Yes, In exchange for you teaching me your language," the elven woman replied as they continued walking towards the castle. On the walk Elendara contemplated what her guild mistress had told her.
As the drow half-breeds approach she lifted her eyes and kept them steady on the dark=though not black skinned figure. Each had been shosen by ther respective guilds to serve the king but the ages-old animosity for Drow kind ws not easily put aside. An for one so unknown to her to carry such blood, well she would have to work on that. depending on this person's own actions.
As he introduced himself to the raptor and herself she nodded to him. and listened politely to what he had to day,
The raptorean's question to the half-drow was surprisingly to the point. Blunt to tell the truth but Elendara listen and watch the man as he replied. It truth lay in the eyes and the language of the body.

Elendara looks over to the raptorean, assessing what she sees, for that is all she had to go on for now. They had only been introduced my name earlier today.
"Indeed I do. I have all I need. I can live off the land if necessary.
Elendara herself needed very little as long as they traverse in the wilds of forest and field. Her aim was true and she could bring down something if necessary to feed herself and others as well of that she had no doubt.
Not understand what it said though It sounded like speech of some sort Elendara asks the male to translate. What does that mean? Is it in your language?"

Elendara jogged back to her guild, Spoke briefly to the GUildmaster telling them what the mission was. in a brief concise summation. Then she went to collect her things.
Elendara check out her pack and rearranged a few things and added so others not knowing how long this mission would take. She check her arrows and smoothed the fetching and check each shaft for straightness and to made sure the tips were on tight. She adds 6 new of new bow strings. It would not be good to run out at an inopportune moment. Sharpening her longsword and dagger she oiled them both and her scabbard. She would pick up fresh trail rations as well, perhaps some trail mix of dried fruits, berries, and nuts as well. and some dried meat as well.
When everything she needed or had was packed she headed out of the Guildhouse.

Well she had asked and she was answered with what she wanted as an answer, or did she. Did it make a difference.
Siliwen thought carefully, the choice was not easy to make Only those words helped a bit. She had set out in the world with Joriel because she had been ready to, so she had thought. Unfortunate circumstance lead to his death when he had stayed to fight the bandits and sent her on. That lost she had had no had time to deal with yet. Billy and Alea were her very close friends, bonded by ties of mutual respect that she had never had before for any outside her family and close friends and never for a non-elf. But there is was she had now added them to her circle of close friends.
The balance scale hung weighted with the two choices she had been given. It tip one way and then another, finally it came to rest at least in her own mine. No, the choice was not easy but one must be taken. To go or to stay.
"I choose........," Siliwen paused second guessing herself, "to stay. If my parents will be told what happened here and to Joriel, my mentor. He should be honored and the names of all my friends here that their families will know as well."

Siliwen listened careful but Alea words did not lessen her anxiety over the choice she had to make. thoughts pro and con flooded her mind. and whirled about She had trouble taking it all in and sorting though her feelings and desires. They had been pushed for so long that she was tired. Tired and wanting to go home. What for, refuge? if she was not so exhausted perhaps the choice would be clearer, now it was muddied terribly in the aftermath of that had happened. Her body was dying, the voice had said yet the voice promised them they could make a choice home or here. Home beckoned strongly but so did friendship.
"This is not fair." she wailed withing herself. They had done what others had not. They had saved this world and their own.
I just don't know, I can't decide. My brain is awhirl. I am so tired and I have dreamed about going home. Yet you are both very special to me." Siliwen says sadly Without you I would never have been able to do this,"
To the voice she calls out. "If I choose stay will I ever be able to return to my own world? If my family could only be told= what happened to me, it would be easier. Surely there is some way the Gods who were involved could inform them. Would they do such a thing?"
While she waited for an answer hoping for an anwser, she thought about those who had been lost. Riddle, Thron of their original group, the Dwarves, the Shona, Bin in particular. She wondered if any had survived of the Shona. She owed them a great debt. She also needed to tell thr dwarves of how their warriors had died. Only she could tell their story down to the last of them.

Bronwyn arrives down for dinner as cleaned up as possible and her best robe on. It was not much It was one of Madga;s that her grandnother had cut down for her. WIth the arrival of the knight to the castle she thought it proper to look her best. She knotted back her air in to a twist and fastened it down with a few pins. She bit her lips and pinched her cheeks for color and descended the stairs to the hall where dinners were served.
Bronwyn missed Elendil's comforting presence. The elven ranger seemed comfortable wherever she went--Bronwyn was not like that. She wanted to be. The smells of cooking increase the higher she ascended form her basement quarters. Not much but they were her own space.
She thought about what she might be able to purchase to make it more livable. A waredrobe would be nice and a real bed, but if this were not a permanent place for her then she would have to leave those thing behind. A small chest might do a better job for her. Two matching ones for her Alchemical lab and another for her personal possessions might eeven do better. She thought about how much those might cost and what she could make and sell to earn the funds.
The gold that the others had given to her for her part in the fight was as unexpected windfall, and she planned to keep it a nest egg for her own place and any components she might need to created magic items. She might go ahead and make some alchemical silver for weapons or maybe alchemical fire, though she didn't know if there would be much call for those items. That was her big concern--selling what she could make.

Siliwen was torn, her only two remaining companions through this long quest had chosen to stay. Her spirits sank. What would it be like to be separated after their success here. they to stay and she to return home?
Home, family friends, all that she had known for years. To stay here would mean to be parted from them forever.
This was no reward for what they had done. It tore her apart.
"Why don't you want to go home."

"I wish I knew what was going on with them. Why are they here, what do they need the land provisions for.I am not thinking of attacking at all though I am interested in getting to the bottom of the problem. It might mean an overture from us toward the Lizardmen. If I could only find a way to contact that elven cleric to the sea god. We might be able to negotiate something with these folk.
"Where the woman fits in or even if she does not perhaps we can negotiate for the town with these folk but I just don't know if they are capable of doing that."

Brianna never really knew much about Flame's origins or if he even understood the concept. She hadn't asked but rather accept the red mini dragon for his companionship and even his antics as well as his thieving ways. After all that is how she met him in the first place. HE had found and stolen the Orb of ALl Dragon Control and had the Dark One on his tail almost literally. She had grabbed it from him and then threatened its destruction in the face of that evil being, since there was no escaping form him or his minions.
"I am willing to follow them but that must be a personal choice for each of you."

Subject: Catering woes
I feel for you Jo and I were the autocrates of a feast for 125 people, of 4 removes with 16 period dishes a church kitchen and volunteer help that was not in evidence for most of the prep and cooking.
I also cooked for 80 kids at a camp when the cook kitchen trailer failed to make to site on time over a wood fire with four concrete bricks with a flat piece a metal over it.
Such fun. I had when younger.

Isimiri nods in agreement to Tamuril's suggestion of moving down the tunnel. It was all still much of a mystery as to what was really going on here, but she was not one to just rush in killing folks just because they were different. And it wouldn't satisfy her curiosity about the whole matter in hand. Hopefully too they could discover how they could find a way to make peaceful diplomatic contact with these lizardmen, or at lease no hostile contact. Only how were they to facilitate that? It was the big question.
Taking extra time to move silently she traverses back through the tunnel.

Elendara stands to the rear of those who gatherd at the KIng;s summons. She listened politely her ears catching everything said and done in the room. When the King is finished she bows and waits until her departs. Looking carefully at the other four and takes mental notes of each and then turns to leave.
Once outside she heads straight for her guild hal. Arriving they she enters, there is little formally for members to enter the Guildhouse.
