Hornet agrees that we should ask about captives, what creatures and number are in the cave and if there is a back entrance. He would not support killing a surrendered foe that we made a deal with so not sure what to do with it when we are done.
*Is there a back entrance/entrance that isn't guarded?
*Ask if the Molkin (was that their name?) twins are in the Vargolg plus are there any other captives?
*What other forces are ahead?
*And what are the goblins up to? Why are they massing in such numbers? Who's their big boss? I'm not talking Red Caps, I'm talking the overlord. Is it the Horned One?
*Also, Thäoran would like to ask a question himself: Have the goblins taken any elves prisoner, specifically male elves. Thäoran's still looking for his father.
Well, since Lily is just doing the same thing she has been doing, I dont think I need to post again while the interrogation, etc. is going on. Just assume she is observing, and studying the ledge upon which they all stand. Keeping a watch, listening for any approaches, dangers, etc. If something is found, or she see/hears anything, post it and then I will post to her response. Sound good?
'Have some wine,' the March Hare said in an encouraging tone.
...Or maybe goblins prefer a mead party?
Other than that (and the above was, of course, a joke. Unless we could make some buds that way), I suggest we have a short/long rest then head into the Vargolg. The Vargolg is going to be a hard place to infiltrate so we need to be in our best condition before we attempt it. And I'd like to do my weapon bond ritual I've just learned which requires an hour to perform, if that's okay. If not, we can just move on ahead.
I don't think I have a clear idea of what the plan is.
The best I have is
1. tie up the bugbear and leave it here.
2. Head back towards the Vargolg.
I guess I will post based on that shortly if I don't hear anything else soon. It will be much easier if I can get it done tonight. But what do you want to do when you get there? You know what it looks like - the (possibly now burned) wall of brush with an opening leading to a gulley at the end of which is a door and cave entrance.
This is a tricky situation. We have at least 4 innocent people in the area that we don't want accidentally shot if we engage in battle. I say we split the party up. One half engages the enemy and the other frees the prisoners.
I would vote we all attack those guarding the prisoners and try to free them quickly. If we free them we run away. Our goal was to free the prisoners not just kill the monsters. Barring that we split and attack. Attack the non-prisoner group first to draw attention then hopefully the other group frees the prisoners and again we run. That is a pretty sizeable amount of monsters.
Sorry this isn't Blacktooth related, but it is tooth related lol.
Who here has had their wisdom teeth (or 1 at least)? How long did it take to grow (I don't mean what age were you, I mean time period)? Think mine's starting to grow and I'm wondering how long I've got to put up with it till it grows.
