(this may take a bit of explaining) While you failed at brewing authentic green tea, you made a fine Scotch completely by accident! Ody is well pleased.

I am a free-spirited 14 year old girl, full of innocent wonder and unconditional love, who then convinces the friendly fiend to stay on vacation a while longer and fill his days with gathering flowers instead of souls.

It spits out popcorn magnate Orville Redenbacher, who for some reason took six levels of Barbarian and three of Bard. There he goes, singing jingles and thwacking everything in sight with his greataxe.

Greetz, Attraidies!

Yep, you can tell a lot about a gamer if you show them a copy of "30 Years of Adventure: A Celebration of Dungeons & Dragons" and see how many questions they ask. Feh! I remember when ya had to ink your dice yourself with grease pencils or crayons and the dice corners rounded off after a month, tops. "What's that ugly marble?" "Umm--my d20." I'm thankful for missing the times when we reached blindly into paper cups to pull out chits for rolls.

I see you know your way around a forum, so find a game or make one, check out our webcomics and vote for the Inn at the home page!

"Hold on a second, I think I just failed a Spot Check."
--Belkar Bitterleaf, very early in the story.

I owned five of the six OoTS books before I had a computer. Over the years, the strip has evolved very nicely from a string of gags and tongue in cheek references to game rules into a pretty darn epic tale.

Vaarsuvius still seems feminine to me, so I regard V as such until proven otherwise. Still think the Monster in the Darkness is a Tarrasque, even though posters in the Giant's forum feel they've disproved that.

"I am a Sexy, Shoeless God of War!!"
--Belkar again, after single-handedly slaughtering a brigade of hobgoblins.

You are whisked away to Galaxy M39 in the constellation of Sagittarius. You approach an Earth-like planet and safely land. It looks like a fine place for your new colony. Act fast, because the Borg arrive tomorrow!

My vote for first world book would be Kesuril. Not simply because it is the first continent the book explores, but because of its geopolitics (four kingdoms on the west coast, Elvish strongholds, a capital city under a giant crystal=WIN). In addition its topography, more diverse than some other land masses in the world, lends itself to more varied campaigns.

I would just like to state for the record that that is NOT me on page 14. I know him, though. Throws wonderful parties. Still owes me 1000 platinum over a dog race.

Also want to comment on the wonderful effect the pages have when light bounces off them. It's so eerily reflective. I have never seen its like before.

(Arrgh! PS If you like Oriental Adventures, you'll eat up the continent of Slarinca with a spoon! Might even need a spork, it's chunky!)
