Subject: Silvara and Zorana

Prepared for the quest, and having left Firin with some belongings and Zorana’s mount, They bid him wait for their return, though they did not specify just how long he was to wait. Hopefully they would not be gone long themselves, and he with their possessions would be safely awaiting their arrival. Weapons at the ready, secondary and alternates within easy reach, and spirits high, Zorana and Silvara began their decent into darkness. The pair theorized and conversed on the riddle Firin had given them, and Zorana guessed they had good five or six hours of daylight ahead of them.

As they descended, Silvara in the lead, Zorana a few paces behind, it became all too clear as they descended the long staircase at least forty feet below ground, that Zorana would need a torch or some form of light to aid her vision. While Silvara’s elven vision would allow her a bit more sight down the passageway as they reached the bottom of the stairs, proceeding further would require more for her as well.
What she could make out however was a desolated ruin of what once was probably a simple but elegant temple or monastery. The eye, book and candle symbols of Oghma and Deneir were faded but evident in numerous places on the walls. The entrance in which they stood is roughly twenty feet wide and sixty feet long with four wooden doors leading off from it, two on the left and two on the right. The map they had looked over showed that the right doors led down hallways to what once may have been living quarters, a handful of small rooms, and a few larger ones, most notably a mess hall, some prayer chambers and the faded map ends in a room with no finished walls and the letters “l”…”b”…””…”y” barely legible. To the left of the main chamber went passageways towards a gymnasium and training yard, and a large hall, possibly for sermons or mass. Between the two left passageways was a small connecting chamber near the end, with a symbol one could only presume meant a stairway leading down.

As the two women stood in the main hall, there was a howling that passed through the room, and a chill that swept across their frames. Perhaps it was a gust from above…

Well, there are plenty of options:

There's heading upstairs, trying to aid those out in the street, Thanista is a bard she could try and inspire courage to those in the mad panic with a song or something. She can check on patrons in the bar, or take advantage of the panicked situation (though I don't support going on a crime spree lol)

You could simply post you wait and observe like Keeper of Dragon's has been.

The choice is really up to you.

Thondrek was wondering what was keeping everyone so quiet. Surey they had seen goblins before. Thondrek growled to himself as he watched the swarm of filthy critters move about down below. "I dun know about all of you, but I'd be more than willing to drop a couple o' fireballs on dem heads, watch em scatter like ants before a storm."

Thondrek moved a bit further along to try and get a better view, but distance and night were taking his quarry even farther than his own darkvision would allow. "I don't know about the rest of you, but we came this far not to stand around scratchin our arses while our only possible lead scuttles about under our noses."

Thondrek will move along the cliff face and paths as best he can staying out of sight of the goblins below, ready to trail them. His Fireball scroll with two castings is attached to the inside of his caster's shield.

Should be be spotted of a general alarm raised, he'll not hesitate to let loose a fireball into the largest grouping of goblins, illuminating the enemy for those above, while hopefully sending the little vermin into dissarray.

I left an apology with Artanis player DA, he can be anywhere she needs in the map, I forgot to add her and am sorry for the mistake.

AS for the Shatter spell, while the description vaguely states it attempts to blow up an item, if the item is massive and beyond the weight of the tenpounds per cater level limit, I will allow a targeted attempt of a smaller part of a whole such as a tree limb instead of an entire tree, with a standard will save pending results.

And as for Aelistae, I don't see why she wouldn't still be in her armor.

Highsun, 11th of Ches: Castle Tethyr; Tethyr

And so it was that on this beautiful afternoon that the company parted ways with Castle Tethyr and the bad memories it contained within its thick stone walls. The ride was a hard one, having lost so much time already, the party rode a forced march pushing the mounts to their limits as they tore across the open plains. Bartholomew bid the company rest for but a half hour, long enough to grab a quick bite and drink, while allowing time to quickly pat down and wash the sweat from the backs of the horses with a cool sponge of fresh water while they drank. Then it was on the road once more, for there were many miles to cover and little time in which to do so.

The group continued well into the afternoon, and everyone was getting both hungry and numb-bottomed from the constant vibrations of being in the saddle for hours on end. They finally found time for a respite when they came across a small clearing surrounded with stones and logs, a natural place for travelers to stop.

Xaris moves into the clearing, dismounting from Sunshine along with Elesia, and moves to the firepit in the middle of the clearing, and checks the remnants of the coals. Finding them cold and without a hint of smoldering, he deems the clearing unused for some time; perhaps travel across country had become less glamorous for the site seemed long since abandoned.

Bart bid everyone set up camp, and he went about bringing out the cooking gear, some firewood and moving to start the beginnings of dinner preparation. Soon the smell of cooked meats wafted into the air, and out here on the open road the group of relative strangers was able to commune with each other a little more. The was something almost tribal about those gathered around the campfire, and surely with all the mentioning of family when concerning each other, they may have well been their own little clan out here in the wilderness.

Day passed into the twilight, as the sun gave way for the moon, and the clouds parted to reveal the jewels of the heavenly kingdom above.

As night overtook the fire-lit skies of sunset, the companions began their evening preparations for rest. As tents were readied and bedrolls laid, there came a great howling to split the night silence. A trio more followed suit, followed by a last low growl that turned into an ear piercing howl that seemed to silence the others In the power of its own.

Snapping to attention, those with eyesight accustomed to the dark spread out, trying to keep their visual advantage as widespread as possible, to buy the other’s time. As the party prepared, the howl’s seemed to come from all directions at once, before everything fell deathly silent.

Silvara pulled out the remains of her wealth save a meager amount for personal cost of living, and approached the assorted adventuring gear spread out on a magnificent looking rug of hand spun fleece and gold. Firin smiled at the woman as she approached; his mental expression giving no hint of disappointment at not being able to make a larger sale, quite the opposite, and his mind came across as wistful and filled with glee at having made more customers. Firin beckoned the elf forward, and as he took her coin, he handed her a pick, a shovel, a hammer, a pair of torches, 5 pitons and a coil of hemp rope as well as a sturdy looking crowbar. All of the items were of fine useable quality and as a bonus Firin pushed a map and the key into the pile as well. “Making friends and repeat customers is far more important than making a quick score yes yes! I will give you these things for your journey down below, and maybe if you strike treasure, you will come to me again yes yes?”

As Silvara paid and took the items, stowing them as best she could on her person, Zorana took a walk around the area, finally noticing that the slabs of stone Firin sat upon actually covered most of a stairwell leading down below ground. Moss and stringy vegetation clung to the sides of the passage, and the sunlight filtered down only a handful of feet before the darkness successfully kept the light of day at bay.

Yes it's easy enough to find a mount, in all atuality the group has two extra horses, Moon Dancer, an elven Steed, and Sunfire, a brilliant white stallion if memory serves.

Bri and DM can describe them more, because they were their former character's steeds.

Zora and Silvara purchased the map and the key, and told Firin of what they had and wanted. Firin was more than happy to pull from an assortment of enchanted bags a shovel,. 10 pitons, a miner’s pick , a spear and a scroll of fly (CL5). He tallies up the total and tells the pair that the transaction comes to a steal of 421 gold and 4 silver for everything mentioned. He projects his mental glee at making yet another sale, and quietly awaits payment. “If I was you, I’d take a couple potions of invisibility, for easy movement undisturbed from roaming critters while you’re down there. I’ll tell you what, if you’re purchasing everything else I’ll sell ya a pair of them for a meager 500 more, now that’s a bargain yes yes!”

Bart turned as he was heading up the stairs, stopped by Talus.Bart turned, missing the first half of the stranger’s dialogue what with his mind so immersed in the sad task ahead. He managed a small smile towards Talus though, and spoke loud enough for Sheva to hear as well.

“I would place my life in any of my companions’ hands, knowing that they would give theirs for mine as I would in return should the need arise. We all know now more than ever of the dangers pursuing this quest will bring. I trust the judgment of character these fine folk have, and if they will have your company, and you’re aware of what lies ahead, I would be happy to have you along, both of you.”

With that he turned and headed upstairs.

As everyone went their separate ways, many if not all made time to stop by the charred remains of the house where comrades had fallen. Aelistae left a gift of affection, the same bestowed to her as a sign of he respect, before making a quick jaunt to the market to procure a trio of golf ball sized rubies in exchange for the items rewarded to her for their help in the routing of slavery earlier.

Artanis headed over to the house as well, and fell to her knees in tears at the sight of the offerings bestowed in memory to the fallen pair. The mother, Maribelle in hand approached, and without warning hugged Artanis. “Just the woman I was hoping to see!” The woman seemed positively gleeful despite her tragic surroundings.
“I’m so glad I caught you before you left, I wanted to show you my appreciation for what you did last night. Your actions saved my baby, when it could have just as likely ended up in mourning for three brave souls instead of just two.”

The woman told Artanis to wait just a moment, handing her Maribelle almost aggressively, (though gentle in concern to the child) she headed into the rubble strewn remnants of the house, and pulled forth a trunk which scraped along the walk as it went. By the looks of the woman’s efforts whatever was in the chest was of considerable weight. She stood there in front of Artanis, taking back her child and waiting anxiously for the woman to open the trunk.

“Go on, open it.”

(When Artanis does)
As the scorched lid of the heavy wooden trunk swung open, Artanis was met with a glorious array of weapons and armor. Sitting on top was a bastard sword of stunning quality. The gold gilded cross-guard was etched in the shape of twin gryphons facing towards the one piece tang of the blade which went from razor tip to leather and silk wrapped hilt ending in a golden lattice of a pommel wrapped around a small clear gemstone. Beneath that, was also a masterfully crafted breastplate, also gilded in gold along the edge. Emblazoned on the breastplate was a green and gold gryphon clawing proudly at the air. The sunlight reflected perfectly upon the immaculate pieces, washing Artanis’ face in a golden glow. As Artanis looked up at the mother with questioning eyes, she smiled a wistful smile.

“It figures out of all the things that were lost in the fire, my no good ex-husbands old battle raiment’s survived unscathed. He used to be quite the soldier back in the war, now well, old news, under the rug as it were. Believe me, this is the wear of a hero, and truly none deserve it better than you. You would honor me by taking these as a token of my appreciation for all you have done for me and my daughter.”
(Allows for responses but the woman is adamant about you taking the items (I’ve added your Montary bonus to these items in the added aesthetics of the items)

~*~*~*~
Bartholomew was at the appointed meeting place on the hour, awaiting those who had yet to arrive. “Well, I hope you’ve all done what needed to be done. I’ve collected the remains of Kas and Loriel’s things, and donated Kas’ wealth and items to the Temple of Tyr in her name. The Father seemed put out at the loss of a follower, but he assured me her name would be sung in sermon and remembered.

As for Loriel, I did not know if she prayed to any higher power, but I know of the respect for nature and animal-kind she displayed. So I took her belongings, and visited an old acquaintance who runs a greenhouse here in town. He’s going to use what he gains from the sale of such items, along with a donation of my own to expand the greenhouse, and invest in a breed of flower to bare Loriel’s name, that with time she can be remembered as her namesake is spread and sowed across the land. The only item I kept was her healing wand, as I felt she would want to aid in our safe passage, even if she were not there in person to do so.”

After any last minute conversation pieces were made, Bart bid everyone to mount up, for they had a hard ride north across open country to make up for lost time.

Subject: Moving on

There was definitely a dour atmosphere hanging over the Green Gryphon this day. With the news of the last night’s events, complete with the untimely loss of both Kas and Loriel, what should have been a day filled with renewed spirits and new friends, was marred with the black mark of death to stain the beautiful sun filled day

Bart had stayed rather silent throughout the conversation, and the coming and goings of his friends, or road-side family as Aelistae had said. When the conversation reached a lull however he cleared his throat to gain the other’s attention, and spoke.

“Like the crops in winter that wither and fade before the white, so too have Kas and Loriel, our dear companions passed on into the eternal spring, and like the seasons we must take their loss as a means to enrich our own lives, and to strengthen our own resolve and to grow from this experience into something… more.”
Bartholomew tapped his fingers idly together a moment before continuing.

“We should gather our things and pay our respects to the fallen at the house in which they fell. Apparently it’s further up the lane from here, and on the way to the gate in which we arrived. Everyone’s got the remainder of the hour, and we’ll meet at the gate. I’m going to go upstairs and see if our friends didn’t leave anything behind.” His words were heavy and as he pushed his chair away from the table and headed over to Angus for access to the rooms his footsteps seemed burdened with the task ahead.

Elesia and Moonshadow had also been quiet and solemn during the conversation. As Bart left, Elesia looked up, stroked Moonshadow and spoke in a soft voice. “Moonshadow, Loriel’s magnificent companion and friend, is now without her den mother, her warder, her family. Perhaps it is time we see this beautiful creature return to the wild, to forge a new life free from interference and the loss of anyone else on this dangerous trek. We have obviously attracted the attention of much more than what we originally signed on for, and Moonshadow here need not be endangered by our task.”

At the mentioning of her master’s name, Moonshadow lifted her head, looking for the familiar face to which the name was affixed, and failing to find it, whimpered and the Coo’shee seemed to understand the woman’s intentions, and buried her head further into Elesia’s dress, a low growl of refusal in her throat. Elesia’s eyes no longer held back the tears which had been swelling, and they fell freely, caressing her delicate cheeks leaving salty trails of sorrow along her face. Elesia excused herself from the others, petting Moonshadow gently, needing the companionship of the animal almost as much as the Coo’shee craved the attention of the woman. They left the Green Gryphon, and passed by the remnants of the house which had claimed Loriel and Kas.

The smoke no longer wafted into the air, but the unmistakable scent of char and smoke still hung in the air. Elesia’s eyes swelled even further as dozen’s of flowers, wreathes, candles and small trinkets lined the walk leading up to the rubble strewn building which was once an elegant historical home. The respect shown by the simple offerings to the strangers who had saved a villager’s child was astounding. The mother herself, walked ot from around the side of the house, and she smiled at Elesia and Moonshadow, before bowing her head low in recognition of the pair who were acquaintances of those who had lost their lives in saving her dear child Maribelle, who cooed and giggled happily in her mother’s arms.

“No word’s I have can express my sadness at their loss, or the gratefulness I feel for what their sacrifices have given me, but know they will never be forgotten so long as I have something to say around it. If you and your colleagues should ever head back this way in a month’s time or so, please, I ask you stop by, especially the woman who was with them. Artanis, I would have words with her before she leaves, I must give her my thanks.”

Elesia could only nod to the woman, and Moonshadow sniffed the air, before falling back on her haunches and raising her head, letting out a long loud howl of mourning that could be heard across the entire town, from the gate to the great temple of Tyr, from the sewer’s below to the top of the parapets and watchtower’s of the Castle itself. All in town would know of the loss of a great individual.

Yep Masterwork is just plus one attack: so Thondrek's now equipped with the masterwork Dwarven Waraxe with an attack of +9 (BAB 6 +2 Strength +1 MW) and a +10 when making his arcane channeling abiities due to the crystal.

As for finding the underground thing, I suppose trailing the goblins is one option, though I'd hate to get stuck fighting an entire swarm of them.

(Can I cast a couple fireball scrolls down into the valley for some free EXperience Thondrek needs to catch up haha)

anywho, um yeah I'm open to other's opinions.

"I have several questions though. What brought you here at this time, to this place. I find that very interesting coincidence,” her tone made it clear that she did not think it was coincidence. Secondly, why do you offer things to us? What is in it for you to offer these things to us? Certainly you can better sell your wares in a big market place where there are plenty of those with big purses. Mine is slender at best. A daresay Zora’s is even thinner as is her wont.”

Firin mused on the inquisitive nature of Silvara’s inquiries; and he thought Halflings were the ones who never stopped asking questions! He was formulating a response when Zora chimed in.

“Are you offering to aid us in this endeavor? If you are, it would do well in gaining Tyr’s favor. He is the God of Justice,” she pauses, “and Retribution. It would seem your condition is in need of such. There may come a time when I or one of my brethren can do this service for you, for the wizard the perpetrated this evil on you is surely in need of being brought to Justice.” There was not bravado in her words, no demand for righteous justice, yet in her voice was the firm resolve of one who meant what she said. “Tell me the name of the one who wronged you and I will remember his name.”

Firin gained that musing appearance again, before he looked up from his slab and stated rather plainly. “Merrick the Mad.” Firin said. He was the one who trapped me and sought to enslave me, thinking my brain to be small because the rest of me is, but I outsmarted him and escaped yes yes!”

He stroked his necklace nonchalantly before looking at Zorana, once more his ‘voice’ mentally imparted upon the recipients. “The Cardinal sounds dangerous, just as Merrick was. I am no warrior, and I fear a glib tongue won’t be of much service down below. My skills lie in the trade, and occasionally, when fortune is not so kind, fleeing with all Halfling haste as these wobbly legs will take me. No, I will not be joining you below, but I can assist you with information and supplies.” Firin looked over Silvara a moment before speaking. “You are not the first nor will you be the last to try and claim the war treasures below for their or some patron’s gain. Many other’s have crossed this way in the past weeks, which is why I am currently, here until the supply of new adventurer’s runs dry and I move on elsewhere. It can be beneficial to be the only on-site provider within days of the excavations.

But I shall not keep you from your task, so welcome welcome to Firin’s Adventure Emporium. I have anything you could possibly need on the mundane scale for dungeon delving, as well as a selection of magical potions and elixirs, scrolls, small trinkets and charms to ward away what ails you, and perhaps most importantly, information. And for you lovely ladies I will break the merchant’s code, of giving something for nothing, but I like you, so I will share this tidbit. An adventuer who passed this way some time ago left these word’s of possible wisdom, though their meaning is yours to decipher.

While all that glimmers be not gold,
And warmth of love melts heart of cold
When sun retreats for orb of night
The way revealed by silver light.

Firin lets that settle on the minds of the women before him a moment before continuing. Now, I’ve a map of the first floor, for sale, for 20gp, a key recovered from below that was apparently never used on whatever it was designed for for 15 gold, and all the items previously mentioned. Care to make a deal?

Chris stands there finally coming to a stop after having been yoinked and yanked around by Delilah in her fright. Even as they ran into another pair, and introdutions were made, Chris was aware of the fact that Delilah's hand hadn't left his own, and her nails were digging into his skin as she clenched his large hands like a child their blanket.

"I'm Chris, lost law enforcement apparently," he said even as he fastened the flashlight to the shoulder strap of his SWAT tactical vest.

(introductions and passive banter)

"Injured? no, but there's no use saying this town just aint right, somehow I don't think we're in Kansas anymore. The town, well, the edge of town, is just that, just a black void of nothingness, it's like we're trapped in some pocket hell." Chris tapped his thick table leg against the side of his steel combat boot as he thought. "I've got a feeling as I mentioned to miss Delilah here, that I'm convinced more answers lie within Jack's inn, where I awoke in this nightmare. I've already found evidence that all four of us, plus perhaps another were staying there at some point." With that he showed them the registry ledger with their names in it, as well as showing Cindi the picture of the fox-faced girl he had found baring a striking familiarity.

"I think before we go on, we may have to go back to where we've been, are you ladies armed? "

Chris could see the interested glances at the ipod strapped to his vest and the white static and glow of white noise it gave off. "I don't know why or how, but it seems to react whenever those creatures are around, sorta like a freak-radar, I won't question the mechanics, but any aid is welcome in this place."

Subject: Firin Ranklefoot, Merchant Extraordinaire!

The Halfling Firin hobbled towards Zora and Silvara, a mental smile imparted upon the women; it was until Silvara began casting a spell and drawing steel.

“Well, now, what is with all this hostility my friends?” Firin said once more telepathically.

Silvara’s detect magic spell goes off, and as she focuses on the curious little man before her, she is rewarded with aura’s of Abjuration and Divination coming from the silver amulet hanging around the Halfling’s neck. Aside from that, however it does not appear as though Firin has any other magic about his person, aside from the bag tied to his hip, presumably a bag of holding or some such.

"If you are injuried or in need, I would say that it was more your good luck to meet us. If you would wish, I would see what I could do to aid you, even to refreshing your bandages.

Firin looked upon Zorana with curious eyes, before once more imparting his telepathic response. “While I appreciate your concern kind lady, it would take I fear an act of god to heal that which I have been burdened with. You see, beneath these bandages is a truly horrific sight, in fact, the very reason I do not speak using word of mouth, is simply because there is little left of my mouth left with which to formulate anything coherent.”

Firin could tell the women were curious, perhaps incredulous. “Evil wizard thought it would be practice his witchcraft on poor ol Firin, a truly painful recollection of a tale.” Firin shuddered as thought fearful of even the memories of times past. “But Firin is resourceful, and quick, and managed to escape with his life, what was left of it. For days, Firin clawed and crawled through the wilderness until some kind people rescued Firin and nursed him back to a semblance of good health. Fortunately, Waterdeep has many merchant families and I was fortunate to have been found by such a home with heart to match their wealth. The kind folk hired a local mage to help bind my shattered and broken body with these bandages, and he also gifted me with this amulet, to allow me to communicate in spite of my physical inability.”

Firin tried to smile, not that his features were recognizable. “But Firin is as I said resourceful, and a quick learner, and so I took upon the merchant’s trade, with not but scraps and odds and ends, and grew my mighty mercantile empire from there yes yes!” The Halfling puffs out his little chest with swelling pride. “Across Toril Firin Ranklefoot is or shall be known as the greatest merchant alive!, and so I say again, what fortune you have to have crossed my path!”

Firin moved back and sat upon an upturned flagstone of grey slate. “Now, no doubt you ladies are here to test your luck at uncovering the lost and buried treasures of the shrine below yes yes? Is there anything your friend Firin might be providing you for your venture?”

Topic: Forgotten Realms: the Unsung Heroes Q/A
Subject: Well now

I'm really enjoying the conversation coming and going with the main group, so aside from some Bart / Elesia occasional npc input, I'll let this run it's course as there is so very much to run off of here.

As for Bri and DM, I'll post for the new characters after I wake up, so around 1-2pm yor time I'm thinking.

Bart lazily came down to the common room, wiping the sleep from his eyes. He was dressed for the road, pack hefted on broad shoulder's strengthened from years of manual labor, and a shiny new pitchfork strengthened with lines of steel along the half and a solid steel four prong tip at his side, instead of the customary rudimentary iron. “

“Good morning everyone”, he said with a smile, pulling up a chair and leaning his pitchfork against the wall as he took a seat. His dark brown eyes scanned over the assorted food and drink on the table, and he hollered out to Angus to bring a “little of everything.” It seemed a hearty sleep had brought with it a hearty appetite. As his eyes fell upon Talus, he quirked a brow before smiling as he saw the man sat next to Artanis.

“Good Morrow, I don’t believe we’ve met.”

Just then, Elesia parted the threshold letting in a golden stream of sunlight in her wake. As everyone else who had met her already knew, she was a vision of beauty through and through, as though there were something, supernatural about the grace of her step and the perfection of her appearance. At her side was an odd sight, Moonshadow, Loriel’s trusted Coo’shee wolf companion walked quietly beside her, his furred neck rubbing against the woman’s leg, once more dressed in a simple white dress of leather and linen, her vision of innocence enhanced by the all white ensemble. As Elesia approached the table, she sat quietly, a look of sadness across her normally every cheerful features. Even the slightest curl of her lips seemed like the heaven’s would weep with her, and the sorrow in her eyes were so evident it was as though the dam would burst soon enough to wash away all in her presence with her tears.

“A Morrow to you all, though sadly not a good one.” she said quietly. So distracted was she that the normally effervescent woman totally ignored or had failed to notice the new addition to the table. Moonshadow stood by her side, nuzzling his large head in her lap. The sight of the wolf sparked an inquiry from Bartholomew. “That’s right, where is Loriel, she’s usually one of the first one’s up.” At the simple comment Elesia had to bat her lashes as she looked away to keep the moisture in her eyes from spilling forth. “That is a tale not for me to tell, though the end of the story is clear to me.” As she scratched the back of the almost lamenting wolf’s head, her eyes fell on Artanis, undoubtedly putting her uncomfortably on the spot.

The trek had taken the coterie of companions far from the relative safety of civilizations domain, and into the hostile wilderness where savagery and survival ruled stronger than any law or doctrine of man. Out here, every step would have to be taken with measured caution, and every decision made with calculated risk. It was not a realm where one should be careless; and yet as grasslands gave way to rocky outcroppings and stone covered footing, Thondrek could only smile as he edged his horse on.

“Aye tis good to set foot on solid ground once more.” He said as they came to the uneven broken ground and he dismounted, hefting his gear onto his broad shoulders and setting his horse free. As the mare made back for more stable, familiar, and safer territory, Thondrek actually gave a little barely audible prayer for the mounts well being, a curious oddity to the typically unimpassioned Khord.

As day passed into night, much more quickly than the Khord would have liked, and the drums began to echo across the landscape, Thondrek secured his shield and belongings, (including spiked cleat boots should he have been able to acquire climbing kits as per the q/a) and looked to his companions for their sign of being ready to proceed. “I’d suggest we spread us Khord’s around the party, I’ll happily head up front, let our eyes do what they’re meant to do, like spot any creeping critters before they spot us.”
