Topic: Flesh & Blood - A CyberPunk Game Subject: Oxxia
I would say that creating a character is a bit tricky, but playing one is not.
Lucky for you, I can help you create the character. All you need to do in the games is tell us what your character is doing... Brom handles all the rules and dice rolling. Easy-peasy.
Brom, we got space for one more meatbag, right?

Topic: Flesh & Blood - A Night City Adventure Subject: Quick post with the questions
Blossom waited for the goboys to asks their questions before she piped up with a couple of her own. "While I'm guessing Nick's wishing on a star this package was delivered yesterday, are we working with a countdown?" (Translation: Is there a time limit on this job?)
OOC: Assuming some reply.
"Cool. You got transport for us, something to load us and the kid in when we need to bomb out, or we got to make our own way in the city?"
OCC:Assuming some reply.
OOC: Sorry this is short... getting interrupted by kids here.

Topic: Flesh & Blood - A CyberPunk Game Subject: Delayed until late tonight
I'm busy until late tonight.
Brom, if you want to update, Blossom would likely only ask upfront if Starlight is coming with them.
Other than that, I'd probably interact a bit with Casino's and Vegas's obvious staring at Blossom.

Can Blossom give her Agent verbal commands if she wants... something similar to "Suri"?
Thanks!

So, if Blossom wants to be discreet about it, she'll need to do it privately?
Thanks!

Topic: Flesh & Blood - A CyberPunk Game Subject: Hammer
Nope! This is the arrangement:
$500 a piece if we give Saint Nick info s/he can use to retrieve his/her son.
+$1500 a piece if we find and retrieve Saint Nick's kid ourselves (for a total of $2000).
+$1000 a piece if we also kill the kidnappers (for a total of $3000)
Nothing if word leaks out to the media or people close to Saint Nick that we've been going gang-buster and killin folk to get the kid. (well, maybe Saint Nick will pay us something to get the kid back... but no promises, and we'll definitely be on Nick's naughty list)
Running silent on this one, Choombas.

Topic: Flesh & Blood - A CyberPunk Game Subject: Library search
If found us through some DarkNet LinkedIn place, can you make a Library Search check for Blossom for the following:
1) Blossom would do a search on Starlight and try to pull up as much info as she could on the fixer prior to coming to the meeting.
2) With her cyberwear (minivision screen) and wifi connections to her Agent, can Blossom give mental search commands for the other four people runners here in the room with her? Maybe through image recognition software?
3) Having the pic of the kid, and the info of the school, can Blossom run mental search commands to gather an additional information from the DataPool regarding the Jace? Maybe so friend of his posted something online about his disappearance, or there's info on the DarkWeb about the disappearance?
Thanks!

Topic: Flesh & Blood - A CyberPunk Game Subject: Question of clarity, Brom
"... Saint Nick don't want no media, and don't want the wind t' sing of the thing to those Inside. So, we operate on the low. Payday is two grand apiece for delivery. Five large for information leading to recovery by Saint Nick's team, and three grand apiece if those that stole from Saint Nick wind up in a body bank."
So, two questions here, because I think Blossom would actually understand Starlight:
1) Who is Starlight referring when she says "... those Inside."?
2) Is Starlight say that:
- we get $500 each if we pass on info that allows Saint Nick to retrieve his son with his own team,
- we get $2000 each if we actually retrieve his son,
- we get an additional $3000 each if we kill the kidnappers...
Did I get that right? So, $5000 if we get the boy back safe and kill the kidnappers? Or did I miss understand?
3) Also, do we know how Starlight got our contact Agent numbers?
Thanks!

Blossom is the smart and pretty one. Mostly netrunning skills, with a little martial arts and shotgun to back her up.

Topic: Flesh & Blood - A CyberPunk Game Subject: LOL
Thanks for the reply...
Couple more questions:
1) Can I code my own programs for free? (Anti-personnel programs are too expensive for my taste! )
2) My understanding is the I can reuse the nanodust or polymer for any program as long as there is enough weight for the structure of the program. Is that true? (I.e. I could use the nanodust to create a manticore, and then end the program and make the nanodust into a zombie)
3) Is that also true for the mindcores? Can I re-program them so that I make one mindcore run a manticore program, end that program, re-program and run the same mindcore with a zombie program? If yes, how long does the reprogramming take? And is it a skill based check?
Feel like I have more... but I have forgotten them at the moment.

Topic: Flesh & Blood - A CyberPunk Game Subject: 3 questions from me
1) Regarding Giri... do we start with 125 Giri points to spend on NuCybe?
2) How much to mindcores cost?
3) My understanding is that you can't actually buy programs anymore. Do I submit a list of programs that my character has "pre-coded" already for approval?
Thanks!

Topic: Cyberpunk - Flesh & Blood Recruitment Subject: Costs and Running Programs
Hey Brom,
A few questions:
1) Do you have a cost list for purchasing Netrunner mindcores and programs (like the ones on pgs 99-105)
2) How many programs can I run at one time? Can I take any other actions beyond commanding my program(s) in a round (like, fire a weapon or move)?
3) Can I run my programs through my Agent (phone)? i.e. If we're just running out in the streets, doing battle with some gangers, can I rez up some real-space construct to waste them?
4) Do any of the programs have range attacks in real-space? Or are they all variations of melee attacks?
5) Are all the attacks set at STR+5+1d10 for the attack or does my Interface skill modify it?
Thanks!

Topic: Gladiators II Subject: Move, Attack, Move
Hitomi stepped back from the wolf in front, drawing back her spear even as she did so. Out of reach of the hungry wolf's jaws, she drove her spear blade towards the canine once more, before continuing her movement towards Krog.
OOC: As far as movement is concerned, Hitomi is looking to move to Q-11, attack, and then move as close to R-14 as possible

Topic: Cyberpunk - Flesh & Blood Recruitment Subject: Question about realworld ICE
Brom,
I'm wondering two things about the realworld, nanotech, mindcore ICE programs.
1) Can the realworld versions take damage from guns and such?
2) Can a netrunner bring out realworld versions of his ICE programs to fight against gangers and such? (Kind of like how a mage would use Summon Monster?)
Thanks!

Topic: Cyberpunk - Flesh & Blood Recruitment Subject: 203x net questions
Brom,
I might need some help with the character creation too.
Are you using the netrunning rules from 203x? Especially the Mindcore and nanodust stuff where programs can become realworld threats?
Anyway, I'll look to send you some more info on ideas for my character and background stuff later tonight.
Thanks!

Topic: Cyberpunk - Flesh & Blood Recruitment Subject: Link to Cyberpunk 2020 book
Hey, I came across this link to the Cyberpunk 2020 book.
link
While I don't the character creation process, or the DarkFUZION rule system, I'd say that pgs 6-23 would likely be helpful to get a sense of the Cyberpunk world and the various "classes"/"roles" (Solo, Nomad, Netrunner, Techie, etc)
pg 34 also has a list of commonly used "street slang" words and phrases.
Hope that's helpful!

Topic: Cyberpunk - Flesh & Blood Recruitment Subject: NOMAD Description
Nomads were once corporate wage-slaves, who got fired and blackballed from employment, and now they roam the highways as Gypsies and motor-gangs like something out of a Mad Max movie. As life on the road is hard, they maintain strong family bonds. If a Nomad is in trouble, he can count on members of his family to watch his back.

Think Trinity from Matrix, Sarah Connor from Terminator (later ones), Judge Anderson (from Dreadd), Imperator Furiosa (from Mad Max), and a bunch of other strong female characters.
All would make good archtypes for "hired guns".
