Topic: Inheritance -- Epilogue
Subject: As for leader...

I think the person who's best in combat should be the leader...

With nothing but fairness in mind, of course

Well, it was worth a shot... but I believe you are correct Dragonblood, we could use a leader.

Subject: Just. Say. Go.

"Um... does this mean that now we go charging in, and kill them? All you guys have to do, is say 'yes'. Then come in with me, and we shall take the fight to them, before the can react." Almyrikon, following suit, mutters low, but in his eyes, a small light seems to shine. This was what he was built for.

"Meet them we shall." D'Artigo replied in a purely neutral tone, with no sign of emotion behind them. "However, I will not be one to do too much. If you think that I am so focused on my own wants, and not the needs of this group, then I shall act as such. See which you like more."

Subject: My wants.

Watching Lamiel intently as he speaks. After a long pause, he slowly bends down. Laying Erina on the ground, he releases her gently. Rising back up he looks at Lamiel. "My wants and needs are not important in this moment. My means may be my own, but my motives are for the good of our nation."

"I don't know if I'll ever get used to that..." Fyet shakes his head, staring at the place where Tear had disappeared.

Eyes turning blood red, D'Artigo now pays very much attention to Erina. Grabbing her writs, he wrenches them off of his shoulders, forces them together to one hand, and grabs her feet. Picking her up off the ground, and having her hang there by her ankles and wrists, D'Artigo says.

"I don't like being touched. Nor do I like repeating myself. You will find out. Later"

"And Lamiel, you are correct. Some secrets are best left known, and some others are best left unknown. Mine are not the best to know."

D'Artigo continues to look at Miv, almost seeming to ignore Erina close to him.

D'Artigo shakes his head. "You won't know. Until it's almost too late."

"Survivors? Where to start?"

"Don't worry about me being angry at her... however, I'm not upset with you Angel." D'Artigo's eyes show disappointment as they gaze at Erina.

Turning his head to see Tear jump out of the shadows, Fyet makes no move... though he still isn't used to it. "Yes... the shadowed one is here. That makes three of us awake."

"Erina. Now. Out. Of. The. Way." D'Artigo's tone is more deadly than any blade.

A small hoot came from the above tree. A great horned owl swoops down, landing on the ground. Shifting back, Fyet returns. "Yes, little one. I'm awake."

"Erina, leave it." This was the first time D'Artigo had actually used Erina's name. "Pale Rose and I are having a talk, and whether she knows it or not, she's going to need it."

"So it would seem. Bad dreams? What's wrong, let it all out." D'Artigo shifts ever so slightly, having his hands forward in his cloak to catch her if she leapt at him.

D'Artigo skips a beat, almost stumbling. Looking Miv up and down, he says. "Rawr. Did somebody not get a good sleep last night?"

Subject: Where IS he?

After Erina got up, D'Artigo had just sat there. His dream... it was back. So vivid. He could hardly bear it. His life of lecherousness had gotten him turned into a vampire... he could still feel his sire's pull - faint, but there. The ceiling had an interesting pattern... he could probably draw it now, he had spent so much time staring at it, lost in thought. He didn't know how long exactly it had been since Erina had gotten up and left. He just lay there.

With one final heavy sigh, he pushed himself out of bed, back to the basin. Quickly splashing a bit of water on his face, doing his hair in its elaborate braid, and tucking it back beneath his cloak, he silently and casually walked out of the room, searching for the others. He quickly found them.

"Top of the morning."

Subject: BATLLE! YAY!! But I can wait I guess...

Almyrikon nearly jumped at his chance to fight, and indeed he had placed his hand on his axe shaft already. Looking over to Velina though, he sighed, keeping his hand there. Whispering so that the group in front of them could not hear, he whispers:

"Fine. We do this your way. But if you walk up to them, I'm coming with you. There will be no hostages in this fight."

"Didn't sleep. At all. Don't need much." Which wasn't true. He had slept. A sleep filled with nightmares. Reminders of what he had gone through. Same thing that happened most every night.

D'Artigo sighed. It was pretty much no sleep. No one mourns the wicked, so when they die, they haunt people. When they never die... you're stuck with them.
