Xaris thought for a second, and decided on the answer to the question given to him by Talus.

" I'll immediately begin to move in after the first volley is fired. If I move in before that I risk the chance of being flanked and also being hit by the shots fired. But I'll be quick enough so they won't get a chance to rally, don't worry."

Xaris winked and chuckled a bit, hefting his little greatsword onto his shoulder.

" I'll hide just outside the torch light, ready to attack when the first shot is fired. Talus, I think your shot should be the opener, as we can all see it and know what it looks like, then others can follow. We just gotta make sure that everyone is in position before we spring our trap."

(When everyone decides on what should happen, and how we shall decide, Xaris will take ten on slinking to the edge of the torch light, keeping low in the bushes and stuff)

Loda looked around, and was delighted as her bonds were cut, but kept her hands behind her back, for obvious reasons. She sat there just looking inconspicous(sp?) and waiting for everyone to be released. She spoke out in Khordulum to anyone who could understand, and in a whisper incase one of the orcs are actually smart enough.

" Let's not try to do anythign right now. Let's wait till nightfall atleast, or until we have to show what has happened."

Biensel watched silently as the whole situation unraveled around him. They finally pin pointed the man who they came for, and he had to sit in the darkest, sketchiest corner of the room. He sighed as everything always had to be the hardest, nothing easy. The attack on the way over here, the challenge at the door, and now this.

Oh well, I guess sometimes we just all gotta roll with the punches...

He pulled out his lute and started to strum a soft, slow melody that matched the mood of the smoke filled room. Not anything to fast to get anyone wriled up, but not anything slowly depressing. But he also laced it with the magics that a bard has, subtley trying to make the situation easier for anyone who tries.

He looked down to Ocyari, and smiled. The simpleness of a child he enveyed so much. Adult life is to complicated. He leaned over and whispered to her.

" Come on now, don't look so bored, how about we make a little music? Feel like singing? If not then please, enjoy the sounds of my lute."

He smiled at her, his blonde locks slipping infront of his face, then forcing them back behind his head again with his hand. He chuckled a bit and sat back, continuing to play.

( will play inspire competence)

Xaris listened to the plan that as being formulated. He pondered the latest query, and came up with a simple idea.

" How about I take care of the orcs. Once the trail is covered so no one can escape, I can rush into the camp and engage in combat with the orcs. When the goblins try to run, and they are dead, Artanis you can rush in once the path is clear. Aelistae you can guard the path and Talus can blast anything in sight while skirting the outside. Linnix you could get around the back of the camp and start taking out goblins over there by the tent, Dylan you can attack from the left killing the goblins there, and then we have an attack coming from all sides. north, south, east, and west, all at once. I'll disrupt the center while Talus could kill the goblins at this entrance. If we strike all at once then there will be mass confusion. "

Xaris smiles wryly as he liked his plan. Especially the part where he gets to chop up some goblins. But then something entered his mind and he quickly spoke up.

" But make sure you go wide enough in the woods to not even have a chance to be seen. Don't wanna be spotted, ya know?"

Xaris thought back on the battles with the forest goblins he had in his home woods. Killing what they called the leader certainly demoralized them and left them clueless, so this plan was sound to him. To him Goblins were goblins, all self soiling spineless heathens who deserve to be put down for the sake of every living thing.

" Your plan is sound, and I agree. With many battles against goblins in my past, killing the leaders and organizers will bring them down. The only thing is that goblins have numbers on their side, so we need to be quiet about killing the bugbear and wandering patrols. Then we can eliminate the goblin encampments, and then make our way to the keep. We do not want to leave any goblins behind us, who could flank."

Xaris pops the rest of the sweet tasting berries into his mouth, the red juices flowing down his pasty white chin in a fine line. He wipes it away and draws his sword, letting it rest on the ground as a sign of readyment.

alright I'll post here what spells I have and also either of those spells need Somatic parts, which my hands are tied.

Spells ( by default will memorize these spells each day)
0: Cure Minor wounds x2, Detect Magic, Flare, Guidance, Detect Poison
1: Cure Light Wounds x3, Good Berry, Summon Nature’s Ally I, Produce Flame
2: Bull’s Strength x2, Barkskin x2, Flaming Sphere x2, Summon Nature’s Ally II, Warp Wood

Spells Per Day
0: 5
1: 3 +1
2: 2 +1

I think I have used up all of my lvl 2 spells, not sure. I used a flaming sphere at the goblins, then a bull strength to buff and also a bark skin. so I do have it memorized, just used up all my slots. Produce flame and summon natures ally I are still options though, if i could get my hands free. Also I think our best bet is to see where the ferrets are! They could chew threw ropes in a matter of seconds probably.

Lheriel looked around the shop that he had entered. It had quite the rustic feeling about it, one that he secretly adored. Living and growing up in such a high class family he almost always wanted to know what it was like to live in a cozy little cottage, with just his family. But now that was impossible and the thought only brought sad memories flooding back.

He watched the fiery haired dwarf come to the shop front, and Lheriel smiled at his accent.

"Name be Tam, would can I be do’n fer ya today?”

" Well Tam, I'll be needing a map of the Krim mountains, and if so even past that to Portluck. Do you have anything that will suffice? I have a pouch full of gold to spend so only the best shall do."

Wow, I just realized, reading Sib's post, that our group has a 33% Mortality rate. That is scary high. 9 peopel all together have tried this quest, and three have died. Insane.

Well I'm only making the suggestion if the place is all woods. I don't leave scent or a trail behind I get big bonus on hide. If it's woods I would gladly sneak around with Linnix. If not i'll let her do the skulking.

Ok quick question. Is the area around the bridge woodsy? Because I can pass without trace as a level five druid casting the spell on myself as a free action, and also I get a +12 to hide within woods, ( +8 forest gnome, +4 small). If it is not in woods, I still get a +8 to hide. ( +4 forest gnome, +4 small)

Xaris sat and thought about what the best plan would be. He agreed with a head shake to camp for the night, and he was still trying to get used to the feel of metal armour on his skin. It wasnt anything to different, just the weight and how thin the chainshirt was compared to his past armour. He sat around the fire, munching on some of the food they had, waiting for midnight with the rest of them.

Then the time came, he watched Aelistae dance in the night, getting her spells from her patron diety. This brought memories back of when he was only a little forest gnome, and he would watch Yyrienel pray to Baervan the Wild Wanderer every morning to gather his ancient magics.

Then when Aelistae was done praying for her spells, it was time to move out. Xaris spoke up with a plan of action.

" I think I should scout out ahead of everyone. If I choose, I can leave not foot steps behind in these trees, if that is ok with everyone. I can hide at night within the trees without being seen, if the need arises. So shall I take point?"

hehe, and knowing that ferrets LOVE to chew stuff, i'm sure they wont mind gnawing through some wonderful little ropes. Or gothard might like a little nibble too.
