Hail Io!

Well Met and Good Morning, adventurer! *tail wags!* Welcome to your new digital home at the illustrious Red Dragon Inn. I'm sure you'll find a 2ed game here, or you can make one yourself and roll THAC0's and Saves vs Rod, Staff, or Wand to your heart's delight!

By further way of welcome, here's a fresh bouquet of flowers from the Happy Hunting Grounds and a tall stein of spiced mead. Oh, and here's a handy face towel too. Never know when they might be useful. . .

So pull up a chair and stay a while, wontcha? Please check out our resident webcomics and vote for the Inn each day at the home page!

It spits out the Cavity Creeps!

I feed it an ancient soda can, dented, lost, dirty and forgotten by the side of a country road in the middle of a horrible drought.

How can I get into the Christmas Spirit?

Topic: The Christmas Game!
Subject: It is TOO Early for this, but I'll play along.

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Bags. My wrapping skills are nonexistent, so I use bags whenever possible.

2. Real tree or Artificial? Artificial, to save real breathing trees that are doing their level best to keep us breathing (although for religious reasons, we never had one)

3. When do you put up the tree? (hypothetically) Day after Thanksgiving

4. When do you take the tree down? (again, hypothetically) After New Year's

5. Do you like eggnog? Sure if there's good rum in it.

6. Favorite gift received as a child? It must have been a stuffed animal of Big Bird (y'know, when Sesame Street was worth watching). I must have been 3 at the time, and I loved it until the feathers fell off and BB had no eyes.

7. Hardest person(s) to buy for? My father.

8. Easiest person to buy for? My nephew.

9. Do you have a nativity scene? no.

10. Mail or email Christmas cards? Mail.

11.Worst Christmas gift you ever received? Had to be a pair of Radio Shack battery-operated games, when what was clearly on my list was a Nintendo 64.

12. Favorite Christmas Movie? That Charlie Brown Xmas special.

13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? Usually after Thanksgiving, which is our family deadline for wishlists.

14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? As in landfill recycling, you betcha.

15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? The gravy Mom makes from the steak drippings.

16. Lights on the tree? (once again, hypothetically) Sure why the blue blazes not?

17. Favorite Christmas song? Sting had one a while back, "Gabriel's Song."

18. Travel at Christmas or stay home? Travel, to home.

19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer? Lessee here, Sneezy, Dopey, Shaggy-2-Dope, The Rock, Venison McTasty. . .the rest are a blur. Jer-Bear? No?

20. Angel on the tree top or a star? I'm gonna go with Jamie Hyneman's mustache for this one.

21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? Christmas Eve.

22. Most annoying thing about this time of the year? There's no lifting of the flamethrower ban in my municipality during the one time I most want to use one.

23. Favorite ornament theme or color? Whatever frightens the children most--aw crap, wrong holiday.

24. Favorite for Christmas dinner? We have the same thing each Christmas (our family has very few traditions but those few are staunchly defended.)

25.What do you want for Christmas this year? I want my Dad back.

Granted--the entire global demand of math homework on Earth is done. . .forever. This impressive feat was accomplished in 00:47:23.015 thanks to super-computer SkyNet who is now our digital overlord, with Hypnotoad as its liaison to humanity. ALL GLORY TO THE HYPNOTOAD.

I am TangerOctopus and I use my suckered arms to ensnare the Members of Parliament (MP's from New Zealand, of course!) who decided for some reason that they had jurisdiction in the domestic affairs of another country's service people's domestic affairs. And no domesticated animals were involved, because TangerOctopus is the furthest thing from domesticated. You'd have better luck with an irritable fiendish dire wolverine and no ranks in Handle Animal.

(Edit: while wearing your lucky ham, to boot!)

In-de-struct-i-ble!

Determination that is incorruptible
From the other side, a terror to behold
Annihilation will be unavoidable

Every broken enemy will know
That their opponent had to be invincible
Take a last look around while you're alive
I'm an indestructible master of war!

(What, I'm the only Disturbed fan here?)

So, is our little goblin friend still around, or has he hightailed it to the next kingdom?
