Topic: Continuing Where We Last Left Off Q&A
Subject: Adrian

I'm on a new computer since we last spoke and have lost most everything on the old one. The only sheet for Adrian I have is level 6. I believe we've leveled up since then but I can't find an email or PM with the updates. Do you have anything?

Every time the cursed fighter hit something with his weapon, there was a 5% chance of letting it fly or 5% chance getting it lodged inside the baddie.

Of course, this was automatic on a critical hit

Topic: Dear Ogre
Subject: ha!

Dear Princess Edible,

In my day, ogre kids played "smash stuff" and "eat stuff" a lot. If ogre mommy let us out late we played "smash adventurer" where we went into dungeons and.... um, nevermind.

Ogre kids today spend too much time on stupid facespace thingy.

Signed,
Old-Fashioned Ogre

----------------------------------------------

Dear Ogre,

Where do you live? I recently swore a blood-oath to a king that I would purge his land of ogres in return for his daughter's hand in marriage.

Just wanted to make sure you live somewhere else. I enjoy your column and don't want to have to kill you.

Thanks in advance,
Thorough Ogre-slayer

DM and her twin Brianna have been staples here for about a decade. They participate in nearly every game and add a well-needed sense of stability here. Glad to hear she's doing better. Pneumonia is beatable, as are blood clots and even cancer. Best wishes yet again.

Subject: another question

How old is the group? I had placed them all around 23-25 - with Tim somewhere in his early 40's.

Now it seems like they range early-to-late 30's, only a few years shy of the old mage. It is definitely refreshing to see them in a more lifelike state. Amy and Dalana especially lol

I had that concern too, but remember most of the tabletop scenes will be reusable to a degree, so that should cut down on some of the work, right?

But yea, echoing concerns of "dude that looks like a lot of work"

Very cool! It's nice to not have to compare artists. The style is much more realistic. I can't wait.

I don't know of many comics that use the same artist (and even if they do then the art forms are different) the entire run.

Can't wait for the triumphant return.

wow that's actually pretty good. Not really into death metal (but as any metalhead should I appreciate all the subgenres if done well) Who writes your music? Group effort?

I especially like the Out of Amsvartnir opening and the bridge in Hanging Tree around the 2:10-3:40 mark. You have a hell of a melody writer.

So in the past 6 months or so that I've been wishy washy, here is the 30 second version:

Got married, bought a house, moved, changed jobs, got glasses, started back to school, replaced a roof, hosted my first bbq, and somehow managed to obtain a rabbit.

I've been limited to the iphone but now we have fios hooked up and the computers unpacked so I will try to ease myself back into the inn here. Maybe start with a blog or something.

I chalk it up to short attention spans. Ask Ayrn. He was running Dawn of Defiance online here, and was able to accomplish in months what my tabletop group did in one session...

I am about to start experimenting with chat-based weekly gaming sessions. See if that does any better.

The most successful DM IMHO here is either Bromern Sal, Alacrity, or Greygrey. All three have had at least two long-running very successful games.

Dragon Mistress and Brianna have had the longest-running game on the Inn, and Tann'Talas has a good runner-up, but both games have a revolving cast of characters unlike the others above.

I don't have that magic touch. I've had one successful DMing experience in the 6 years or so I've been here.

Topic: Concerning the Malebranche
Subject: well

Well, the Monster Manual 2 was never reprinted after the 3e/3.5e conversion. They did release an update to 3.5 with various changed stats. Here is the Malebranche updated changes:

Devil, Malebranche: Outsider; 15 ft./15 ft.; DR 10/good;

Balance +1, Bluff +19, Climb +13, Diplomacy +2, Intimidate +21, Jump +32, Listen +18, Move Silently +18, Search +19, Spot +18, Tumble +20;

Cleave, Flyby Attack, Great Cleave, Improved Sunder, Multiattack, Power Attack; LA —; Gains baatezu subtype, revised baatezu traits.

Regeneration (Ex): A malebranche takes normal damage
from acid, from holy weapons, and from attacks that deal holy damage.

So short answer is yes there is an errata The DR and regen is much more manageable.

Welcome to the Inn!

Edit: I wish they would have reprinted a hardcover MM2 into 3.5. It's my favorite monster manual and I hate having to reference the errata all the time. Fiend Folio as well.

Edit2: Here is the link to Wizards to the 3.5 updates for the non-reprinted books.
