I think that's a really good idea too.

Chris, I think I saw you around rdinn earlier in the week, but I guess you were still unable to finish that update.

Is it something you're working on or something you haven't had the time to do? And if it's the latter is the game going to be on hold for a while?

We should hold a wake for his sad passing.

I like the generator. Looking forward to seeing one for the other races now.

Ah I forgot it doesn't work like it does in 3rd ed. Hmm...so I suppose she'll use it on Isaac because he's less hairy.

Subject: A quick kiss

A quiet silence, broken only by the pitter-patter of raindrops, fell over the narrow trail once more. All around Neri lay corpses and shattered remains but thankfully none belonged to her companions. A few had been hurt, but, as the paladin of Oriana turned to check their wounds, she saw the comforting sight of Shianna reciting a spell of healing.

“Thank Oriana you’re all safe…and Kith’Jora too,” Neri uttered, laying a grateful hand on Shianna’s shoulder. She waited patiently for her spell-casting to continue, before quietly adding the Scarlet Lover’s kiss to any that were still in need.

[If any of the three who were wounded still need healing after Shianna’s spells, Neri will top it off with some or all of her lay on hands. It’ll come in the form of a kiss - and not a chaste one either ]

Neri turned her face to the heavens, allowing the rain to wash her armour and sword clean of the zombie ichor that still stained it. It was only when Shianna voiced her concerns about the need for rest and where they should head next, that the beautiful paladin lowered her glance.

“I think fate led us on this path for a reason. To turn away would be to condemn every villager to death…or worse. If there’s any chance that they are in danger, that some may still live if they were overrun, then we have a duty to help them.”

“If you need to rest,” she added after a moment’s thought, “it may be better to do so here. I doubt any village would allow strangers to enter at night with these monsters on the prowl.”

Well dwarves are an inventive lot, so I'm sure they could invent beard aprons when doing risky stuff.

Regarding beards on female dwarves, I've never thought they would wear one out of any practical benefit. I tend to think they would do so because it was the height of dwarf fashion (those smelly, beardy-weirdys are a strange bunch).

It's a really interesting concept. I'd be interested, but I'm not entirely sure if I'd have the time either. :/

Sure sounds good to me. Although as you pointed out, more often than not it's just simple hack and slash for Neri.

And KM/Kilmor I can call you whatever you prefer.

Hmm, but then we'd have to protect it from the elements while it's lit as well, which could be tough.

A long, melancholic smile wound its way along Neri’s lips, as she prepared to face the group of zombies and buy time for her companions to escape. The paladin of Oriana never thought that she would meet her end in that manner. Back when she was a girl and had first raised a sword in service to the Lady of Hearts she had hoped it would mean a lifetime of loving and being loved – not a lonely, death in the dark.

‘And yet I should be pleased to die protecting others,’ Neri reminded herself, trying to still the troubling thoughts.

She needn’t have. First the Khord, Volkmar, made his reluctance to depart known, and then Isaac confessed that he had no intention to leave her behind.

“Thank you,” Neri murmured in response with a nod at Volkmar and a smile at Isaac. “Let’s form a ring around the others then, and show these creatures what we are made of.”

Didn't the people say the same back in 1999?

I think it's a bit unfair to move adds from where they are now (a prominent position) to somewhere less prominent. Just because a couple of the websites may not have placed the ads in a decent place, it's unjust to penalize those that have.

Would it be possible to have the 'partners' info below the 'latest five updated topics' section? That might be a slightly better place from where it is now, while not reducing its visibility.

KM (sorry it's easier to write than Killmorrigan) I think your plan with Isaac makes a lot of sense.

If Olan doesn't get a post up, and I have some free time, I might post a short reply from Neri to that effect.

I don't have a problem with the links at all, but they seem a bit untidy where they currently are.

I'm not sure if there are other possible locations that are still visible though.
