Billy staggered from the impact with the Beast and realized that he was within reach of Siliwen; without realizing it he was swinging his sword, or it was swinging itself, at the chain manacles holding Siliwen up to the wall. With a mighty blow, the Giant sword rang off the stone and the manacles parted like warm butter.
Alea had made it to her knees at Siliwen’s feet when there was a loud ringing of steel on stone and suddenly Siliwen fell into her arms and they were both kneeling together holding each other up.
Billy’s heroic effort of strength seemed to run out of him as Siliwen was freed and suddenly he found he couldn’t stand anymore; he collapsed to his knees in front of Siliwen and Alea where they clung to each other seemingly to hold one another upright. The warrior felt drained and realized that he didn’t have the strength to stand or fight anymore. He silently hoped the ‘voice’ in his head was right and that by freeing Siliwen they would be saved.
Siliwen could only watch her friends struggling against the overwhelming odds they face, Billy finally broke free and was coming her way but it looked like he was aiming at the Beast. She was surprised when Billy rammed the hideously deformed creature and knocked it into the wall. He swung her sword and cut the chains holing her up. She fell ingloriously being releaseed from where she had hung. Her arms were limp her legs wobbly. Billy fell to one side and Alea crawled over to her other side. She had to get up
Siliwen heard a loud cry errupt up from the back of the cave. And then she saw some rock dwellers charging towards the downed trio of friends. The remaining Shelnak Leaders were closing on the group as well, their iron staves dripping with raw power.
The Beast recovered and shook himself, as if the charge by Billy was nothing. The filthy creature glared at them and then laughed, leaning down to leer at them in their faces.
“You see!” He yelled, bloody spittle flying from his shapeless lips, “you are nothing! Puny humans! You have no power over me!” He threw his head back laughing maniacally and the large stone hanging from the heavy chain around his neck hung down glowing it’s blood red color.
That was it. That is what she needed to get to. The ring to the Stone. She prayed that was it. So close, so tantalizingly close and she lay like a rag doll. Only she wasn’t.
Siliwen could see the stone nearly within reach and the ring she wore was glowing a bright white light glaring against the red of the Beast’s stone. Siliwen felt that if she lunged and stretched herself out from where she knelt, she could touch the foul stone of the Beast with her hand.
Then they all heard a voice, inside their heads, "Now is the time," it said in a familiar male voice of someone they met not long after starting upon this journey, "you must all join your strength together to persevere."
“Help me! All together NOW. We are not done yet, Billy, push me,” Siliwen called out exhorting her friends for this final effort, even as she makes every effort to stand and move herself. This will take all of them doing their best, this one time when it meant everything.
Siliwen will uses Alea, who was trying to crawl forward as her impetus and Billy as her steady rock she threw her left hand up high aiming above the creature’s head to distract him while her right hand darts out like a striking snake to grabbed at the heavy chain and hold on grimly with all her might. Strength beyond bone, tendons, ligaments, muscle and blood, strength from the core of her, strength in the face of extremity, strength drawn from her race and their heritage, and from the heart and soul of her friends and those who had died to make this happen, for her companions that started out together, the Dwarves, the Shona, Siliwen gave all she had.
Corellon I will give my life without reservation, to free this world of this foulness, both creature and stone,” Siliwen spoke this clearly in her mind there was no need for spoken words.
Siliwen, if necessary will drag herself up by that chain and then strike out with her left hand to jam the ring against the lurid glowing stone. There was no holding back now, worrying about what might happen next. This foul beast and that shard needed to be destroyed.

Patience, Isilmiri told herself. They would go back to their posts and Driscoll would be able to sneak out. She kept that thought going not sure what Tamuril was doing with that spell.
She heard them talking for what passed as talking and one sort of gargled in an awful tone, that grated on Isimiri's ears.

Alea approached from the side still shooting but as she nears she switches her attention to Siliwen and the manacles that held her. Unfortunately the Creature became enraged and Struck her with an arcane force that toss her into the wall.
Billy was still struggling against the invisible bonds Hope faded until suddenly he was released. PErhaps the because the creature had stuck out at Slea,, perhaps because it was easkening. She did not really care and sdismiss the thought rapidly. She calls out to Billy not wanting him to run off and attack more Shelnak.
"Billy! Here to me. Set me free. Hurry." Siliwen calls out.

Mine is up now I read Dm;s just after she posted her wasn was positive that I replied to it and was waiting for her. Obciously I hadn't posted or at least nothing showed when I went to game.

Isilimiri can bareky hear Tamuril's chanted spell. She waits and then motions to her to wait, or she hoped Tamuril would understand it that way.
Isilmiri did not like having no plan to work with., So she points to Tamuril and then back down to the beginning of the tunnel to get her to move back away from this area.

Subject: Slow. to Non-existent
Slow. The only games I can count on in the last month or so , are Gboy's Of Dragons and Men, Tann Talas's Trilogy War, and Dragons Mistress's Peradyse lost. The other games I am shown to be in have all fizzled out or Dm disappeared.
Admiral said I I saw Her blamed it on himself, and I concur. His sparkeling effervescent vitality has been gone from the Inn for too long.
I have high hopes for Vilymar's new game and hope once Skari-don gets his computer up, his game will start up. Hammer to got one up and recruited for and characters made but no game as yet.

Subject: Trillion Flys Invisible.
Trillion flys ahead towards the fleeing tattooed girl. her powerful wings help her to close the distance to the running girl. She catches sight of the shadow confronting Achilles.She casts invisibility on herself as she does, but believes Achilles can handle the shadow himself.
Unfortunately she does not know about what the other are planning to do. She figured since she was faster that anyone on foot she was best to handle the situation, (Ah, well).

Other arrivals to the unveiling of goodies:
Precious flies back a bit tardily form the pool of water and lands on Alexandria's shoulder curling her tail around her neck hanging on to a lock of hair to steady herself and when content letting go.
She sees the things that Lorae had laid out and the swords that Brinna pulled out.
"Ooooo, magic," Precious whispers softly into Alexandria's ear.
"Nice,"
Flane came flying in and did an almost reverse flip in the air and dived for the pile of magic and other items
He grabbed up a ring. "Mine. Mine. Mine, I found it."
Brianna walks over and gaarps him by the scruff of the neck and gently. No, I don't think so. Some of this is Vatta's and if that is what you have, you can't have it.
Flame;s head droop, he looks so patheritc, something is is very practice at.
"No?" Flame ask dejectedly.
"No," Brianna states simply and goes to pull the ring away which Flame is very reluctant to release until she quickly blow into his ear fan. He is so distracted he lets go. the ring back for now.
"Bad Brianna," Flame pouts
Ignoring the Flame's remarks Brianna turns back to Alexandria, and Soronuume,"I know both You both use magic wands too. Please look over what is here and if you can use it take it for now. Later if we get more you can always trade what you get for what you can use better."

Brianna suddenly realized just how her rather bald statements might mean to Alexandria.
"I am sorry about spilling that out without explaining first. I sometimes tend to be blunt."
"It was a case of Drow fighting Drow that we happened upon. One group had wrested a young girl from her family and were dragging her off as a sacrifice for Lolth. We intervened to stop that and were attack by the Drow who follow Lolth. The other we found out later were fleeing from them as they worshiped Elistraee."
"We only took what the evil drow had on them and left the good drow with their own things."
"There are also to magical blades I carry two in my bag they are mithral scimitars. One is +3 and the other one is dancing, but I can't remember which one though. Because of that it might be good for a magic user or a cleric since you can just let it do it thing. The handy haversack if very useful item as well."
Brianna brings out the two scimitars that she mentioned. Both masterwork weapons

Trillion aborts her spell that she readied to cast against the tattooed woman instead she flies up and after the fleeing girl. Trillion is much faster in the air than the girl on the ground.

Brianna takes up the offered food. Thick slabs of crispy smoked bacon, rolls still warm from the oven, cool creamy butter, and cherry preserves, Lorae had brought the whole pot of that. hot hard boiled eggs, cheese, and a few sweet treats. And a pitcher of Ale. IT couldn't be better than this. The day already promised to be fair and warm but it was still quite nice in the morning.
"We need to get moving won't get to where we need until we get moving." Brianna comments between bites.
When Lorae and Alexandria come back into camp Brianna suddenly remember the extra stuff they had gathered when they fought the drow. Lots of useful things.
"Hey Lorae we need to bring out some of the stuff we took there might be things that Devon Soronuume and Alexandria could use. Better thatn it just doing nothing in the bag."

Siliwen wept when she saw Billy's charge towards her halted but some fell magic the creature cast on him. Billy hated magic he was so forthright and upfront.
Siliwen had to try something. she refused to simply hang her without doing everything she could to do what she had to do. Her wrists many be in shackles but her hands were relatively free to move. She carefully made the gestures to cast magic missiles at the creature. Perhaps, it would be enough to break the thing's concentration. As quietly as possible she whispers the words of the spell that would hurl the arcane missile, angling her fingers down at her chosen target.
Be distracted, curse you, she thought furiously and once again lashing out with her foot screaming at the creature she struggled to distract him as well as to get free., not content to do nothing.
If that doesn't work she tried focusing on the ring The ring and the Share. They had some sort of connection. It was what had brought her here and the only thing that could possible be what was needed to destroy the shard.
Siliwen will focus and try to push magic into the ring to see if it will do what must be done. Siliwen was grasping at straws but it was better than nothing. it kept her mind off of failure.

Well Isilmiri am not for attacking. , Causing a distraction I could understand. For Isilmiri she is still unsure of what is going on and the words in the old sage's of mage's journal area puzzle that have many possible answers and since she has no idea still which is the right answer she would refrain from an attack unless lives were threatened. Since they are unarmedm I would not attack. Sneaking in though is possible and we could create a disturbance and probably would considering the difficulty you are in. But unfortunately for you Driscoll we cann't communicate with you directly and will have to work out our plan between Tamuril and myself.

Isilmiri motions the others back so they can discuss things well away from those lizard men. She is not sure just how well they can hear nor, how well sound carries in such a tunnel.
When she feels they are far enough away she stops them and whispers. "There must be more of them somewhere about perhaps beyond where they are guarding. I suggest we look further before we attract the attentions of the lizardmen."

"I will join you for that practice. It is an area of weaness that I planned on improving when I came here. Isilifeleen did not mention that she was not a student but had been hired to teach archery, because in one sense that of the use of the sword and shield she was.
Isilifeleen finished the last few bites of her breakfast adn deposited her dishes in the opening to the kitchen where they were put after a meal, She shifted ehr bow case on her back for now .and joined the Lycan as the girl gathered others to join her.
Coming here ad been a real departure from Isilifeleen's career path but she figured she could learn more by coming here than trying to do this all on her own.
