Uh, yeah...
Sorry. I've been very busy as of late and am actually stealing time from art production to post. I apologize to everyone for my delay.

Canadian eh?
I believe Blamm has just revealed Asher as a Canadian. Homo Milk? That's Canadian for Whole Milk for our friends below the border. Comes from "Homogenized" so no jokes please.

No jokes about the "colloquialism"...
...but yer nuts if ya think Sam's not gonna rib the boy about orderin' milk in a saloon.
By the by, I just added a Wyatt portrait to the collection (se pg 4, as usual)... It's not quite exactly where I want it, yet (still working on getting a hat worked in there and such), but it is up and ready for a peeky-peek!

Argh! I keep forgetting to ask...
...and I'm not even sure if mention has been made of it but does Rocinante have any shuttles? I've been going on the assumption that she doesn't but would like to make sure.
Might not hurt to post a "character sheet" for our beloved boat, eh?

And just so were clear...
I hope no offense was taken to my shoddy attempt at sexual humor. As a player, I am in no way homophobic(at least, I don't think so...) though I may have painted the crowd at the bar as such and, in that sense, perhaps assumed too much. Though, I don't think so. I just finished watching the Firefly series and two episodes come to mind that seem to suggest that people in the Whedon's future still have the same cultural feelings when it comes to same-gender relationships and sex. (Heart of Gold and the episode where Inara has a female client on board the ship.)
Anyway... I knew I was going have Asher order milk as the lad's not so good at holding his drink. The homo milk thing came afterwards and it made me laugh, so I thought I'd share.
Eol... remember in your reply that we've been together for a couple of months (a full year, yes?) so the ordering the milk wouldn't be anything new.

We do have shuttles! Cool!
I'm not sure why I assumed that we didn't but it is good to know otherwise, thanks.
Blammm - as far as Asher ordering milk, you're right, Sam probably is used to that; however, Sam bein' Sam, he's probably prone to razzin' the Kid about it, anyhoo.
P.S. Thanks for the kudos... right back at ya.

Shucks, no offense!
I just laughed when I read your post because it is one of those things that distinguishes Canadians from Americans...and then I pointed it out to Al.
If you meant it as a double-entendre, I'm cool with it...and I hope no one was offended because Willow can be (and likely will be) much more frank about things

Hmm...
Having never been a recovering alcoholic, nor having ever been keen on alcohol in general, I don't rightly know if Wyatt would be clean free of the stuff, or if he'd imbibe on occasion. Any suggestions?

Y'know...
...I actually thought about that wehn I had Dash order that drink and wondered about it, myself. The way I figured it was that while Wyatt's probably trying to "clean up" he may be prone to taking a little nip on occassion but nowhere near as "dependant" on the stuff as, say, when Sam first met him... Your choice, of course, Brom (Wyatt is yours after all)...If you decide he's completely sworn of the sauce, I'll edit that last so that Dash brings him a coffee or a coke or something. Dash is a yukker but he wouldn't bring his "best friend" a glass of hooch if said friend was trying to stay "dry".

Options make life rich
If you have alcoholism as a complication, then it will rear its ugly head from time to time. You can swear off the sauce, then fall off wagon when things get tough, or you are reminded of something painfaul, or you can be a "functional alcoholic": drinking more than most, but seemingly sober, then veering into full drunk on occasion.
