Loda ran fast at the beast, her axe hefted into the air, her shield ready to block any attacks. Her chest heaved as her breathes grew rapidly quicker. Soon she would cleave this vile creature into two for cooking her and her friends alive. Her eyes narrowed as she seen where she wanted to strike. Right into the open fleshy wound on the hounds side, wanting to strike as hard as she could into the bleeding weak spot.
She was but a few steps away from executing her final solution for this beast, but before she could do take the life of the assailant, a crackling blueish white bolt of lightning flew past her being, and struck the hound dead center.
A bright flash of light almost knocked her over, catching her off guard so easily. Once she was done shielding her eyes from the blazing ray, she looked back, and all that was left of the vicious monster was but a pile of dark ashes, a few hairs, and a pile of still burning bones.
Loda dropped her axe to the ground, and then herself, dropped to the ground also.
The vicious battle that was just fought drained the energy right out of her. From being punctured with a scicle, to being blisterd and burned, it was time for a quick rest.
Quickly, she caught her breathe, and stood up, her calfs feeling slightly tight from running so much, in such a short amount of time, and her arms aching from hefting the heavy axe. But it all comes with being a dwarf, and she was proud of it.
She looked back at Alyssia, who was recovering from the massive spell she cast, and looked around for her extra skins of ale.

" Now where did I put my back pack, near my seat? Or in my tent."
She spoke quietly to herself as she stood up, and wandered over to her area of the camp.

" If I cant find it, I bet Goth-"

Loda stopped dead in her tracks, and quickly looked around, dropping her back pack, the skins of ale spilling out, and one busting open onto the ground.

" Gothard, Gothard! where the in the hells are you!"

In the heat of the fray she had forgotten that he had ran out to help Draven. She tried to remember where she last saw him run to, and started sprinting towards the spot.
The only thing she could hear was the dead silence of the night, and her quick foot steps. For all the night creatures of the night went silent quickly after the battle started. But that was it, it started and now its over. She couldnt hear anything else around them, no scuffling, growling, grunts, nothing. If they were done, Gothard would of surely of come back. Unless something had happened them.

" Oh please, let not harm come down upon Gothard."

She ran into the dark, through the bushes, and started to search for them both. Gothard and Draven.

FireWind crawled out of the window and over the cat walk with the item in hand. It was a difficult maneuvor with this person he was carrying, and the rain didnt help at all. He felt a drop go in his eye, and it stung bad. he felt sorry for his companions with open wounds crawling all about. he could feel the sting in the cuts and scratches he had collected through out the fight too. He slightly stumbled, partly climbed down the slippery fire escape, and soon got down onto the platform that Spiff was on.

" So, what do w- hey! that ladders already down, atleast something went right, ready to go?"

FireWind waited for his boss's reply, but he just stood there, staring at someone. then he said something.

"Yes, now where the hell are those wheels?"

He looked down below, and squinted, seeing through the rain a group of people. Focusing in a little more he realized who they were, and tensed up, his grip on his package tightening, and senses sharpening. But they couldnt be all that hostile if Spiff was chatting with them.

" What now Spiff, do we get on down after em and hope for the best?"

( just tell me if i need to edit something, like if Firewidn actually doesnt knwo who it is down ther or anything like that)

(OOC:Jozan its Tann, you know all of the people below you but 1 and thats Raven's character Guardian. You know me as the runner who hired you on and Digitalscribe as the guy that intro'd you to me. So you know we are the good guys for the most part .)

( alright, thanks, I wasnt sure who he knew or not, so thanks for clearing that up =) )

Loda gasped at the searing pain that crawled up her back and body, smothering her in its deadly embrace. She turned around, and looked at the hell hound, and soon realized she was shieldess. She ran over to the bench she once sat at, and grabbed her shield, and weilded her axe, ready for battle once more. Gothard, at her side, was just as willing. Soon the two of them engaged, tooth and axe trying to tear at the beast itself.

( quick post, sorry couldnt be longer, no time)

Firewind stood there as the orders were being given. He watched Spiff move over to the couch, his wounds obviously not hindering him to any degree, and decided that he can wait to be patched up much later than he first thought. They pushed the couch against the door, ensuring that if those gangers wanted to get in here, they'll have to bust and break that door down with all the strength they got.
Firewind backed off from the door, and now he needed to cover the girls face with something. But nothing of use was around, so he would of just had to make due.
Grabbing at her top, he tore it off and wrapped it around her head loosely, making sure her face was not to be shown.

"Don't go undressing her, put this over her head."

" Yeah man, I got it. "

Fire wind caught the jacket and put her top bac down over her chest, and put the coat over her head, stopping any camera from seeing her at all.
He tookhis beretta and holstered it, and dragged the girl into the office, following his comrades. He layed her down on the floor, away from the entrance, and stood next to Spiff, who was staring at the glass.

" So this is our exit the huh, ya think it'll work?"

Fire wind stared back at it, and braced himself for the answer he was going to get back.

oops, sorry about that. I thought there was since when I read Almerins post it said that the hound jumped back next to the camp fire, so I thought it was in view. Let me go read that again.

alright, I see where I misread.

"The creature howled, but then suddenly stopped, and ran for the bushes, and towards the campfire. "
I thought it said it was AT the camp fire, not running towards it, i'll go edit now, sorry about that.

alright, i changed it so the theme of the post is from * hellhound* to * ale*

Loda winced at the scicle that pierced her skin, but still held on, and slammed her axe deep into the villians chest. He fell over, dead, right on top of her. Gothard was tearing at the dead mans clothes, still engraged at the fight.
" Gothard! Calm down, he's dead, no need to harm him any more."

With that Gothard backed off, and walked over to the seat where they were both sitting before the fight started, and started to lap up the ale they had left to rest. Loda rolled to the side, pushing the dead man off of her, and stood up. Now at her feet, she wanted to get that scicle out of her as fast as she could, but looked over, realizing that Alyssia needed the healing more than her. Loda moved close to Alyssia, and concentrated, mending her wounds with a spell of clerical abilites. Combined with her spell that she was casting on herself, it should get the job done. "

Now, let us see to Draven if we shall, Let us see that his fate does not become the same as this man's."

Loda seen that Alyssia was deeply shaken by the killing, and sympathized with her.

" Alyssia, do not feel sorrow for this tortured soul, you should feel happy now that he cannot take any more innocent lives, and that his own, has now repented for the many sins he had committed before his encounter with us."

Loda looked over at Gothard, who was still drinking up both his and her drinks. She sighed, because she had the same idea in mind.
She looked over and spoke out in a stern, serious voice to Alyssia.

" You should go look after Draven, and make sure he is not in to much trouble, Gothard and I will follow you i second, after I get myself healed up, and find out what is with this guy here."

With that She started to cast her own spell upon herself, and once she is done, will go and loot the dead mans belongings, to see if he is a part of some cult, team, or anything of the sort.
( I will heal Alyssia a little, heal my self, loot the dead guy, then follow Alyssia. )

Subject: the battle rages....

Loda watched in horror as her friend Alyssia was carved up one attack after another, but was amazed at her stalwart concentration, and drifted up into the air. Loda pushed on with her attacks, and heaved her axe once again, trying to cleave the assailant in two. Gothard went straight for the mans ankles, trying to knock him off balance, and get him to the ground. They both were angry, not only at the fact this man betrayed them, but they didnt get to finish their pints either. This man will pay for the devastation he had caused. But the battle seemed a little empty, where was everyone else?

( ok, I will keep attacking him with the axe, wieling in two hands once again. gothard will try an trip the man to the ground)

If you need a guy to play Firewind, I'll play for him. I play Shadow Run in real life, so this looks like it wont be as much as a challenge as I once thought. Tann invited me, and Bromeren, I dont think we've been in many games together, but I can post whatever quality you need. It'll just take some time, thats all =P
