Leave Miss Wil in the lurch? No ruttin' way! Who'd Sam ogle during them long days in the Black (them pinups in his bunk are okay and all but sometimes a real live movin' bit o' lovely is fair sight nicer to ponder on, get me?)... An' who'd patch him up if'n he took a notion to throwin' hisself in front of a train ag'in?
I took Wyatt's "moving the crew out" to mean that those of us who went to the jailhouse was heading for the ship, not burnin' atmo just yet... still and all, dirt-side or in the Black, Dash ain't like to be too awful chatty with them as ain't regulars in most cases... Let's hope Pearson don't hurt Ma's feelin's none, though... could be a train comin'...
P.S. Went ahead and posted what I've got done... Like the post title says, it's mostly just fluffy stuff - Sam being Sam, a little bit of internal reflection, and some offhand convo with Wolf... Dash'll likely find him a place on the back of the mule on the ride home and keep quiet as best he's able (especially once Pearson's on board)...
