Wow, seems like you have a full plate there in the real world! Pop in just to say hi sometime. No matter how much fun we have here at the Inn, or how often we visit, we live by the credo Real Life Comes First. Maybe someday people will be able to list their accomplishments at RDI on a college app and have it mean something. . .someday.

Learn when you must, game when you can!

Merle's new nickname ought to be Lefty--unless we should start calling him C.H.U.D. instead. I wonder if that helicopter swept him away. . .still, after his frantic pleading to his higher power, then callous recant moments later, I'm pretty much done with him. We Lawful Evil types value loyalty.

Ahh and now we see the more mercenary side to Dale, if briefly--interesting.

I don't think the New Zombie Order has quite sunk in for Glenn, as much as he hated what happened to his new whip. Ah well, plenty more out there, if he wants one bad enough.

How much of Shane's butt-whooping of the wife beater was just internal angst and self-loathing externalized on a convenient target? Quite a bit, I think.

Gotta love a son's indomitable optimism in his father. If anything happens to Carl, I will be seriously put out.

Oh you teleport out of the Inn just fine--to find yourself in my abode in Nessus. That coal-black, chainmail-wearing dog the size of a warhorse? Yeaaahhh, that's my Nessian Warhound, Mr. Chompy staring you in the face, eyes blazing, fangs drooling. He comes ever closer to you, a low growl deep in his throat. His wet nose comes within inches of you, and you feel the hot sulfurous breath of the beast as it sniffs you like a tasty snack. Thankfully, after all the time we spend in chat, enough of my Infernal smell has accumulated on you, and he decides you're okay. I still wouldn't try petting him, though. Just sayin'.

On a natural 20 you determine Ody's just acting like he's cured--more intensive therapy must follow!

I roll a Heal Check to help Rollkran get over his under-the-weather-ness so Oldwizard may continue more or less on schedule.

Looks like the Ice Haunt gave Faustus the COLD shoulder!

Yes the line work is much much better here! Several of us discussed at length the improvements, the story and the great expressions in the strip during a mammoth chat session yesterday. All of us were quite happy that vybeosa's finding her way nicely with the art and how the boss fight is unfolding.

Looks like the Ice Haunt *Steve puts on sunglasses* has a CHILLY reception for the party!--YYYEEEAAAAAAHHHH!

Thanks once more, you two!

Why did "Korgoth of Barbaria" only run for one episode?

Scratch that. That's a horrible question. . .retry

Whose skull is this?!

Tiamat actually lives in Bizarro World, and when he "criticizes" you, it's actually praise where he comes from.

How do you kill that which has no life?

"Connor" 110%! 'Tis a strong masculine name! Not like Hunter or Taylor or Dakota or these names from the 90's that both boys and girls had Yes, yes, a thousand times yes! Oh, you could compromise and name him Connor Gabriel. . .

THAT IS SO WIN!!

My only caveat about "Gabriel" is the last consonant sound of that is the same as the first consonant sound of the last name and that grates against my sense of aesthetics. Just my little opinion.

Faces are greatly improved in this strip's art! Ice Haunt's expression in the penultimate panel was fantastic! I'm glad to not see Rich this time owing to the drama rising in the story now. Heh, maybe he's saving all his puns for the denouement and will unleash a torrent of them later.

I think we all see ourselves (or our DM's) in Steve on that last panel--Nice!

Worth the wait, Boss! Thanks to you both!

I chalk it up to odd cravings brought on by Meri's delicate condition--hopefully it'll pass with the new Innmate's arrival.

At this point, I'm scared to like the show TOO much (remember my penchant for picking failing comics in the past?).

Don't count Merle Dixon out just yet, Tann. Soon they'll make a rescue attempt, going on the previews. The story will be more interesting with him in the mix. Then Merle (really?? That's the name for him? *shrug*) _and_ his brother could have a better chance staging some grab for power within the survivors' group. Personally, I don't blame Shane and Lori for the relationship they've established. What is unthinkable within the framework of society pre Z-Day oft becomes pure survival either on an individual or species-wide basis. So the two of them hooked up. Given the situation and rational assumptions tied thereto, I just can't condemn them. Granted, when Rick gets back the three of them are going to need a loooong talk.

Still want to see Morgan again, sooner rather than later.

By way of welcome, here's a bouquet of flowers and a fluffy face towel--keep it handy! Plus your first spiced mead is on me.

You can find games of nearly any edition here, and not just fantasy games--Sci Fi, Horror, Cyberpunk, even a Pokemon-based game. Or, if you're more daring, you can put up your DM shingle and see who comes calling.

Welcome to your new digital home, Pudding!

I lost my taste for ketchup many years ago. I discovered Heinz 57 goes much better on french fries. I like mayo (sparingly) better than ketchup on fries. Mustard (brown). . .steak sauce. . .ranch dressing. . .barbecue sauce. . .I just no longer "get" the connection between tomatoes and potatoes.

Your stunt double is a Senator in the US government. She performs all your dangerous stunts--flawlessly. However, when payday comes, she keeps mistaking the cash for "feed" and eats it. You'll get it. . .about three days later.

I wish for pyroboom's karma to reverse itself, so that it reads (as of this posting) 31 Applauds, 3 Smites.

Two more, and he's on the top ten leaderboard for most negative karma. I do not wish to see this happen.

"Ranger Rick took that axe
and gave that deadite 40 whacks.
And when he saw just what he'd done,
He turned and gave it 41 (more)!"

Where have I seen that tactic used before. . .House of the Dead 2, I think. Still makes sense, though. (Yes, I've seen that movie. Shoot, I own the first one on dvd.)

I do want to go on the record as being a bit offended at the use of the term "geek" in the show. Catchy, but inappropriate.
