Solid as in credits, or solid as in a blaster bolt?

It was a bit surprised at the sudden treatment by the guards, but even more surprised by the Jedi's defense of his dignity.

"Officers, I must agree with my Jedi companion. This is a registered medical frigate - you should have received my registration when we docked, if not I can get it for you again. But this ship is full of very delicate and very expensive medical gear, all privately owned I might add.

The bacta room alone is worth more than 200 thousand credits, and would be ruined by such an inspection as you are suggesting. So check our credentials, but remember that we are indeed citizens of the Republic."

He didn't add the fact that there have been Hutt spaceports with less rigorous security - and there might be a few items of ill-repute aboard his ship. A full search is not what was needed at this point.

He shot a glance to the Rodian. Can't you help us out here? he thought nearly aloud.

I need a little more time. There are some *very* important issues going on at work right now that I need to resolve. I just can't seem to focus on star wars right now. I'll have a post up in a few days.

I think I've had swine flu or something (not really, but it was a pretty bad infection) these past few days. Even had to miss work. Spent most of it in a Nyquil induced stupor. Anyway working up a post tonight.

You are aware that the bloke that played Bones is none other than Eomer from Lord of the Rings, right?

I saw it Sunday. Overall A+ with spades. I agree there were some classic moments that were just a bit *too* cheesy (pure fanservice) for my tastes, but it wasn't enough to be annoying.

All the characters were perfectly cast, but I must agree that Bones and Scotty easily stole every scene they were in. I think they wanted to emphasize sides of Kirk and Spock that we never got to see before, and that's why their personalities were a bit... overdone. It was interesting to see them still very raw.

Anyway it was fresh, modern and still strangely familiar. Go see it while it's still in theaters.

They needed out of here now. The only real options were Dantooine and Ord MAndell. They had both a Jedi and a Republic Official with them. As the blaster bolts began to fire, there was only a split second to decide.

One of the passengers offering a reward in exchange for a ride made the decision. These guys could take a lesson from this...

Awvoor keyed up the PA from the co-pilot seat. "We're heading to Ord MAndell... strap yourselves in."

Hopefully the hyperdrive would hold up.

The rule of thumb with the Inn is simple, the Inn hates Firefox.

I use firefox and I'm always finding bugs.

I never even thought about it. I figured it would have whatever name the guy I got it from gave.

Any suggestions? I'm really open for anything. I'll try to post sometime tomorrow, but I'm going to shoot for hyperdrive.

Would Awvoor know that Dantooine is a pretty big Jedi enclave?

I would always suggest the local book store - there are still lots of 3.5 stuff in circulation.

There's also always Ebay and Amazon.

Awvoor aimed the ship's cannon at the door hoping for a chance to lay suppressive fire or just take out a Mandalorian or two, but with all the civilians it wasn't really going to work out that way.

He didn't really know what the Twi'lek planned on doing with all those pieces of junk she had salvaged, but that was for another day at this point. The door to the ship fell open at her feet with a loud clang, signalling an escape to the civilians as well.

Hopefully the Jedi would get aboard before too many civies did. It would be a terrible thing to have to "lose" a few to make room.

Taking 10 means you can assume the skill check's die roll is a 10. Normally you can only do it when you have time to focus, but the feat lets do it even when stressed, like during combat. I don't think it really has anything to do with the number of points you have associated with it.

Welcome to the Inn!!

Hurry up you fool! We don't have all day... Awvoor thought to himself. As soon as the Jedi was on that ship they were leaving. If that twi'lek girl wanted to gather stuff from the corpses, then that was her choice, but he wasn't waiting around for a treasure hunt.

He came up on the PA again, the slow droll of his echoy voice filling the hanger once again.

"I'll lay some cover fire if you open the door... but we need to leave stat, Jedi."

Hopefully his point was made as the roar of the engines continued to rain through the hanger.

That Jedi is crazy... he might as well be running into a Sarlacc pit to go back to a Mandalorian invasion.

But, they weren't leaving until Ben was on board, dead, or they absolutely had to. Besides, there was still the problem of a flying Mandalorian. Awvoor bellowed out over the PA - "WE're ready for takeoff... board if you're coming with us!"

His voice was accompanied by the roar of engines and the charging of the ship's blaster. This lone Mandalorian warrior was going down... almost more out of spite than need at this point.
