A cup of bitter hot cocoa.

I feed it a cup of confetti, a rubber glove and a starship trooper.

Topic: The Fates of Fortune
Subject: Morning...

Moonlight drifted down through the leaves above her. The rain that fell from the sky caught the moon beams and sparkled it across her body as it ran.

Thin white Aspen limbs stretched for her, the yellow leaves passing over her damp skin like caresses. Each time she flinched and ran harder, face into the rain. The Elms that danced between the Aspens also reached for her, but the full branches slapped against her body brutally and bounced her back toward the Aspens.

A root loomed and caught her toes as she spilled forward, falling… falling

Cay gasped as her eyes opened quickly and found herself staring into the chiseled grey eyes of a human. Her eyes blinked as she struggled to figure out where she was. The early afternoon light did not reach this place and the candle had long ago burned out and she couldn’t discern what time it was, nor where she was, only that this was not home.

“Quel amrun, Cayrimsa Etellenya,” a familiar voice drifted from above her, accompanied by the grating sound of metal on stone. “It seems I owe you a debt of thanks, yes? And, perhaps, a new dress?”

The memory of the past night came to her now, and she groaned as she tried to straighten up. The knots that had built up in her neck from leaning against the sarcophagus as she slept pulled tightly. Her hands rose up to the knots and she tried to sooth them out.

“Don’t remind me… You know some people believe in pillows you know? I understand you elven bastards don’t need to sleep with your trance nonsense but Gods… even to sit on. My ass is numb and cold… do you hear me? Cold!”

Standing up and arching her back the twin amber stars slid over him.

“Thanks be to Prien you got yourself dressed. I simply couldn’t bring myself to touch you again in order to get you dressed.”

The amber stars pulled off the Twilight crouched beside her and went to her dress. Stains soaked into the weaving. The side seam had also finally split which she fingered.

“Hmmm… as for my dress, it’s covered in Elven blood,” the distaste apparent in her tone, “I don’t imagine that will make it easy for us to get into the Office of Trade. I don’t happen to own anything else appropriate… I’m hungry as well. If you are feeling better, I’d like to get some food, something to wear and get on with our job.”

Deftly her fingers unclasped the shadowed cloak that was still graced over her shoulders.

“And take this back… my ass is cold, not my shoulders.”

The shadow flashed over his field of vision, beginning the day much like it began the day before.

Even though you've already stated that I can't be the princess, , I would like to join up possibly. I'll see what I can come up with for a character idea.

I cannot corrupt this wish! It is simply too amazing to corrupt! Besides I think I'm too hungover on sugar to much care about corrupting it anyway!

*bounces around the room!*

I wish for a purple winged reindeer that lives on sugar cookies and rainbows!

((anyone else notice how often I include animals colored purple in these games? I think I have a strange obsession with purple animals... huh))

Subject: Submissions

Fellow innmates,

I would like to include a 'Creative Corner' in the next issue of the RDInnsider which will highlight a creative endeavor of one of our members.

I'm looking for poetry, prose, art... or anything else that you can think of that would fit with what we do and the word 'creative'

To submit your work either PM it to me or send it to my email [email protected] The staff will be determining which submission to highlight for each issue.

The deadline for submissions will be January 15th.
