further notice."
So the "results" you are speaking of (and the consequent breach of agreement in the process) is my posting that the axe dislodged after the fall. Is that correct? Sorry again for stepping on any toes. Would that also mean that Mac's passing out should have been your domain as well (i.e. rules for lethal and non lethal damage)?

Would that be your notice or mine?

Subject: Money and weapon problems
Every one needs to double check their character to see if any of their weapons are +1 with a special ability or if any of their items are cost more than 4900gp. Its not allowed. I'm trying to get the game going, and I want it to start and stay fair.
NO ONE SHOULD AT THIS POINT HAVE AN ITEM WORTH MORE THAN 4900 GP.
An example of this would be a +1 greatsword of spellstoring (spell storing is = to a +1 enhancement for cost purposes so +1 and a +1 enhancement is +2)
Jozan1 is right pg 222 says a +2 weapon (+2 to attack and damage or +1 and special ability) is a minimum of 8000gp.
You know who I'm talking to when I say, I shouldn't HAVE to check your work or take anyone by the hand and help them make their character for them. So far I've seen three players who know how to follow directions, and I applaud them for it.

I just posted though the pyroboom's post left little for me to bounce off of, so all in all, My post wasn't too bad. hopefull gives someone else something to go on.

Looking angrily at Ditto then a Thrasher, Dan said,"Keep that glob under control or i'll do it for you", Dan threatened as he pulled Voltorb's ball from his belt.
"Listen kid, I applaud your enthusiasm, but mistakes like that one is going to get people hurt. Honestly I think you are a little too young to venture too far from home. why don't you consider staying here?"
With that, he realized he was getting antsy and ready to go. The thought of walking the branches didn't bother him anymore, not to say it wouldn't bother him once he got out there on them. He just hoped Iris would be in the lead so he'd have a focus point to concentrate on instead of looking down and getting all wigged out.
He looked to Iris as he grabbed a pokeball and said, "what is taking Norman so long. We do really need to get a move on!"
