D'Artigo laughs underneath his mask. "So, you have an obsession with being secretive do you? Jessica? It's okay. So do I." Another laugh follows this.

"I shant attack you unless the Pale Rose orders it. Or her life is in danger by your hand. You've nothing to fear."

When the panther had arrived, D'Artigo had jumped out from the shadows, eyes no longer the pale blue, but a blood red color, showing up perfectly against the white mask which he wore. Dashing out he stopped just before the panther as Miv spoke to the panther. "You know this one then? This... lycan? And her name is Jessica eh? Hmm... this job keeps getting better and better."

He takes a few steps back, retreating to Miv's side, his eyes turning pale blue again. "Pale Rose. Good to see you have awaken. Do you feel better?"

Subject: Where's Waldo? Er... D'Artigo.

The black of night gives no indication to where D'Artigo might be. It was as though he walked out and took up a good hiding spot.

However, this was not the case. He had snuck into a nook and waited for Erina to walk past him. When she had, he snuck back into the room he had previously been in. Seeing Miv alone, he speaks in a reassuring, soothing tone.

"Rose, you know that even if Angel would want to burn you, I wouldn't let it happen right? You can't hide what you are. You've got the regal surrounding. You might be timid, but you're royal. No mistake. You're the hope of the people. And you won't die. Not before you see my face anyway."

"After this, Pale Rose. I will watch for those outside seeking to harm you, but first you hear this."

"Why I didn't bite you? Why I didn't but a blemish on the Angel? You ask me why?" Chuckling, he rubs his fingers together as he lets out a sigh, as though remembering the feel of your skin. "Because. When you and I were close enough, so close I could feel your heat against my skin... you whispered you would be willing to burn Pale Rose there to get away from me. Your sister. Burn her."

Turning back to Miv, D'Artigo says. "That is all. If you need me, I'll be outside." And with calm, measured steps, he walks out into the night.

Subject: The Mask.

Under his mask, D'Artigo smiled. It was obvious in his eyes. "Angel, nothing has warmed my heart... which stopped beating a while ago I might add... more than your laughter for quite some time. What they say is true; angels do have the best laughter."

"I fear nothing actually. It is those who fear me. You see, there are men and women out there who seek nothing but to destroy others. That is just evil. And someone has to stand in their way. So I take the burden on my shoulders. People fear what they don't know. So if they don't know me, they fear me. And right before I bite into their necks and taste their deliciously warm blood pour down my throat, I let them see my face. So that they know what they feared all this time."

"So in theory Angel, you are right, I have an obsession-if that is what you will call it- with hiding my face. And if you want to go further with that tone of yours..." He trails off, leaving it open to the imagination what he was going to say.

Subject: Well, well...

"It would seem as though Angel here has manners. You could learn something from her Rose. And since the beautiful lady asked nicely, I have no choice but to comply."

Reaching up to his hood, pale white hands coming from his sleeves, he pulls back his hood. It is now obvious that he is a man, that much is certain. Though below the hood lies not a face, but a head covered in a white porcelain mask. Two eye holes reveal pale blue, almost grey eyes. White hair flows over the top of the mask, cascading down to his shoulders, though it seems to continue on under the cloak. With a small, but elegant, bow. The man speaks to you two.

"Behold! The visage is gazed upon by the women! Behold the beauty!"

The lips on the mask don't move. In fact, it seems like the eyes are the only open spot.

Subject: Closer to women?

"Is that all you think I'm doing? Pale Rose, I'm not trying to get close to you. I'm trying to make sure that no other can. However, if you wish to get close to me, like your angel here has done, then go ahead, I shant object."

Turning to face Erina the figure speaks in a smooth tone, sweet like honey. "You see, being close to me isn't bad. And you call me bloodsucker, how I hate the name. Please, call me by my real name. Sir D'Artigo."

"Also, Rose, nobody, orders me to do anything unless it's in my best interest. All you have to do is ask nice, and I'll pull back my hood."

Noticing the smallest movement in the other vampire, the voice says. "Now there she moves. The pale rose... answer the question. Could you use the help of a full grown vampire at your side... or do you leave me to choose a side which offers more to me."

"As for you angel. Why be something you aren't, when you are what you are now? Use that. Take advantage of it. And if you want to see my face, ask for it. Ask. Plea that I pull back the hood."

"Wings are just decoration. It's what's on the inside that counts. But then again... the outside is a great addition... and the you seem to have both. I've yet to hear your friend speak, but she's got the outside going for her."

Stepping forward, out of the shadows, he asks. "Do you long to see my face, little girl. Do you long to see the face that let you go, instead of biting your tender neck, and draining your blood?"

"Your...sister there... is. Don't fear me. Give in. You know you want to." The voice is filled with mirth. The cloaked figure is obviously enjoying this banter.

"I'm sure the pale rose will take a certain liking to me... most of you do." A small laugh comes out of the cloak, the chuckling of a person who was not really laughing at anything, but laughing nonetheless.

"But, if it is up to her, then she will choose. Seeing as you are mostly female, you could use a little... help. In more ways then one eh?"

Well, if you have two of them swimming side by side...

Angler Fish.

They'd look like car lights swimming toward you. That's unnerving.

"Lycanthropes have delicious blood... and if they are against you... then you wouldn't object to me being with you, and drinking my fill, as long as I don't suck you dry, is that it?"

"And your sister?" He says trailing off as he looks at Miv. "I don't believe you. You know that, right? But still... another fine gorgeous lass. I might join you, if only to stay in your company. For a while."

"It would be fair. Of course it would be fair for both fighters. If you did not have your magic, that is. Both sides see what is being used. Both sides choose fight. That makes it fair. Smart? No. Not even close. But still fair."

Looking down at his arm as Velina puts her hand on it, Almyrikon looks puzzled. He had never had anything such as that done to him. It felt... strange. "Well, that sounds like a good proposal. I will also make a fight fair is someone to big tries to fight you."

"Done now? Night comes soon. We should be getting back."

Throwing you down on the ground, the man laughs. "You are a pretty little girl, and I like that. I'll keep my eye on you."
