Another Drop down? I was just thinking If I go and smack him for a Dimenshion hop on top of the damage, I can direct him 25 feet over the edge of the plateau, which would insight fall damage (much like I just suffered)

Does that sound feasible (obviously pending rolls?)

Are we within 25' of the Edge of the plateau?

I ask because then it may be possible to dimension hop him over the edge and down into the oncoming horde.

Aelistae had graciously bestowed the healing elixers upon those she thought most in need, while chancing failure upon herself and Artanis. She cast the scrolls and watched the magical writings, then the paper itself disintigrate into nothing. She stood there a moment, trying to figure out if anything had happened; but received no mystical chime in her mind stating her castings had been successful. Hopefully that just meant there was nothing to purge in the first place.

Purchases and exchanges concluded, it was time to make headway towards the keep once more, for the party still had many more hours of light in which to travel, and many of the same hours to pray that their endeavors had been true, and none would fall to the affliction of lycanthropy when he moon rose to it's apex once more tonight.

They traveled in a dedicated route for a few hours, before coming across a small stream, where small coy like fish swam back and forth beneath its silver waters. It was a peaceful image to break the monotany of the ride. Passing it over they continue on...

Kimono was puzzled by everything that was happening at once, it was too much for a girl to take!.. almost. "Whatever the secrets, or the connections, we can't turn back now, we've come too far and seen too much. There is so much more to this game than what first meets the eye and I want to uncover it all, no danger or obstace will get in the way of my goals"

Looking through the seemingingly mundane candlestick and scanning the door shows that the 'candlestick' in the actual door appears to not actually be there, and instead is a relief where a candlestick like object could be affixed, upon closer inspection of tactile use, it appears the 'golden candlestick is a well made illusion, even feeling like it is there, though now knowing better, the Dc check to disbelieve is much more manageable and you may proceed as though you know all is not as it would appear.

Silvara's looking for any visible handle or way to open the door, locks or otherwise comes up empty, only the newly discovered illusion and relief are apparent.

"Briefcase?" Chris had tried to tune out much of the bickering that was going on around him, but Jonah's referral to a briefcase snapped his attention back to the conversation.

"There was a briefcase in Jack's inn, under one of the beds in the rooms, I tried to get it myself, but for the life of me I couldn't pull or even cut it out from whatever held it beneath the bed, and before I could move the bed itself for a closer look, I was interrupted by those shambling things out there. As I mentione before, I'm positive Jack's inn contains more information for all of us, as each of us are listed in the registry as having stayed there..."

Chris had to wonder why those that claimed to have lived and grown up here would have stayed at Jack's inn, but the registry and photographs he had found pointed to the obvious; they had been there at some point, or at least someone who knew about them had been there...

"Jack's inn is the most viable option to start looking, and while I'm not thrilled to become your errand boy Jonah, if it'll help us get out of here I'm all for doing what I can. Now, what's in this briefcase that's so paramount?"

Daggerfall was enjoying the revels of his victory not only over the mutant, but the prize it entailed. He could see Tazi's feigned disappointment, but as she shot the mutant in the head and he shuddered involuntarily she proclaimed the killing blow. "Bah, I can make you twitch and shake agains your will with the pressing of a few of your buttons too, The body bends to the seduction of pain and shock all too easily" He said as he looked over the fallen soldier and Mkoll simply leaving him to answer Carrigan's summons.

Raising his rifle and giving a wtf sorta expression, Daggerfall shouldered his weapon and hefted the wounded soldier to his feet allowing him to brace himself upon Daggerfall for support, and if his wound's prevent even that, he'll fling the guardsman over his shoulder and proceed to Carrigan. "She did ask for eveyone and I'd hate to see what you'd look like if you were late."

Subject: Best Merchant Ever!

Firin was certainly a welcomed spirit in contrast to the past few days. With every transaction his projected attitude was lightened even more, as though with each gold piece that crossed his bandaged palms the companions were elevating him to a higher station of life.

Linnix purchased with much enthusiasm Firin’s miracle draught, an odourless liquid that glittered with some reddish incandescent light from within a glass vial fit delicately into a hollowed finger bone, the stopped affixed to a knuckle bone which conveniently still had enough of the sinew and tendons affixed to allow it to bend and close the vial. While obviously not the most pleasant potion to look at, the prospect that it could stave off death was well worth the unsettling appearance of it.

With the potion in hand, she also purchased a new short bow and a compliment of ammunition. Xaris inquired about armor, and Firin showed him a wide assortment of wares, he needed only make a decision (See q/a)

Bartholomew procured an additional week’s worth of provisions, and stored them in the newly acquired bag of holding while Aelistae silently obtained vital information to setting her heart and mind at ease.

Dylan and Talus didn’t seem interested in acquiring anything new, and so with there dealings complete, Firin hopped up on his rock once more and spoke mentally to all around. “You people have been so generous in helping me attain my goals of th greatest merchant to ever live! I like you people, and would very much like to do business again and so I will be very generous in return, and bestow upon you my magic business card. Ingenious I know! I know!” Firin removed a golden hued card and handed it to Bart. “Normally house calls cost a hundred gold each, to help cover the cost of the magic’s in the card, but I have a feeling we’ll be seeing much more of each other, and so I grant you this first one free. Simply tear it in half when you require my services, and I will contact you hopefully within the hour. Remember, when you deal with Firin Ranklefoot, Satisfaction is guaranteed! Tell your friends!” With that he waved to the group before returning to his perch atop the rock.

This gave Aelistae time to go about distributing the potions and cast her spells (let me know who get’s a potion and who get’s a scroll cast please) Satisfied she had done all she could to aid her friends and companions. It was time to make to move toward’s their goal once more. Would Dylan join them? Or attempt to explore this reliquary of knowledge buried and lost to the ravages of war? Had they all been cured of lycanthropy? Would they ever make it to the keep and if they did, would they be in time? (insert ending to the old Adam west batman show here lol )

(I’ll allow a couple days for some interaction, but expect a mid week update to get you on your way)

Subject: Make haste to the capital

Armand and Duenan turned to each other as Barrahen finished reading the scroll aloud, but it was Caduceus that spoke first. “It’s the end of the world as we know it, and by the look in my compatriot’s eyes, we’re heading straight to the zenith of destruction.”

Armand turned to Caduceus and simply nodded. All in the room knew of the battle-priest’s decision before it could be voiced. Deunan too had resolved herself already adjusting her armor for a long ride ahead of her there would be no rest this evening.

“Father we make haste for the Capital, may the divines bless us with swift hooves and the endurance to succeed.”

Caduceus couldn’t help but sigh once more as Armand gently picked him up and affixed him to his specially crafted sling. “Now where’s a Portal when you need one, you two are going to drive yourselves to an early grave.”

“I doubt the good Father keeps one under his desk Caduceus, and we don’t have the time to argue.” Deunan said turning to Father Barrahen. “Unless you’ve got some other little trinket that can speed our leave, I ask we be able to make haste to the Capital.” With that Deunan bowed to the Father, followed by a lowered head of Armand as well, though his bow was not was pronounced.

Thondrek was now firmly up on th Wyvern, practically in the saddle where the goblin rider once sat. Getting there, he knew he had to get the wyvern down and quickly, as casting a glance over his shoulder from his vantage point revealed that the goblin forces would be upon them in seconds. (using free action)

With his sword charged with electricity, he hacked forward at the base of the neck before him, hoping this time his luck would fare better.

(I believe shocking grasp is retained until discharged or a duration elapses, but my books are packed away for moving lol. If I'm wrong just blow another first level spell slot I have plenty )

Kimono's headset vision control went blank for a moment as the ripple enveloped her character, leaving her in a white darkness. When it returned, and she made out the rudementary vector blocks making up the basis of this 'world', she was stunned, even moreso when a moment later Twin Lightning appeared, and began catching them up to speed.

"Beckoned? Called? Heeded?" Kimono murmured to noone in particular, though her footsteps had already begun taking her down the hallway while her player mulled over the thoughts in her head.

"I knew there was a reason we were seeing those white noise flashes and hearing this tone; maybe upon character genration you're given a random numerical factor which allows you to access more 'priveleged' areas, sorta like beta testing new ideas while in a previously stable environment, like bonus levels" The end of her blurb was filled with excitment as her pace quickened slightly, taking her farther and farther down the corridor.

I've added your share of the split leftover party oot giving you 250 gold, more than enough to buy a simple suit of armor. You may deign to purchase any suit out of the phb, at 10% off the alreadt less expensive gnomish size of the armor or to make it easy on you, tell me what you want and I'll add it into the next update tomorrow.

Or you can deign to have Aelistae fix up her old suit of chain into a male gnomish size if you'd like to save some money that way, with enough down time (say the rest of the day/ night) she should be able to adjust it) the time being considerably shorter than making a suit since the material is alread there and she's basically just 'hemming' chain links lol.

Parting ways with Sarah and granting her the gift of her own member adress in exchange, they went back to exploring where the strange tone had come from. Kursado had moved next to where the Chim Chim track went, and with a mighty swing of his blade put his sword right into the wall, causing it to ripple outwards in a strange pulsing motion.

Kiku advised walking away from the glitch, but Kimono's curiousity was more than piqued now. "We can't pass this up guys, we're low enough level that if it's a screw up we can restart should data be corrupted, but if this is a hidden quest or the chance to get something grand, we can't pass this up guys!"

Kimono moved towards the ripple, letting her scythe pass through it.

"Either we wait for something to come out, we we head in, what's it gonna be?"

Thondrek knew that he had t bring down the Wyvern and its rider as quickly as possible. Having drank the potion of spiderclimb, he put his plan into motion. Quickly, he quick cast Dimension Hop to land on top of the wyvern behind the rider, his crystal encrusted dwarven waraxe already coming down in a single arcane strike, channeling a shocking grasp through his weapon in an attempt to bring down the beast and its rider once and for all.

(Targeting the Wyvern he's now atop of)

"Why yes I would have a potion that is said to give new life to old bones. Though Obviously I've not put myself in a position to try it myself. I mean how would I; If I'm dead, I can't drink it. But you, you have friends yes yes! They can feed it to the fallen. I'm told it is one of a kind and thus very valuable. As such I'm asking a paltry 3000 gold. Is there a life worth that much to you young lady?"

"well there are plenty of other reasons to play the game, though fighting... monsters is required for most of them, but there are plenty of people out there who just hang out here in the World for the sake of interaction with different people. you're not required to fight and grow stronger, but if that's the case for you I suggest hanging out in the root towns lest you come across anything too strong for you. By the way, I'm Kimono."

*snickerfit* "Listen Sara, a PK isn't something you ask for, it's not even something you should be thinking about at all, PK'ing just ruins the day of the person you're Pking, and setting back alot of hard work they've done just for you to get a quick thrill. I don't know how you found out about Pking, but juding by your approach you don't seem like some sadistic twirp out to compensate for their own misgivings by taking it out on some pixellated character graphic." Kimono approaches, scythe in one hand open palm in the other offering her a hand up.

"We don't much care for PK'ers if you hadn't figured that out, but since it seems like you're not one, we shouldn't have any problems, kapeesh?"
