Finally they hit somewhere where they can refresh their supplies. What was worrying Loda the most though was her low supply of ale. Now she does not need to worry any more.
But as soon as that thought crossed her mind, she checked her pockets, and found that she was almost empty on the old coin purse.

" I'm going to have to sell a few things now. This sucks."
The thought crossed her mind and she looked at Gothard. He knew what she was feeling, and so together they headed off towards the nearest goods store.

When she got the the doors she looked down at Gothard again.

" You stay out here now, and stay out of sight. Do not let yourself be seen, or they might take you for an infected animal. We've all seen how people get when they're irrational. Be a good boy now."

Loda entered the store, and struck up a conversation with the store clerk, wondering if she could barter off her brewing pot, and her badger necklace for some gold. She could always buy more ale than spend all the time brewing it. It was in the way a lot too. She also offered up one of her cure light wounds potions, hopefully to get a good amount for it.

( Almerin, should we do a PM convo?)

I dont have any of those books so I'm going to have to say no on that one. Sorry. But one more thing that I remembered. All your health will be done at max. for example, a level four fighter with a 14 contitution will have 10+10+10+10+8= 48. Dont roll, just take the max health. And all xp will start out at 6,000/10,000.

That is just amazing. I have one question though. When you play table top with a dungeon crawl, do you yourself show them a map and have a copy of a map on hand to show traps, or just tell them, " the hall way goes down and left...etc." or do you use minis?

Cool. So I have two people so far? I'll add a QnA and even if you two are the only ones, I'll DM ya.

I will get information for you all, I just need a response from Tcatt first. Hopefully all of my previous Info hasnt been erased. That would suck.
And your barb/rogue would work. I never seen that combo before, should be intersting to see how he plays out =)

Subject: questions...

Well I was thinking maybe starting people out at level four. I want at most four people, now that I think about it. It will be in my homegrown Rayeskell, which I should get maps for soon, even if I have to make them again. All races are pretty lenient on things, like if you seen a full ed orc walking down the street at night, it wouldnt automatically make everyone run screaming. Magic is not as adundant in this world, no where near like eberron. All races are accepted from PHB and also the classes and prestige classses from the PHB, DMG, are also allowed. If you have a suggestion for a book to use, ask me first, same with races. I usually like running games for peopel who are not in games yet or are new to games, and I do not require any writing samples. Just the Character, with background optional, and also suggested. If i missed any questions I'll come back and edit, and if you have any more, just ask.

Oh also, it will start once we get four people with characters in.

I will try an DM another campaign. This will be my third try with my world of Rayeskell and it will not be a novel type campaign where you have to type up a ton of stuff. Once I get more peopel who ask questions, I'll start giving out info.

I remember reading that book. I did not like it just because of the way they treated Piggy. They pushed him out of their society because he was different, and because he couldn't do every little thing by himself. Also for Simon. They killed him in a violent act when they were not in their right minds when they did it. From an emotional and personal point of view, I didn't really like it. But from a psychological and societal point of view, it is quite astounding. Thinking of humans without the aid of parents the teaching of manners and such, what kids can become, and grow up to be.

Loda watched as the deformed hog ran into their view and spewed up the vile red blanket that covered the path. She was ready to cast her spell Flaming sphere until the boar lept back into the brush, dissappearing form sight. The mist slowly krept towards them, and not wanting to walk into the malformed and dead looking woods, she prepared her flaming sphere and cast it at the mist, hoping to part it like the sun does to the morning fog.

Ok good, I didnt really think of that at the time I posted. I dont think Loda would approach giant sized maggots as casually as she did.

Loda and Gothard searched the tower with Lady Quilanday and they bi passed gruosome blood stained halls, furniture tossed around, all sites of gruesome battles. Loda smiled as the Lady took a swig from her flask. She followed suit and took a sip her self, and put it away. They couldnt be to tipsy if any trouble came by.
They kept on moving until they came into one room with the floor littered with shelves and other furniture, but all were covered by a massive dead bear. Its side spilled out over the floor with maggots feasting on them already. She grimaced at the site, but then regained her composure.

“There must be something here that can help us.”

Loda agreed. The signs all over the walls, some of which she recognized, had to have some clues hidden in them, or maybe something the bear laid on. She decided she would search there.

" I'll go and search around the dead bear. Better to get that job out of the way now then save it for last."

Loda started walking towards the bear, ready to search around and as far underneath as she could go.

Loda looked around at the things that everyone was doing. Thondrek and Gheim were searching the tower along side Malius, and Draven was still missing according to her. Her and Gothard were standing there resting for a bit, catching their breathes when a tap on the shoulder arrested her attention.

“Do you want to accompany me into the tower? I’m going to see if the sages found anything of interest before they were murdered. There must be at least something we can find here that will help us destroy this plague!”

Her face looked a little bit worried, and Loda thought it was on account of what came out of the tower. But She didn't want to be alone either, so she gladly accepted.

" Don't worry there, I'll go in with ya. I don't really want to be here alone either. Gothard and I will make ya good company, and if ya ever want some of our brew, your welcome to try it."

Loda took out one of her few flasks with ale and took a sip, relaxing her nerves of the days events. She squirted some in Gothards mouth and laughed as he chomped at the air, taking some in and letting the rest splatter onto the ground. She adjusted her gear and hoped what spells she had left would do her good, and decided she was ready.

" So, whenever you're ready, I'm ready. It's your call."

Loda heard the words of Gheim, and though to herself that she did not need any healing. She could take care of herself, and didnt want to have any spells wasted on her. Her first order of business was to get her armour off, and to get her breathing in order. After that, she would need to take care of Gothard.
She stripped her armour and tried to catch her breathe, and once she does, she gets up, hands on her knees, and finally stablizes herself.

" Its alright Gothard, I gotch ya."

She summons her magic from the forests and hills and of nature itself, and casts cure light wounds on Gothard, to stop him from bleeding. After she casts that, she falls back to the ground and hopes to stop feeling the tightness in her chest.

Herendiel walked out of the gate, ready for a long hike ahead of them. He had traveled the roads before, but usually not by foot. Most of the time he was in a caravan or single cart, going from town to town. He hoped the food that he had eaten that morning would not cramp up his stomach with the sudden change of sitting to walking.

He looked over his spell book and read, re read, and memorized spells for the day, just making sure he had everything right. The spells he picked would be tailored to what they would encounter, well atleast, thats what he plans. They are going up north, which he did want to see anyways, and thinks that some fire spells should work nice against any ice beasts or people who are accustomed to the cold.

They walked more and more, until it felt about six or seven miles, and took a break. The scenery had changed a lot, and now they rested. He sat, eating some rations he had kept, and still, read his book. He took out a piece of parchment and his ink and pen, and took notes on things he saw, and doodled pictures. He wrote down about the surrounding scenery, and how it has changed from the flats, to rolling hills, to some sparse trees in fields. He wrote this down, and scribbled down some birds, and animals, and flowers. Soon, he closed his book, and decided to walk around the small camp.

( Will memorize Spells Prepared:
0: Daze, Open/Close, Ray of Frost , Detect Magic, Flare

1: Mage Armour, Identify, Shocking Grasp, Burning Hands )
