I myself use this site to download... it's got a decent supply, and it's easy enough to find most of what you're looking for.

In the case that this opens things for request, I request that Complete Scoundrel be allowed for next level.

Llyod carefully searched the wagon. Interesting... it was empty, save for a bunch of barrels which were stacked on top of each other. They clearly didn't leave any room to hide in the wagon. Unless... Lloyd's brow furrowed. Methodically, he began tapping on each of the barrels, testing whether they were full or not. If one was hollow, it was possible that the man was hidden inside of it. And that would be his ticket to the reward.

At Witigus' question, Lloyd drew in a slight intake of breath, but didn't change his actions at all, still tapping away of the barrels. In a seriously low voice, Lloyd whispered to Witigus.

"Aye, I do have reason to believe this has to do with the assassination. Stakeouts do wonderful things like that. I heard a man, his name was Tales, talking with someone, or something, inside of his house. The second voice told him that a man named Madius would get him out of the city, and they'd be safe. Tales had no idea what Madius looked like, so he got a physical description... which matches that man right there perfectly. This Madius is trying to sneak the assassin out of the city, and I'm just making sure that he doesn't get away with it. Justice before fairness, you know?"

Lloyd glance up taking in his surrounding. If Tales was in one of these barrels, then it would be a gentle revealing. With one hand still tapping on the barrels, Lloyd faked a shiver, and stuck his other hand inside of his cloak, as though to warm it. However, what he was really doing, was resting a hand on his rapier, so that it would be easy to draw if need be.

"Please, friend, try to calm yourself. It does not matter how we know about this, only that we do, and that we are willing to help save you. All we need is a bit of supplementary information so that we may keep you safe, and ensure that these enemies of yours do not attempt to come after you again."

Brother Perrin was surprised at how much these people did not want their aid. Their village was in danger, their people disappearing, and yet they didn't want help to find a solution... how very strange indeed.

I was thinking of playing a rogue/wizard. However, I would be focusing more on the wizard part than the rogue part. It's simply for the requirements of my Prestige class which I want to opt into that I need a level of rogue. I probably would take a couple though, after I finished the class, to benefit from the reflex save, extra sneak attack, and evasion.

However, it would seem as though we are lacking a straight rogue... so that could work if you wanted it.

Subject: What if...

What if the person who requested the book be added was able to supply a link to that book, in case of the person not owning the book in question?

I mean, I don't physically own any of the listed books besides the PHB I. But, I have the PHB II and DMG in PDF format from a download site. Would that work? Just giving out the link?

Because I myself often build my characters towards a certain class... and if a class is restricted at creation, then I am left with few choices...

Could I request a book to be available right now? Like, request it to be available next level or something.

Okay, fine... and there goes the idea of the sneaky half-vampire.

Still making a rogue character...

May I inquire as to how "Books will be made available as they level." works? Does this mean that prestige classes may be possible from other sources at sixth level?

"The child is now doing quite well Brianna, thank you for asking. She was ridden with poison, but through Eilistraee's grace, she was cured of her affliction. She now dances with the Dark Maiden."

Ordering a plate of eggs, Alexandria sits down, and begins to eat. She hums softly as she eats, a haunting melody.

"I myself do not need to purchase an outfit like that. Eilistraee's loving care shall protect me from any extreme temperatures which we encounter."

Turning to Devon, Alexandria smiles a warm, welcoming smile. "Hello there Devon. I do not believe I have properly introduced myself yet." With a deep curtsy, she says, "My name is Alexandria do Iivates, and I am a priestess of Eilistraee. As a new addition to this group, I cannot say that I speak for them, however I do believe that the more people which we have with us, the better it would be."

"Yes so it would seem... though what better place to find people who are just seeking for that rock which to lean on than a world where everything that one thought existed shatters? What better place to be that rock that everyone looks for than that world?"

D'Artigo chuckled, this chuckle turning into pure mirthful laughter.

"Kitten, what better place to help everyone cover their eyes to the horrors of the world than a battlefield? This is my world, where I thrive. People are much more loving in times of strife."

A small thudding accompanied Ike's movement as his hoofs hit the ground. A rather impressive city was before him, one like he had never seen. Not like he had seen many cities of villages before, but he had seen some. Letting out a whistle, he reined of onto his rear legs, and stopped his movement.

"What big city. Has anyone seen a city like that before? I haven't..."

Ike gazed at the city. Standing almost seven feet tall on all fours, he had the bottom half of a large mountain goat, with the torso of a human. At the top of his head grew two large curled horns. He had white hair, which flowed in his horns, and bounced when he walked. His bare chest was well sculpted, with no evidence of fat existent. Strapped to his back were two massive sheaths, with hilts in easy reach of his large arms. His brow was furrowed, in contemplation of what he could sense.

As he observed the city, he noticed that something wasn't quite right... something had everyone on edge. "Do any of you get the feeling that something's not quite right here? Or am do I have my horns in a ruffle?"

"Worship will continue for the rest of the day, and possibly into the morning. You there are at least eight hours for you to wait, if you wish."

One of the guards looks to the other and says. "I will get the horse. The Golden Chalice is nearby."

The other guard nods, and says, "Everywhere outside the walls you can wait. There is no establishment or building outside. Not many people plan to show up around the time of worship."

The guard returns, your familiar horse behind him. Leading him out, and hands the resins that control him to you. He then takes up his post again, a stone expression on his face.

If you do not wish to provide us with the information to save your town, then perhaps there is someone else who is out there who would be willing to save themselves by requesting the aid of those willing to help. Since you do not seek to do so, then I shall seek someone else."

Alexandria finishes her search of the body, and nods. Taking the girls clothes off of the bed, and placing them neatly on the ground beside the bed, and tucks the girl in under the covers. Reaching in to her dress, she pulls out a small obsidian figure, with some ivory also sculpted into it. "I agree with Lorae, miss. You do not need to give us any token of gratitude. In fact, I wish to leave this here."

Placing the figure on the bedside table, it is now identifiable as a naked woman dancing, with long, flowing hair. A sword in hand, the woman has a smile on her face. "It is a figure of Eilistraee. She will watch over your daughter as she sleeps. Your child will dance with the Dark Maiden."

Placing another kiss on the child's forehead, Alexandria whispers, "Sleep well young one. May you live a long, healthy, and joyous life."

Turning back to Lorae, Alexandria says, "Well, I believe we are finished here, isn't that right Lorae?"

An Unknown Forest | Year 593 NDE

Selunine and Trillion make their way toward the city, with Selunine sitting on the floating disk. Trillion's magic had helped Selunine recover, and lessen the pain of her crash. Moving towards the city, idle conversation was made, with simple introductions, and brief histories of each person.

50 feet from the city gates, Selunine gets off of the disk, and Trillion dismisses the spell. Walking towards the city, they are held up at the gates. Looking at the two, The guard says, "No outsiders are permitted to enter during the time of worship. You must come back later. Sorry for inconvenience."

Behind them, you here a voice saying "There you are Trillion! I'm just heading to the temple. Here, I have your extra money." The face of Father Lekain is visible, as he tosses a coin purse at you, making a small clinking sound as it hits the ground. "I'm glad that you were able to find what you left for, but I'm sorry that you can't enter. The law, however, is the law. I've arranged for transport for you, and it will take you anywhere you want. Just because you can't be here, doesn't mean you can't benefit from the powers of this city. If you're looking for something to do, I might recommend heading to Badon. It is quite the hub of activity these days. But if there is anywhere else you'd like to go, then you may go there as well. It is a one way trip however, so be sure where you want to go." Giving a weak smile, he turns and walks away, merging with a large mass of people moving in one unified direction.

Okay, you may discuss whether or not to go to Badon. When you reach a decision, I will post again.)

Outside the Badon Cave | Year 593 NDE

Morasennarion and the girl ate the food which Morassenarion had brought. She began to slowly regain her strength, now sitting up instead of simply lying down. "Thank you my lady. You have shown such kindness to me... I... I don't know how I can repay you. But I'm sure that if I come with you, I will find a way."

"And why must we invent a story about me? Why not simply use my story?" She takes a deep breath, almost a calming breath, and begins to speak.

"I wasn't born into my tribe, I was discovered. Some say I fell from the sky. I was called a prophet child, because I had been able to see things. Whether there would be good food, if there would be danger... I received special warnings. My tribe loved me, though it was not an affectionate love of one of their own, but a love which they gave to a hero. I didn't know love until much later.

One member of my tribe, however, was very open with me, as was I with him. It was the closest thing to friendship and love that I had experienced. I began to think of him as a brother, and he shared the affection, and I found myself taking on the role of elder sister. However, that was not enough. I told my brother that I was planning on leaving that night, and he would not let me leave without him. The two of us followed through with our plan, and left that night.

A few days later, I met a young man named Eliwood. He was in a group, and he noticed me and my brother wandering around, lost. He had a few friends with him, and he told us he was looking for our father. He agreed to let us travel with him. That man was a very kind, and just... and I thought that maybe, for the first time, I was finding love.

However, it was not to be. He fell for another, and I was afraid to tell him my true feelings. Embarrassed, I fled. Soon after, I was kidnapped because of my looks, my brother killed for attempting to protect me. I was truly alone for the very first time.

For many years, I was raped, beaten, and secluded, not being cared for. It was a very hard time... But then, just when I was about to give up hope, Eliwood showed up with his group, and freed me. I was never so grateful in my life."

She fights back a tear, but the tears win and fall down he face. "After that, I was grateful, but he had wed the woman he loved. I left again, to travel the world."

Closing her eyes and drawing in a ragged breath, she calms herself down. "So, that is my story. I don't think I've given you my name either... I am called Ninian. Please, this location is rather empty... Perhaps there is a better place to go?"

As Ninian finishes her story, Morasennarion's keen ears detect someone walking towards them. He did not seem heavily laden down, footsteps being light, and quick. The steps get louder as they seem to be coming down the trail towards you two.

Near Badon | Year 593 NDE

Achilles curses as Linus leaves him. Turning around, he travels along the path back to the city. However, upon reaching a fork in the road, he stops. He had been so caught up in following Linus, he had no idea how to make it back to Badon. He mused, opting for the path on his left. Traveling along the path, he comes up to another fork, this time with three possible paths. At this rate, he would never make it to Badon. This time, he opted for the path to his right. The trees were so dense that he could not see through them or see the city.

However, as he reached the third fork, he hears a faint noise in the distance... perhaps the hustle and bustle of the city, though he is not sure. Walking down the trail, his footsteps hit a few twigs, making a faint crunch as he walks. The trees weren't becoming sparser, so he had no idea where he was.

Kandar has the door in front of him open a crack, a pair of thin eyes looking through. With a scrutinizing gaze he looks you over. "You mus' be the one Linus sent. Ge' in here, quick."

Opening the door enough for you to enter, he hustles you in, the closes the door. Bringing you over to a table with two other people sitting there, but three chairs open, he motions for you to sit, and takes one of the other open seats. "Okay, good. Everyone's 'ere now. So, we all know our job, righ'? Jaffar, you're job's to hunt down Taori and kill 'im. You go' tha'?"

A voice without a body answers "I know quite well what my mission is Brendan. You have no need to remind me."

Brendan spoke again. "Tha's good. Okay, and Sonia, you're off finding tha' dragon, righ'? Linus needs tha' for his plan, and if he doesn' ge' tha', he's gonna be angry."

The woman to your left pipes up. "Aye, I'll get it, don't worry. I hear it's powerless now, and that it can't breath fire at me. With some simple magic, it should be easy."

Brendan nods. "Good. But don' underestima' i'. After all... i' IS a dragon. They aren' exactly weaklings. Okay, Nino, you're making sure tha' the dragon island ge's raised, righ'?"

The woman to your left pulls down her hood, revealing a little girl, about 14 years or so. "Yes sir. I'm going to contact the cleric of Melios that Linus told us about, and he will help me raise it, in exchange for a small price. I have the payment with me here, and it won't leave me."

"Good. And you. Your name's... Volke? Okay Volke, remember your job, to ge' into the Holy City of Alimar, and take ou' the Apostle. Tha'll ensure the city's in chaos, and tha' i' won' interfere in our plans, being to distracted. You go' tha'?"

Before you can respond, a knock comes from the door. Brendan motions for everyone to be silent, and you hear the sound of a pair of daggers sliding out of their sheathes. Brendan walks over to the door, and opens it a crack. He exchanges a few words, then beckons you over. "Hey, Volke, ge' over 'ere."

As you move, he opens the door, a man standing in the doorway, a thin elf, wearing pure black clothes. He steps in, making no sound. Brendan looks at you, and says "Volke, I'd like you to meet... the real Volke. So now, I gotta ask... who are you?" Just past him, the door is open, and you see your Steelwing just outside, where you left it. Maybe if you can get outside... And maybe your Steelwing can help you get away with your new knowledge.

Alexandria was not surprised at the surprised expression on the young boys face. The usual reaction to the of her kind. Instead of taking offense however, Alexandria simply smiled brightly, letting her radiance shine through.

Remaining silent as she moved through the house, Alexandria did a silent prayer to Eilistraee. This seemed like a serious situation. However, a child in need was a child who deserved aid. And Alexandria was not going to hold that back because of racial prejudices.

The girl was in rough shape. Lorae seemed to know her way around healing. However, more could be work than a simple disease or poison. And her eyes radiated magic, Alexandria began to look around the girl for a sign of a magical illness.

When Lorae asks about her magic, Alexandria blinks, ending her spell. Speaking in her calm, soothing tone, she replies "I do possess the power to remove a poison from the body. I will do so, if that is what you believe it to be such. Allow me, and please step back."

Approaching the sick girl Alexandria calmly brushes the girls hair out of the way. He forehead was searing hot, the clear sign of a fever. Time to call on Eilistraee's power. Reaching into the folds of her dress, she pulls out a small black stick. Speaking in a powerful voice, Alexandria says, in drow, "A l'Olath Wenress' yorn, tlu k'olah d'nindol elg'cahl. Xal Eilistraee dormagyn dos." She then pursed her lips, and rubbed the charcoal on her lips, as a woman may do with makeup. Bending over, Alexandria kisses the girls forehead, leaving a small imprint on her forehead. The imprint glows, and begins to fade, being absorbed into the skin. Then, it disappears completely, from both the girls forehead and Alexandria's lips.

Turning back to Lorae and the mother, she says "She should now be freed from her affliction. I will, however, take another closer look, to make sure that there are no lasting effects. Eilistraee's goodness is not limited to her own children, but to those of all kinds. As her apostle, I will not do a simply job, but a complete check, as I would for one of my own. If it is possible for me to cure any additional effects."

Returning to the girl, Alexandria begins such operations as checking a pulse, feeling skin elasticity, observing the eyes, everything she can imagine which would indicate another disease or affliction.

____________________________________________________________

Translation: By the Dark Maiden's power, be clean of this poison. May Eilistraee save you.

Also, I want to take 20 on a Heal check, for a total of 37. I'm pretty sure that if there's anything else, I'll notice it.
