"We shall see. I'm ready for anything now really. If they stalk us, then it's their funeral."

"Well, that is a distinct possibility. You're the one with the keen senses Kitten. I would think you'd be better than at figuring that out..."

"We all have things like that in our past. Even me if you can believe it. Scars remind us that our past is real... but that doesn't mean it has to rule over us, does it?"

Would I be able to see Tales from the guard position? Like, where we had been before we searched the caravan?

Subject: D'Artigo

Shuddering a bit as she changed... so unnatural... D'Artigo took in her statement. "People fear you less when you are a panther? I would fear you more... Why do you think that is?"

Topic: Inheritance -- the game
Subject: Hm...

"A fair fight is one thing I always seek. It is the only true test of power one can experience. Anything less... I don't enjoy it. Though it will happen, if it must."

As Velina asks her question, Almyrikon chuckles quietly. "Velina, to answer your question, yes. I have killed before. To add how many, directly or indirectly, hundreds, maybe more. Killing is part of my way of life. It is not avoidable to me. We kill prisoners, other tribes, animals... why I even killed my chief single handedly to take over his position in the tribe." He smiled. "So yes, I have killed before. Have you?"

He looked over at the panther walking with them. "You know Kitten, why don't you even enjoy your humanoid form? Makes for easier communication."

Alright! Mighty bow for the win!

Good game Admiral. Now, a cheap move would've been to shoot for a leaf, and use true strike to aid you. But, we have someone who plays fair in the group. That's good.

Topic: Inheritance -- the game
Subject: Well. Like I would leave you alone.

"Well, as if I expect you to stay the night yourself. This kind of land isn't always safe. And from what I saw in your hands while you were fighting, I must also add, daggers and the best weapons to defend yourself from anything... they're better for starting the offense."

Taking Velina's compliment, Almyrikon nods. "Thank you. You see, I however, take much pride in my work. However little it be. Elven blood runs in my veins, though I don't know why. I'm not going to let some elf think he's better because I have half-human blood. You must feel the same, don't you?"

Subject: I shall.

Almyrikon gave Ether a nod. "Good challenge my friend. I don't know city smarts, but nearly any weapon, I will come to use."

Strapping the bow to his back, he walks over to the heap to pick up the arrows when something catches his eye. That mace... strange. It bore a design similar... No. This was... "How did they get here..? And why not all of them?" Alymrikon's brow furrowed. He had seen this style weapon before, though not the people who had used it. The gorilla totem... hmm. He would have to bring this back... "If nobody else wants it, I want this mace. Ancient tribal grudge." With that, he pushed it into his sack, and looked with one final sweep over the piles.

Snorting, he addressed everyone save Velina. "Well, I do not know about you four, but I think Velina has good idea. As for leader, I don't care who it is. Just pick a chief." And with that, the Bearspaw marched off to follow Velina. She would fare better if she was not alone, and they didn't need any more deserters.

This wasn't about leading. This is about what he said about him being the only one to use a bow. Me? Lead? Surely you jest. I'd be a terrible leader.

"That is what I have been saying. I believe the same from for myself too." Taking a deep elegant bow, D'Artigo says, "And now, I take my leave. Fare you well, My queen." And with that, D'Artigo turned and walked toward the group. What an interesting day...

"That's the smile I wanted to see come from you darling. And though you may not believe it, Angel will probably be less hurt if I make nothing of it. Because I am in no way looking for anything too lasting... at least not now, and not with her... so the higher she climbed, the harder she'd fall."

Topic: The Fall of Our Great Kingdom: Vampiric Tale
Subject: Can't argue with that logic.

"And I can be a raging sex addict rapist. However, it's not about doing everything that we can, but what we should do. Should you be angry that I not only am devoted in service to you, but also agreed to not to have a relationship with Angel? Something seems wrong there."
