Now that is a subject I could probably talk you ear off if you let me. lol
Im into Metallica, Megadeth, Epica, Therion, Apocolyptica and many of the underground gothic metal bands.
I also play guitar. I know how to mix music and make decent vids if you ever want to collaborate on a song for youtube.

Well theres no worries about spoilers, and we all know about the annoying Jar Jar Binx. Did the 3D rerelease cut the mustard. Was it worth it the second time around. What are your thoughts. hehehe....was it worth at least the price of admission?
The only parts in the movie that made it worth redoing in 3D was the pod race and the space battle against the trade federation ship. Other than that, there was only depth given to the movie and very little in-your-face 3D stuff.

The rules set is loosely based on d20 3.5, for the focus is on keeping the game going and fun, more than focusing on the rules. They say if you have unexplained pain, are losing sleep, and losing interest in things that you were once impassioned with, you could be suffering from depression.
With the exception of my ongoing love for D&D, All of the above describes me, as of late.
But now, I can't even enjoy the one last thing I love presently because my Sunday D20pro game is postponed til Feb 5th, Audulis Dreaming is on hiatus til March, and hopefully I'll have a better turnout next Tuesday than last in my chat game 'cause the D&D content of my blood is getting low.

Sounds like a punchline to an insensitive joke. On one hand it is too soon.
Unfortunately, I never learned the first basic ed or 2nd (AD&D). Shoot I think I would have enjoyed playing Temple of Elemental Evil. But alas Im ignorant of the joys of playing the earlier versions of the game.
3.0/.5 is what I cut my teeth on in 2001. I had more books from that edition than I could carry in a backpack. 7 years flew by almost in a blur, and its time to buy new books at $40+ a pop again. I refused. Bought my son the 4e red box set though, and ran him through the included adventure. Didn't like the new rules at all.
On the other hand, this new edition (5e) couldn't come soon enough even though only 4 years have passed since last edition. WOTC realized they made a mistake and alienated their faithful fan and gamer base with 4thed.
Now, with 5th supposedly having a "retro" feel to the rules, Im hoping the compromise pays off. I will however be waiting til I play and use the new rules to make up my mind if i'm going to buy any books. I'm hoping that the new rules revivafies the useability of books already owned.
I personally like the Pathfinder ruleset. I think they actually got it right. They are out to make money, yes, but they are not all up in your face obvious about it. I mean, the core rules and monsters are covered in 2 books not 3 like D&D. The majority of their supplements are adventure modules and bestiary books (more monsters).
So to wrap this up.....
WOTC, you money grubbing group, I cringe at and at the same time welcome the arrival of 5th edition, but don't expect me to jump on this band wagon until I'm sure its made better than what made me like the game in the first place.

well last game day was kinda weak. only two showed up. So we had an expositional Role Playing session where the two characters Gargash and Akai went gathering information and were taken into custody for not checking in with the community center.
hopefully we will have a better turn out tonight, just in case things get hairy.
Update: The party has made it into Zazbeth's cave "The Great Wyrm's Egg". Faced a few traps so far. Remember 2a for next week.
