Ok I'm going to have to sell my current armour that I am wearing to afford a +1 chain shirt and +1 great sword, all small of course. I'm 5 gold short if I don't. =P

Well artanis is long gone, physically not there so she shouldn't get a share thats for sure. and Intella is also not physically there, but Bronwyn and elendil are both are, so it works out. Thats how I'd explain it

If the group cash does go that high, anyone mind me buying a small +1 great sword? Wouldn't cost as much because IT'S SMALL! =D

Ok, I think a good plan has come up for how to devise the loot up. If you have any alternatives just voice 'em!

Aelistae- magical armour

Xaris- Gauntlets

Dylan- +2 ring

Talus- +1 ring

Linnix- +1 ring

And then we can sell the daggers for group cash.

Also I propose that Xaris needs to get at least a +1 weapon for fightin' the baddies, the werewolf battle could of been easier if he didn't have a mundane weapon and all.

Gunk-karg looked over at the people who were discussing the way they should go, and felt a twitch in his brow when he heard the arragont, pig-headed voice of the barbarian, "bearpaw". He walked over and looked at the map, and decided.

" Ok, "bearpaw", do you wanna live through this encounter or not? Hobgoblins arent push overs, there militaristic bullies who'll over whelm you with numbers and kill you from the brush. I don't wanna die on account of your arrogance, so just listen here and TRY to comprehend what I'm about to say."

he pointed to the map with his orcish finger, and traced out three lines. One leading from water deep, going up to red larch then straight into the southern tip of the forest. another goes straight through the wilds and hills, from waterdeep to the southern tip of the forest, and another goes from waterdeep to the mere of dead men up to the southern tip.

" Now i propose we go to red lark first, if we dont wanna go up there we should go up through the mountains. if we dont wanna go up there we could go through the mere of dead men. I really dont wanna go there though, lizardmen ain't my thing, ya know? Don't wanna die from some marsh disease. Now can we get moving on one of these trails?

Xaris walked through the new fort that they have captured, seeing the hustle and bustle of civilians, but every now and then the flash backs of goblins, gnolls, and orcs would appear instead of humans. It would be a long time before he could get the traumas out of his head stemming from his near death experience. Many nights he stayed silent, trying to sleep but every time he closed his eyes the ax kept on crashing down upon him, but then he always remembered the soothing healing of many hands weaving him back together. He was like this for days, silent to himself as he wandered about, but whenever he seen another face, one that either re veered him a hero or just looked at him because of his skin, he always smiled...

The night of the ceremony he tried to push the thoughts out of his immediate mind, and bury it deep into his subconscious with many other forgotten memories. He dressed finely and kept a smile as Bart's speech reverberated through out the keep, and a warm feeling filled up inside him as many wishes were now true with the founding of the keep. He received his share of the reward with a smile and bid Bart a simple thank you as he passed. After though, they were called into a back room where further plans were being discussed.

It saddened him so that Artanis had to go, but it also made him happy that she finally was doing what was right for herself. He chuckled at the last comment made. After that, Bart talked inspirationally about the untold potentials of the keep, and Xaris liked where he was going with this. He walked over to a wardrobe and opened it to reveal beautifully made cloaks with golden roses as clasps. As Xaris watched the others rise to accept the cloaks, he waited until Talus came back, and then stood. His hopped down from his chair and walked over to Bart. He stood in front of the man staring up at him, knowing that good filled his heart, and that he could not leave him now in his time of need. He reached up to accept the cloak, becoming a member of the scarlet rose. With it nestled in his hands he stood still admiring Bart, and spoke.

" Lord Bartholomew, in the centuries that I have lived I have never met a human who cared so much for others. I signed the charter to join you on this quest to aid those who needed it the most, and I thought when that was done I would move on, helping other when they needed it once more. But through out the time I've been with you all I've learned so much about my self. In talking with Elesia..." He paused to remember her, and how much she helped him out with his hidden problems. " and everyone else I've realized that I can do so much more with others and that not everything can be solved on my own. Dear Bart you have the wisdom of my elder Yyriendel, and the courage of my father who they both surely will be proud of my company here today. I find that they would both would want me to join you and everyone else, as I can do so much more to help the people that need it the most with all of you, than I can ever do on my own."

Xaris smiled warmly to Bart, then bowed slightly and took to his seat, admiring his newly acquired cloak and its golden clasp.

Gunk-karg watched the whole room fall into disarray as the barbarian stormed in, almost breaking the door. He almost fell backwards in his chair but caught himself and sat on all fours again, and laughed as the barbarian yelled this and that for no reason, saying he's been waiting for ever. What an air of arrogance this man had about him, and Gunk-karg would of loved to beat it out of him, especially when he said something about putting people in their place. But that thought faded and he watched silently as the others talked and talked. This is what he as best at, listening and this is how he usually made his living.

Gunk-karg watched the woman who was the heir as she talked, obviously nervous. She spoke out asking if we were ready, and the dwarf next agreed that he was ready.

slapping both open hands on the table making a loud slapping noise and standing, Gunk-karg also agreed.

" There is wealth to be made on this trip, and who knows what we could run into as we travel. We should stop all this jabbering and finally get a move out."

Gunk-karg reaches down for his great sword and slings it over his shoulder, and adjusts the eye patch over his right eye, revealing for a moment the empty socket underneath. He tapped his tusk for a moment, wiped off his bald head and adjusted his leather bound chain shirt, making sure everything was ready for the adventure to come.

Gruk-karg looked to Velina who spoke out about his comments.

"Fickle er not, if only a few of us come back then something happend, right? Even if then thats not enough we could bring some heads back, roll 'em out and show 'em whats what! Gettin' paid in lots more ways than you think, loots all good to sell and make a profit, also is the whole lot of assets we get if we're the heir!"

Gunk-karg looked around as he stood in the door way, his shaved head dressed only by the eye patch strap reaching around his head. His right eye covered by the black piece of cloth, hiding what gruesome sight that dwells beneath it. His left bottom tusk sticks out, the yellowish pointed tooth almost to over sized for his mouth. He grunted once and straightened out his chain shirt, looking around the room. He raised his arms and ran them over his greyish green skin, and adjusted the great sword that hung off of his back. He knocked his large studded leather boots together kicking some dried mud off of them onto the carper, looked down at it and entered, sitting in the chair that was brought in for him. He took his sword off and let it clamor to the floor and slid it underneath the chair, and then leaned back in his seat, putting his boots up on the table in front of him. From his looks he seemed unusually slender for a half orc, but none the less he was tall and muscles bulged out from where they could. He listened to what was said next.

"Gunk-karg Rooka-darg, your own presence on the list of possible heirs of the deceased is just short of reprehensible, as far as I am concerned, but it is legal, regardless. It is documented that the deceased placed your family's name on the list under duress. The reason for it is also documented, but is legally irrelevant here and now. It should be obvious that, had the deceased been able to provide issue from his marriage, none of you would be here now. As it turned out, his only effort to that dilemma was taken from him along with his wife. Therefore, Gunk-karg, legally, your claim is as valid as any of the others here who are of no blood relation."

" Meh names Gunk-karg Rooka-ROOKA-Darg." After that he just chuckled at the rest of the explanation on why he was here, and nodded slowly as in recognizing how wrong it was for him to be here. But here he was none the less.

Next this little half-breed asked a question about supplies, and how will the mission be proved its completion. Gunk-karg looked over to her and spoke.

"We figure out who gets it done by who ever comes back alive! Most of us will probably die anyways, crazy old man he was should never of played with those damned spells. Probably cursed us all to the nine hells."

Gunk-karg shrugs, and yawns with his tusk filled mouth wide open.

"But oh well, we all gotta die sometime and at least we're getting paid, right?"

Gunk-karg laughed haughtily and sat back straight in his chair, and went through what little amount of gear he had making sure he was ready.
