Subject: Gracious thanks... followed by a name!

"And so I hold you to your oath." A pleasant smile appears at the same time the woman does, as the invisibility is removed.

"Lorae and Justin? I am pleased that Eilistraee has guided me to such fine individuals in a time of strife and confusion. My name is Alexandria do Iivatess. I am a priestess of Eilistraee.

Laughing softly, Alexandria pats Flame on the head. "Yes, I have met Flame. He is quite a nice fellow."

Moving into the stable, the first thing that Alexandria scrambles around for is her sword. Finding it, and strapping it to her waist, she takes a deep breath, and calms down, relaxing. Then she calmly proceeds to search and don the rest of her belongings, including her finely polished mythril breastplate. She let her white hair run down outside of the armour, making her a rather gorgeous sight indeed.

"Now, Lorae, you said something about meeting the others inside the inn? I will follow you if you will lead."

Arhaedielle, Eldarwen and Pyres sit on the top of the hill enjoying the lunches which the innkeeper in Bree had prepared for them. Fynn seemed so far away now... but they knew that they would return one day... and take revenge on Borghen, bring him to justice for what he had done.

Chatter over lunch was now relaxed, and light hearted, with laughter ensuing, about the simple things in life. No more talk of doom, and remorse.

The lunch lasts only a while, but the talk continues for a long time afterwards. Still conversing when they gather their possessions, getting ready to depart, a cry comes from the base of the hill.

"There they are! Traitors to the King! Kill them!"

At the base of the hill are a small group of four soldiers, as well as one frail looking female in fine robes. The soldiers were clad in black from head to toe, their armour clearly showing the red sword splitting a flame: Borghen's personal insignia. The woman's robes also bear the insignia.

As three off the soldiers charge up the hill, one hangs back, standing next to the frail looking woman. She begins moving her hands back and forth, a spell on her lips waiting to come forth.

Just then, the fourth soldier whips around, now facing the mage as she is in the middle of her spell, and thrusts his rapier at her. Being completely lost in the casting of the spell, the woman is helpless to do anything more but scream as the tip of the rapier enters just underneath her chin and exits above her crown. Retracting his blade, the woman slumps to the ground, a lifeless corpse.

The three soldiers, hearing the scream, stop halfway up the hill. They halt their charge, turning to look at what had happened.

Staring at the woman with an expression of shock on her face, the drow lowered her hands from their readied position to defend herself. Walking back out towards Lorae, she walks directly up to her, and stares into her eyes. Those eyes...

"You have my trust miss. May you dance with Eilistraee until that trust is broken." Letting go of the Darkfire in her hands, dissipating into nothing.

"Now, to show myself, as you have said they do not chase me..." The woman's eyes glow, as she begins to cast dispel magic on the invisibility which surrounded her.

People! There just had to be people in the stables... and two of them heading right towards her no less... Looking at the stable's width, the woman guessed she could squeeze in there... just beside the two riders. But just in case...

Whispering so faintly she could hardly hear herself, and carefully moving her hands, fire began to appear to in them. Stopping her motions, a black fire was burning on her hands, heatless. It was Darkfire. To her, it seemed as though he hands were a torch. But she had used the spell in the above world before, and while her people could see it, not all races could, humans being unable to. It required the strong eyes which were able to purge darkness to see it... some might think it was a silly spell, giving people who could see in darkness a torch. But this made everything seem colourful in the dark, not merely black and white. It also happened to be rather potent when it came to... defending oneself. Following Eilistraee's code, she would attempt diplomacy first, but what a nasty surprise it would be if they tried to arrest her again.

I must get that sword back... she thought. Nobody will stop me

Taking a quick glance back to make sure she wasn't being snuck up on, she saw the man who had made her invisible... and she knew she was seen by him. Motioning for him to be quiet, she turned back and quietly slid in to the stable, back against the wall, as thin as she could manage, so that the riders may pass unhindered.

Um, I just realized Brom... am I supposed to kill the assassin, or bring him alive to the king? It just might be important if I'm to fulfill this mission...

Well... they're all rather awesome...

But I would have to take another X-man... or X-woman rather, and go with Rogue. Not only is she really hot, her power is awesome. Take the powers of anyone else and knock them out while you have them? What could be better?

The woman walked out, deciding to test her divine link with those who shared Eilistraee's ideals. Reaching out in her mind, she beckoned to the dragon on her shoulder...

"Darling? ... Flame... can you speak to me about these people? I have picked up that you are familiar with them... but can I put my life in there hands, knowing that it will be safer than with those guards? I've the option to run now, and guarantee freedom to spread the goddess' word... or I may stay, and attempt to spread it to them. What do you think darling?"

In total silence other than that of her thoughts, she proceeds out of the inn. If Flame couldn't hear her, then she would repeat it later, but for now she decided to try her gift. Taking a quick look in either direction, she headed towards the guard's horses. Her belongings would be there she hoped, and at very least she had to recover her sword...

Matching Eilistraee's ideals = chaotic good and outsider

Baldorf's mood suddenly changed. He looked around a few times, wondering where he was, when he saw the trail which he must have taken. Feeling the pulse of his magical ring around his finger, he willed it to wink out, revealing a slightly confused Baldorf. "Um, what just happened? I mean... actually, I don't know what I mean..." Baldorf looked at the dagger in his hand. Furrowing his brow, he sheaths it, and shakes his head. Seeing the female dwarf, he jumps slightly, and then carefully walks over to the body, taking a closer look, trying to find any other evidence which may be around her. "And I'm still looking for an answer from you guys." He says over his shoulder. "What just happened?"

"Eh... perhaps it is possible to cover more ground and reach our goal sooner if we split up? I myself have never been one for cramped spaces... I have too many pleasant people taking notice of my eye..." Markus' smile is genuine, but the twinkle in his eyes fades slightly. "I could try and find out if there have been any unusually excessive - and by that I mean any at all - communist activity in other sectors. Perhaps this is a conspiracy going around. If it pleases you... I will take my leave." Markus smiles politely, bowing slightly to the group. "May Friend Computer make your days pleasant!" Markus' leaves the group, heading off to his own chambers, his eye watching the group as he walked through the Alpha Complex.

The wind was harsh, fluttering his cloak about. The night was cold, and bound to cool more. Snow covered the ground, making it possible to be snuck up on, but also easy to track those who were trying to hide. A smile creeped up on his face. Pondering the problems of life. Always interesting.

Cynthia... he owed her so much; definitely more than the five thousand royals he could get from this. Not that he could - that he would. He needed this. Ever since his house burnt down, things seemed to get a little rougher. With this job, he'd turn it around.

Inside his cloak, his rapiers rested on his belt. One from his grandfather, one he had purchased. They had aided him countless times before, and they wouldn't let him down now. Gingerly, he stroked their respective hilts, contemplating his course of action.

Money spoke. He had learned much from common mouth, and it only took a few of his precious remaining royal to get this information. This shack was the hiding place of the law-breaking coward who had attacked Count Urolin. He would be brought to justice, and Lloyd von Schtreider was just the one to do it. He decided to get a better view, and possibly overhear things going on inside the house. Pulling his cloak tighter, he began to walk silently, making sure his rapiers did not chink together and make sound, towards the shack, keeping his eyes out for traps or people who could hinder his mission. Inside his brain, the gears where moving, calculating every visible variable, quite a few invisible variables, and even some variables entirely out of the question. But still, there was no room for error in his job. Count Urolin would not die without being avenged.

"Very well. If you save me, I will trust you." The woman replies in the same language which the man spoke to her. Giving a smile to Flame, she whispers to him in drow, "Kyorl dos ulnin, ussta abbil. Usstan zhaun dos orn ragar uns'aa 'sohna (See you soon, my friend. I know you will find me again.)"

The weight on her shoulder was not expected, but it was accepted. Suddenly, the tingle in her body knew that this man was a magic user. Common folk were so startled by magic, that they were often shocked. Lowering her natural resistance to this type of thing, she permits herself to be over come by the magic.

As the weight on her shoulder disappears, and the guards faces change, Alexadria takes her cue to move quickly, and quietly. She brushes past the one who had cast magic on her, and whispered "Thank you. Meet me behind this building if you wish to speak further."

________________________________________________________________________

OOC the part about lowering her natural defenses mean she willingly forsakes her spell resistance in order for the spell to take effect.

"Good." The elf says. "No questions. I like it. Be outside in front of the door once you've gathered your equipment. And it better not take more than fifteen minutes." Turning on his heel, Volke walks out of the room, closing the door behind him as silently as he had opened it.

The prisoner shakes her head slightly, enough to get the hood off, but not enough to disturb flame. Ivory white hair that continues down past the hood into the rest of the cloak contrasts with her night black skin. Her delicate beauty is stunning. "You are nice too Flame. Would you be nice enough to untie my hands?"

She turns to the people behind her, who had just arrived at the scene. Her blood red eyes showing clearly in comparison to her black face which frames them. Flashing them an uneasy smile, she says in her silken smooth voice, "Greetings. If you could manage to convince these guards I mean no harm, that would be much appreciated."

Markus smiles at all of the others. "Yes, friends. What a great event this has become! Us lowly reds are given the oppourtunity to eliminate the communists. What do you say we coordinate our plans? Is anyone willing to personally visit sub-sector 21? Perhaps they still are repulsive enough to taint this wonderful complex with their horrid presence." A pleasant smile is shown on Markus' face. His teeth are perfectly aligned, glistening white in the light. His eyes shine with joy.
