Subject: Game night 6-18-13


Well game night is upon us again. I will be adding Cohort characters to the list and these characters Will be ALWAYS OPEN and usable by newcomers and regular players alike. Also they can be interchanged. Say you used a mage cohort one week. You can use a fighter or cleric next week. They are not interchangeable during the game, however, or mid quest. You start a quest with a mage cohort you are stuck with that mage until you finish the quest.

The party role played getting legends and lore about Genesica from Edgar Magernot and securing their followers to help reconstruct Cordyan. Also, Gargash is going to be getting a pretty powerful weapon soon, but now has a Keen Greataxe until his new weapon is ready. Akai bought himself a ring of Chameleon Power to make him all the more Ninja like.

Next session the party will be setting off with their new cohorts and Bill from the Cabayan Builder's Guild, to pick up some extra workers and their families in Cabaya. Im guessing this mission should take four sessions to complete (and roughly a month in game time), by which time, the party will be ready to level up (possibly sooner than that really) and Gargash's new weapon will be ready and waiting for him in Sebria.

Subject: leveling up


Leveled up the regular players to lvl 12 (with exception to Gargash who is lvl 10 with a +3 LA).

the feat leadership has been added to them.
Each of the characters get a lvl 9 cohort (which will help in gaming sessions when only two or three people show to play).

I will wait until I get feedback on the core race and core class the players want for their cohort.

Leveled regular characters also attract 163 followers ranging within the NPC classes from 1st to 6th level.

Last game Khadree found a book called "Faux Book of Magic".
Gargash is haggling and negotiating for a Greataxe similar to the one he has now with the Keen ability. (projected price for weapon, 50,370 gp)

This all while procuring workers both magic and mundane to rebuild Cordyan.

Last game the planning room collapsed and everyone got out alive. Some new info on the location of other dragon lairs was found, and within the dilapidated settlement was found enough gold and loot to begin financing the rebuilding of Cordyan.

Tonight the party decided to head to Sebria and hire a construction crew to rebuild Cordyan. On the way there the party learns from a non-violent band of orcs that the group has started a war with the Dark One and his draconic family by killing Zazbeth. The orcs are going into hiding because they don't want to cross the dragons but don't want to face the group of "Dragon Slayers" either.

that It's Tuesday, Maybe we can game tonight.

Archangel, let me know what you are interested in playing and if you become a regular I'll make a character for you to play. Otherwise we need a cleric because we have trouble keeping one in the game.

game time is 7:30pm central time zone, system used is D&D d20 3.5 , the campaign covers dragons, draconics, and demons (with a few basic things thrown in).

If one of my regulars could remind be of the day on Facebook that would be awesome. It's been almost a month since we played.

Subject: 4-30-13 game night


May have a new player in the mix, Arwen, who played Sister Mea the cleric. Gerald Defay and Wolfman showed up tonight. Had some internet troubles tonight but otherwise a great game night.

After the death of Zazbeth, the party received the deed to a razed settlement called Cordyan. They were attacked by Spectral Archers and Sister Mea turned the majority of them.

The next week or so the party explored their newly aquired land and search and brought down the more condemnable buildings to prepare to rebuild. They found what appears to be an important building that may be some kind of planning room, a military epicenter. The place has yet to be fully explored. That will come next week on my Birthday.

First off I like to say it was great to see my whole group of regulars in the game tonight plus some newcomers. Gerald Defay, CDNflirt, Takley, LadyDark, and Wolfman. Plus SilentOne seems interested in joining the scene as well.

With that said, I hope tonight's game was fun for the players. Seemed kinda dull to me. Thought a celebration and ceremony for the characters for a mission completed was a good idea at the time. It seemed the party had trouble trusting the Governor even though he was rolling out the red carpet for the party.

Next week's game bodes well with more action promised. Again thanks for playing, everybody!

Went well tonight with my regular players. Missed Cdnflirt. Wolfman, Gerald Defay, Lady Dark, and Takley all showed up and with newly leveled (lvl 11) characters laid a beat down on Zazbeth. They got rich quick and took the head to Kamosa. This victory was not arrived at without it's casualties. Khadree the warmage died at -16 hp but was "wished" back to life by a ring of three wishes that had one wish left on it. Now the ring is worth as much as one you would get from a bubblegum machine. lol.

The party needs to be ready for some role playing next week! Thanks for playing and to everyone else, don't be shy, I can make any character someone could want. Come play if you get the chance.

I didn't flake out tonight. My chat game should be back on regularly. CDNflirt, Gerald Defay and Wolfman showed up to play and continue the saga that started last year. Next Thursday, they will be facing Zazbeth the red dragon. Wish them luck. The party will be needing it.
