Topic: Dungeon of the Unhallow
Subject: David.

David picked up his bow. The comfort that came with his bow being in his possession was overwhelming. And wouldn't you know it, there was a quiver, and some simple other equipment there. David made no mistake in leaving it behind, and gathered everything up. The arrows weren't as straight as they should be, but they were better than nothing in this god forsaken hell hole.

There were other people there which he had noticed a while ago. The past 40 years were rough in this place. Never knowing when... let alone if... he was going to get out. This earthquake had been fortunate though. He was ready to take the chance. Time to extract revenge on those who placed them here. But for the time being, he better befriend those he was with.

"Hey, you two. What're you two here for? And what are your plans to do now that we've been freed from this bloody thing? Cause I've got no intention of sticking around."

Subject: Gboy Gone.

Well, I never thought this time would come... but I'm sadly going to have to depart for a few days. I got lots of work to do.

I will be back on monday evening, only to go on a trip where I won't be able to access internet again.

To all the DMs and Players I have, I will attempt to post on Monday, but no guarantees.

I'm sorry I have to leave, but as we all know (but hate to admit) RL takes priority.

Don't burn the Inn down while I'm gone.

Xavier stood outside with both Selummiel and Satya. The child was in their grasp, and Chiron and Lacey were still tied up inside the house. Well, casualties of war he thought to himself.

And then to make the matter worse, the house began to fade. Well, the two of them better hurry out...

"So, we have the baby... Satya, I guess we should inform you, but Selummiel and I... along with the other two in there... were commissioned to to rescue that child. So, now that we have the opportunity before us, I believe we should take the chance to return them. Chiron and Lacey are strong... They will be able to make it out and catch up.

"In any case, Selummiel, I believe that we should make haste to return to the town. The governor will be wishing to see this child again. Those two will be able to handle themselves." Holding out his arms, he asks, "Shall we?"

D'Artigo's eye changed from an expression of concern to one of shock.

"What? What condition is this? You shouldn't be pressing yourself so hard if you've a heart which doesn't contain all the fluid! Why didn't you tell us earlier?"

A concerned look appeared on D'Artigo's face where his mask had been broken.

"No where have you been drinking blood from? Tell me."

D'Artigo approaches Miv, closing the distance cautiously, coming over to kneel in front of her. "Come now Pale Rose. You know that I'm the one who you can trust. Feel the joy that is life. Eliminate the pain. Talk it through. I will listen."

"Silence isn't going to relieve you of your worries Miv. All silence will do is make you more prone to outbursts, such as which you've already done. Now, hopefully, if you could simply talk, then it would relieve the stress slowly and effectively."

A deep, rumbling laugh came from behind the mask. Keeping with the low, tone, the figure spoke. "I know not my true name. It has left me from when I was originally born. However, my Lady has given me a name to be called by, and so I shall be called by it. My name is Sornek. I have lived around for a long enough time to be capable of doing this task."

Sornek smiled beneath his mask. The voice changing was most enjoyable. It was a favourite tactic, often used when standing in the shadows, so that victims didn't know how many threats there were.

"So Balaar, are you ready to undergo in this endeavor of slaughters and destruction?" Eyeing Banyan, Sornek sighed. Changing his voice to that of a drunken wench, Sornek added, "And of course, the important part... bringing the runts back... alive." Sornek made a small sniff as he said this, as though tears were coming from his cheeks, and that there was a deep sadness that plagued Sornek at the thought of not killing or torturing.

To answer your question Bri, yes. For the HD that you gain from your levels of animal, you also gain HP. However, keep in mind, those HD are d8s, not what you would get for your other class.

"Don't think for a second I don't respect my lady. She gets a wonderful amount of respect from me, and you would do wise to show the same if you're employing her services."

The figure in the studded leather armour's voice was growly this time, with an intense but controlled fury behind it. Giving a snort, the figure turns from Banyan.

"There better be a lot of people in our way. I'm thirsty."

Turning to the hulking brute of a working partner, the figure asks in a childish voice. "So who are you mister big bag brute?"

"Yeah, somehow I think you took that out a horse's ass and gave it to me. Something's up. Just tell me. Seriously, it'll make you feel better."

D'Artigo takes a few cautions steps toward Miv, but still leaves space between them.

"You hypocrite. How can I get over something when you're not even following your own advice and getting over what's plaguing you? Oh, that's right. Because you need help. Why don't you get help? Right. You're too angry. At what?"

D'Artigo also raised an eyebrow.

"Not up for discussion? Miv, everything is up for discussion. And how is femininity going to help you? It makes me want to explore deeper, you seriously should know that by now."

"Oh, so you think that just by not talking you'll be good to defend against me? Pale Rose, you should know better than that. Soon enough you'll break because of the melodic sound of my voice, and you'll tell me all of your troubles so that I may console you."

D'Artigo smiles under his mask. This wasn't going to turn out well. He could feel it. But he couldn't resist.

D'Artigo drops down from the tree which he had climbed.

"Now that was definitely uncalled for. And you can't send me away now. You were the one that wanted me to come. Princess. Stop overreacting and let us know what the hell is going on."

Subject: Oh really, alive?

The person wearing the studded leather armour spoke up, in a very airy, hoarse voice. "And so that is why you brought me here? To bring someone in alive, and in one piece? I thought you more ruthless. Can't you just have one of the brats?"

The person snorted, then coughed softly. When they spoke again, the voice was high pitched, like a young girl. "Seriously Banyan, I thought you more of a man than that when you hired me. Why don't we place on of the little twerps on his doorstep, bloody and decapitated, another we'll torture for weeks, and then we can use the third as a threat. I think that having one of your runts strewn upon the front lawn would be nice... you could even set up a small table, cut out all of his organs, and place them on a plate with a glass full of his blood to drink."

Switching voices yet again, this time to a deep but clear voice, the person continues. "Then, place a knife and fork in his cold, lifeless hands, and give the scene a candlestick. Leave it on your brother's front lawn, and he will awake to a delightful showing of a beautiful banquet; his son looking as though to eat himself. We can call the second dead, when really they'll be taken away to a hidden chamber where we can perform torture on them for weeks and weeks, until they relish the pain. Only then will we put an end to their life."

Another voice change places the voice as that of a common woman. "Then, we'll use the third one to threaten him and get whatever joyful whatnot you want out of this. But must we really bring all three back in one piece?"

The person who wore the studded leather looked around absently, his pale pink eyes appraising everything in the room.

In my armour is my baby, but my baby doesn't like being called out all the time. She thirsts for pain. And she will give it... oh, she will give pain. My baby wants to kill the children... how better to serve my lady? The studded leather wearer thought to themself. A small giggle escaped from under the mask, like that of a schoolgirl. This would be fun.

D'Artigo turned and stared at Miv.

"What's wrong with a little bit of happiness going around? It seems like we need it now, what with everything that's apparently been going on. What do you have against being happy and enjoying each day as it comes to you?"
