Brianna turned to the dark woman. "Would it be okay, Alexandria, if you peace bond your weapon yourself?" Brianna asks her.

"Or, Sergeant, could we pay a bond for her sword being kept in it sheath.

Brianna decided that if Alexandria would not bond her weapon she would stay with her outside the town and so she told Alexandria to give her an option.

"Alexandria, if you can't do as they ask then I will stay with you outside the town."

Isimiri's active mind was contemplating the information they had found in the journal trying to discover any bits of the puzzle they were seeking to solve. The mage had mentioned both the fisherman and his love from the sea but the tone of the words left as many questions as answers. There was aksim what she supposed, to me s idication of the feud they had found out about at the monestary.

The last entry she also found to be most interesting but its connection to anything else was unknown and perhaps unknowable.

Isilmiri will copy the revelant passages about the lizardmen and the what she thought was a reference to the feud and included the final cryptic entry as well. All pieces of a one or more puzzles.

"We will take what we have found including the empty sword case. Though I would advise sealing up the sages journal fe handled carefully and wrapped in oiled or waxed cloth.".

Isilmiri returned to where Driscoll is perusing the tome her had found on the shelves. Reading over his shoulder she spots the key passages as he reads.

"I need to copy those," she goes over to call up to those remaining above. "Anyone have pen, ink, and paper on them? I need those things to copy something down."

Brianna turned to the right dismounting from shadowbane smoothly. and looped her raiens over the stallions neck. She nooded to the guards outside the guard house and stepped into the building itself. it contains one medium size about 15' by 30' room with a desk and chair in it as door behind that a stairs that lead up to the second floor and battlement just off to the left.

Brianna moved over to the desk leaving room for the others to enter behind her.

"Good evening, we have just arrived and have come here to register and peace bond out weapons. The man beyond the desk looked up and then up some more to take in the tall red=haired Amazon that stood well over his head even if he had been standing.

"You do not need my permission to join us, We are pleased to have you join us. There is so much we do not know about this world and would appreciate learning more."

Brianna turned to regard Soronuume's horse.

"You have a fine mount. My family were noted for their breeding of great horses. I miss guarding the herds at night, especially during late spring and summer when the new foals arrive. There were births every night, it kept us busy."

Brinna missed more than that but those other memories still hurt too much to remember she avoided then; her family murdered. her tribe scattered or enslaved and being sent to the Forbidden Isles, the prison isles is what they were.

Bronwyn smiles and gives a curtsey to Lord Bart. "I have brought you Sir Roderick, a warrior of Helm, who has just arrived."

"I do not want to interrupt you any more, The plans expansion of the keep are a very good thing. I will leave him with you and prepare for dinner as the gong has already sounded."

Bronwyn showed herself out and went to her room to wash and change for dinner. She donned her one decent mage robe that Magda had given her years ago. It had been one of Magda's court mage robes, not fancy but beautiful material that Bronwyn had been able to alter with her Grandmother's help.

"A vestige of a God." Katsumi repeated to herself, as she thought about Miliani's explanation. "It is sad to see what was a God of Light and Law reduced to that thing we saw."

katsumi moves over towards the door where she heard the voice coming from. She had no special abilities to judge others except by their words and actions. And words were often twisted with need and not truth.

Her eyes adjusting to the low light in the prison allowed her to see further than most humans could, though she knew those of elven blood had much the same skill.

Subject: Hmmm, interesting

I do have a question Using a religion check is there anything I can figure out about the symbol on the top of the sword box.

As part of my character I have mentioned about a family heirloom lost many many years ago with an close ancestor of mine. Of course due to Sylvari longevity that can be many hundreds of years ago.

Anyway I named the sword the Sword of Light and as player found it interesting about the sun symbol on the front. because what it was was a Brilliant energy sword/

Just wondering and of course knowing you it will be a matter of finding out,

Katsumi had watched Miliani's strange ritural to it end, but had stepped away a pace and clung onto her tetsubo with a firm grip when the dtrange beast in the senter of the pentagram appeared. HEr face remained passive though she was not confortable since did did not understand what was going on.

"What was that thing?" Katsumi asked quietly once it had disappeared.

When she hears the voice from those still locked in their cells, Katsumi turns to the others, "Let us go see what we can do for those still locked in their cells. We should be wary though."

Yes cautions and and because of that Katsumi will keep the strange red-skinned elf in front of her and not behind her until her true nature is revealed.

Isilmiri shook her head at the serenade by her two companions. "what aare you two doing? Trying to drive away the ghosts? " She laughed and kept looking about the floor for any signs of a door to below the tower. As she steoed from one board to another she felt it give faintly with the slightest creak.

"There might be something here she called out to the others. Come help me."

With some help from sharp eyes and skilled senses, they found a board that could be moved just slightly. She took a thin blade of a dagger to gently pry it out of the floor to revealing a handle.

"A torch or lantern will be useful." Isilmiri mentions.

Isilmiri moved through the lab below with care. Anything of seeming importance she gathered to a table, or bench top to examine later. That included especially the books in the wizard shelves. She also looked about for any hidden storage compartments.

They had found so specimens, books, and a chest and out and about in the lab. When the box was found and open it was easy to see it had been for a sword, but it was not there the red silk lining held not sword but you could see that it had been there, once. What was interesting was the carving on its top that of a sun with long rays. Isilmiri touched the symbol carefully. Wondering silently at the meaning of that symbol, The sun, or light, could it be? An unexpected hope arose in her heart. Isilmiri considered the thought carefully. The symbol might mean anything. It did not mean it was what she wanted that to mean, a symbol of the ancient sword of her house--the Sword of Light. No, reason argue with hope, that would be too much of a stretch.

Brianna glanced at Lorae but then chose to respond to Soronuume, "We seek many things, but not likely what one usually assumes for adventurers."

"I will speak truly though it will sound more of fantasy that reality. Lorae and I are not from this world, nor are our steed, or Flame. We were transported here the why of it, I do not know. With us may have come a being of great Evil, known to us as 'The Dark One.' What we seek is information of his presence and another thing prophesied on our world--The Sword of Truth, It is said to be the only thing that can destroy him. He is not easy to find as he works behind the scenes, but his presence can be discerned by the changes he causes in places and people."

Brianna watches Soronuume's response to what she had just imparted.

Brianna takes out the map she had gotten and checks again on there approximate whereabouts.

"This town marked here is still a ways off. We will have to make good time to reach there by evening. That or we can just travel easier and make camp somewhere short of the town. But I will be willing to make a try for the town for a soft bed and a good mug of ale."

Brianna moved Shadowbane out at a gentle canter for a while just until he began to break a sweat then she dismounted and walk briskly with him. Later remounting and walked trotted until she cantered again, and then repeated the whole procedure again.

Brianna kept her bow out and an arrow ready to nock and draw if a convient prey passed near enough for her to take.

Brianna drifted back to join the others confident enough that with a clear road ahead of them she could see far enough ahead to not have to keep up a forward scout.

"For me it ws the early spring on the grass plains," She says with fondness for the awakened memories. The air is warm in the sun with the scent of gresh grass growing, and the first spring flowers that are gathered for the Maiden's Festival.

Katsumi watched the smaller female climb through the debris of her cell into the room she was in. While she was smaller that Katsumi, and of a much more delicate form than her own, she remained vigilant. Her master had been smaller than she and could put her down 5 times out of 6.

"Oh....hello," the woman spoke in common then smiled, "Strange weather we're having in here isn't," she giggled, then walked over to the human and offered her hand. She had read as a child this was custom in human greetings and said "I am called Miliani. And you..."

At first Katsumi though the new pwesons ruddy complexion was due to poor light and drifting debris in the air. But those were not the cause of the wamans a[[arent skin tone. The newcomer's skin tone was red and it shone strangely like the dcales of fire lizard.

However, politeness requited appropriate response. though the woman was strange to Katsumi's eyes.

Katsumi nodded her head politely, though her eyes remained wary. “I am Katsumi. I have been unaware of any changes of weather while I have been here.”

Katsumi noticed the woman’s hand held out as some people do. She released her right hand from her tetsubo and held it out to the woman’s proffered hand and shook it carefully. The woman’s hand was small and fragile unlike her own.

“Well met. Mi-li-a-ni,” intones Katsumi, “Let us see what we can find here and find a way out of here.”
